The salesman was an experienced installer and answered all of our questions without any sales pressure. Work started about one month after contract signing, as we were told up front, because the windows had to be manufactured. When work started, it moved rapidly to completion. A supervisor visited each day and ensured that all of my questions and concerns were answered. We would hire this contractor again.

I have submitted a previous review of this company, but will do so again, at urging of Angie's List. We used this company for roofing and guttering. They are excellent. They are prompt, courteous, professional and responsive to needs. All questions or concerns are given serious consideration before work begins. Bordner Installation Group goes the extra mile to provide customer satisfaction.

From the very first phone call Bordner was professional, reassuring, competent and all avenues of communication were superb! We first met with Sales Consultant, Tom Barker, to firm up plans with our house project. He was AWESOME! Tom explained how the entire process was going to play out !!! Tom worked diligently advocating on our behalf with our insurance company until everything we needed was obtained. We met Colby Adkins, the foreman of the crew and the actual crew working on our home. They were all unbelievably competent, pleasant and professional. We had been in a hellish situation with a previous supposedly high -rated roofing and siding company. We had to experience for the first time, the uncomfortable lessons of firing! This was all extremely crucial to us as we are just two girls with a house, that we want to take care of! We feel like we can rest now knowing from hereon we are in excellent hands for all of our home construction needs! THANKS BORDNER YOU ARE THE VERY BEST!!!

Scott came out and gave us different options to consider of possible replacement/repair ideas. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and sincere in his advice. He is definitely an asset to that company. My wife was so impressed by his professionalism and estimate that she did not what to consider the other estimates we had received. Scott also came out after my wife noticed the line in the stucco of the repair work and was very understanding and said it might have to be redone, but would go back and discuss it with Shaun (Site foreman.) Shaun did a great job explaining the work and supervising the workers. We were very pleased with his professionalism as well. Bordner's also did a follow up call the next day to see if we were pleased with the work; we said yes, but didn't notice the line until the next day after they called. My wife called the company and Scott was out the very next day to review our findings. The next day the company called us and said they would re-stucco the one side of the house with the line. They came out immediately and got the work completed to our satisfaction. Their stucco work looks great. Even though we were a little disappointed in the noticeable line in the stucco and they had to re-stucco that side of the house, how can you complain when a company backs their work like Bordner's did. I would not hesitate to use this company again in the future - what a great bunch of professionals who are knowledgeable and understanding to their customer needs. Our experience was outstanding with Bordner's. I wish I received that kind of service from all the companies I have dealt with in the past.

They were detail-oriented and cleaned up every day. They used sheets of plywood to protect the house and windows and to keep debris out of plantings and bushes.

The Bordner person, Mr Starr came very quickly. He inspected the roof, took pictures of all the problems and showed them to me. Mr. Starr asked me if I wanted him to fix all the small problems and I said yes. He fixed them all and took pictures and showed them to me again. I was very pleased with this service.

I kept having problems and no one could figure it out. They came out and found the problem, let me know what it was, fixed it and I have not had any problems since. I would highly recommend them.

They are very good at what they do and they stand behind all their work. They are on time. They took care of all the related problems. They clean up themselves after the work.

We were very happy with Bordner Roofing, they were very thorough and conscientious, they explained everything. The clean up was done very well and they were very friendly.

I have waited almost a year to write this review because I wanted to make sure I had time to reflect on our experience. We had a hail storm in 2011 and decided to proceed with replacing our roof. After researching several roofing compaines, talking with friends and neighbors, reading reviews we were confident Bordner was the right way to go. They had a wonderful reputation. We were told there would be about a 3 month wait until our roof could be started because they were so busy. We were willing to wait for a quailty crew and product, so we were surprised when a few weeks later we were told our roof would be started. When it was finished we walked around our home in horror. Nails in the gutters, sloppy craftsmanship, tar dripping down the siding, shingles not lined up, just to name a few issues. It was a horrible job. The yard was full of nails which we werent aware until a few weeks later. We have small children and dogs. We were shocked that the supervisor did not see all of the problems when the work was being done or if he did nothing was said. We had to point these things out. They came out a fixed a few things but we didn't feel confident at all in the response. We heard later that this crew was pulled off of a job following ours and fired. Not sure if that is true or not but they should have been! We proceded to hire someone to do an independent roof inspection which revealed several problems. At this point after asking several times, we were put in touch with a general manager at Bordner who was resoponsive and willing to work with us. He gave us a discount and agreed to fix the problems and have our roof inspected every fall. That was nice but felt like pulling teeth to get to that point. This past fall they came out and found a significant portion of our roof with no roofing material under shingles. They did fix it, however, I can't help but wonder what other major problems will we have with our roofing system that haven't been identified. Looking back, Bordner should have removed our poorly done roof and replaced it with a new one with an experienced crew. That would have been the only thing that would have given us any peace of mind and would have prevented this review. My advice would be to make sure you know who the crew is, how long they have been working there and be in touch with a GM from the begining.

There were some problems. They subcontract and don't do the work themselves. The workers didn't speak English and they left the yard a mess. They had to come back and make even more repairs because it leaked worse than before. I would not use them again in the future.

It went very well. They came when they said they would, did the work we agreed to and left the area spotless. The workers took pride in their work and were experienced in their fields.

The roofing crew was prompt, courteous. Good job of cleaning up. Our house has a few little quirks that had to be worked around, such as a patio overhead that is attached to the roof. Bordner, and especially their job supervisor, worked with us to make sure that this special issue was handled just right. Also, we have had a long-standing leak in our bathroom, evidently left over from our previous roofer from quite a few years ago. The Bordner job supervisor noticed that we had had an issue there (without our telling him), and he assigned a maintenance man to tear out everything, reflash, and then reroof that particular area. Eldon Gutters was the subcontractor who installed the gutters. They worked promptly and efficiently. We had screens installed over the gutters, and they ran out on the last day (a Friday). They were going to come back out the next Monday morning with that last little piece, but did not do so. A phone call from us to Bordner was all that was needed to get that last little piece of gutter work done.

