Their sales agent was friendly and professional. He took the time to closely examine the house and our wood rot issues. He did a good job explaining the window options to us. In the end, their estimate was over our budget, so we went with someone else (who did an excellent job).

Went very well. It took them a while to start the job after we signed the contract, but once they started it was pretty quick and as painless as possible.

There were many players from Bordner involved in our exterior remodeling project. First was our consultant, Tom. We love this guy. He is very experienced, professional, and down to earth. A normal fun guy who explained all of our options in detail without sales pressure. He knows his products and the installation processes well and was available through our entire project. He delivered our estimate in a timely manner and never pressured us to sign a contract. You will want the guy to stay for dinner. Next were the siding installers and the on-site manager, Colby. When you call Colby, he answers his phone or returns your calls promptly. He supervised the siding installers who really did a nice job installing our cement fiber siding and building custom shutters for the front of our house. The installers were polite and answered any questions we had and addressed all concerns. They obviously have been doing this for a long time. They found an issue with our chimney that was reported to Colby who promptly explained and provided an estimate for its repair. Bordner has a roofing division that did the work. Cleanup of debris was as if they had never been there. Cement fiber siding is painted and the painters were amazing. They also installed the shutters after they were painted. We have rock and plants around the exterior of our house and couldn't believe how they painted all the way down to the rock on the foundation without any trace of paint where it should not have been. Highly skilled. Their on-site supervisor, Jesse, was very helpful and informative. Colby also checked the job often and made sure everything was going according to schedule. We also had our guttering replaced and new garage doors installed. These were subcontracted. Both were done perfectly and as scheduled. When all of the project was completed, any minor items we requested were fixed and addressed by Colby. Our overall opinion of Bordner Installation Group is that you will not find a more responsive team who has such pride in their work and customer service. We had worked with another more local siding company simply to side our chimney about a year ago and their customer service was pitiful. That's when we signed up with Angie's list and found Bordner. Bordner Installation Group has exceeded our expectations in every category. We give them the highest of praise and would recommend them to family and friends. Last but not least, we are confident that the materials that Bordner chooses to carry are very high quality and warranted to last. We appreciate the fact that our home exterior should last for many years going forward.

We selected Bornder's after getting estimates from them and 2 other companies on Angie's LIst We selected Bordner's based on their attention to detail, the ability to choose between either CertainTeed or James Hardie siding for the same price, the ability to replace all the siding on the house wfith lap siding (3 sides of our house were batten board) at no extra charge, and the trim material which they recommended. We had also used them about 10 years before to re-roof our house and were pleased with that project as well. However, the prior project was only one of the factors we considered. The project went VERY WELL! We dealt with 3 people from Bordner's during the project. Jeff was the person who came out and gave us the estimate. He was very knowledgeable and thorough and paid a lot of attention to details we might have missed Chris did our scheduling and he was very responsive to our needs and flexible. Rob was the project supervisor. Rob was wonderful. He came by every day and always answered our questions to our satisfaction. Rob was also available by cell and email. When we had a phone problem, I called Rob and he was at the house within minutes, then had a service person come out. They spent over an hour locating the problem and trying to resolve it before calling the phone company. The issue was fixed by the phone company. We also had a problem with the Sherwin-Willimas paint store that had nothing to do with Bordner's. In fact, had it not been for the painters who were contracted by Bordner's, it would have been much worse! All three of the men we dealt with from Bordner's were very professional and customer-service oriented. I can honestly say they made us feel like we were the only project they had to do, which, I am sure, was not the case! All of the work crew on the siding project worked hard every day and the project went as quickly as I think it could and still be done carefully and correctly. The lead person on the project crew was a man named Caesar and he was responsive to any questions I had as well as to anything Rob The painting was done by C&R painting (as a subcontractor for Bordner's) and I can't say enough good things about them. Monika and Remy were so progressional and clearly very experienced. Monika was the one that caught the error by the Sherwin-Williams paint store and got that corrected. Monika has a great eye for detail and gave us excellent suggestions about painting the trim and placing our house numbers. They were kind enough to put up the new house numbers as well as new outside lights. They were also very accommodating (as was Bordner's) when we