Prompt, efficient and professional. Understanding what was need and working with me on time frame. Team actually doing the work were knowledgeable and willing to explain what and why they were doing. Left home area, where work was being done, clean. One would not have known they were even there. Returned the next day to better match one tile. Outstanding. I wouldn't hesitate recommending them to anyone.

Overall I felt that they were very professional. I would use them in the future.

They were so outstanding that at the end of the day I wrote them a letter, commending them on their honesty, integrity, and professionalism. They were absolutely incredible. I had different quotes for the project, from $1,600 to almost $10,000. It was very frustrating. There were people, who wanted to rip up the front of the house just to fix just one area. When these guys came out, they did not have the lowest bid. However, they knew what they were doing and they were going to do it right. When the guy started working on the project, he knocked at my front door and told me that the damage was not as much as he thought it would be and that he would be decreasing my bid. They ended up cutting the bid in half and they did the work for $1,000. They completed the work in 4-5 hours and it was perfect. I could not have asked for anything more. The other reason I used them was because they do 15-16 different types of projects. So, the depth of the company is huge. So, if I want somebody to do painting, stucco, or wood rot work, I can go back to these people as opposed to finding 10 different companies that does one thing each. They were really amazing. They came out when they said they would come out and completed the work when they said they would finish. I would use them again in the future.

Bordner came out, said they found damage but refused to provide an estimate. Our insurance company requires an estimate from a roofer to have an adjuster come out for a re-inspection. We will call someone else.

12.31.12 -- Update to my previous post: One of the windows Bordner installed had a leak. The leak is now fixed. Ultimately, it was determined that the problem was with the window itself. I have to say that after the initial leak, Bordner came back, committed to make it right, and made it right -- with no additional cost to me. They came out several times over a course of months (we were in a drought, so there weren't too many opportunities to observe whether or not the most recent attempt at fixing it had worked or not.) They started by troubleshooting obvious things like caulking and flashing, when that didn't solve the problem they replaced some window gaskets, and when that didn't work they took the window out and replaced it with a new one. That appears to have fixed the problem. I will absolutely give future business to Bordner. Every company, every carpenter, is occassionally going to run into a problem. What separates the really good ones from the average and the bad is that the really good ones stand by their work. Bordner did that and they were extremely professional and considerate throughout the process -- and ultimately, when it proved to be a manufacturing defect in the window itself -- they made it right. I doubt they made much, if any, margin on this job, given the hours they spent trying to troubleshoot and fix a problem that ultimately proved not to have been caused by them. However, they will get future business from me, my family and my friends, because they proved to be trustworthy and professional the entire time. This kind of follow-up and customer service is rare these days, and for that reason I highly recommend Bordner for any home improvement project.

Everything went well. Bordner has been in the area for quite some time, does great work, and uses its own employees for the job.

We were referred to Bordner Stucco by our insurance company after our house was severely damaged by the hail storm in April 2011. I was contacted by a Bordner representative within the hour of my initial call to the company and was met on-site by the salesperson the next day. A very thorough inspection of the hail damage to the house was done by Bordner and a detailed bid with all pricing, services and warranties clearly listed was provided to me the next week. Our insurance adjuster agreed that all of the existing stucco should be removed and replaced however, several items were either missed or overlooked on the adjuster?s loss summary which resulted in a very low settlement amount to us. Allen Hunter at Bordner Stucco contacted our insurance company and scheduled an on-site meeting with another adjuster. A few hours after the meeting, we were informed by the adjuster that because of Allen?s assistance, she was able to make the necessary adjustments to our claim and would be issuing us a substantial supplemental payment to cover all the repairs. I am certain the reason our insurance company was willing to make those adjustments, and make them so quickly, was a direct result of Allen?s stucco expertise and knowledge. When construction got underway, we couldn't help being impressed by how well each phase of the project was coordinated. Each crew showed up on time, to the time they said they would start, and at the end of each day, they removed all debris and cleaned up the job site. The job supervisor, Shaun Hanson, would stop by at least once a day when a crew was working to not only inspect the work being done, but also check with us as to any questions or concerns we might have. Everyone working on this job showed the highest level of respect and care for us and our house. Their attention to detail and workmanship is without question, the best out there. All of my neighbors and I are blown away at how amazing our house looks now! Because of our positive experience, we?ve referred Bordner to several people, and will continue to do so. In fact, we recently contracted with them to do the stucco and stone work on our outdoor lanai next month. I can honestly say, if you have a stucco or stone project, it would be a mistake not to use Bordner Stucco.

They started on time and finished as promised.

I wanted them to get back to me in a more timely manner so we could get on the schedule. If they were more prompt I would have paid the extra $2500 based on their reputation but I could not wait for a few more weeks to find out the cost and time to get the job done.

Fabulous...Even though this was a very busy time for repairs, Bordner was responsive the next day. Our roof was checked for leaks and was tarped to prevent further damage. The next week, another gentleman arrived, checked the roof, and provided the estimate. Repairs were completed within two weeks. The price was VERY reasonable, the technicians were professional, and their honesty was apparent.

. They quoted $20000. I have a large roof. They were very professional. They had information about the other roofs that they had done in the area. They gave quotes for different types of roofs. They were not in a hurry and they answered all my questions. They did a very professional job on the quote. They were on time, very courteous and informative. I am considering them for the job but I have not made up my mind.
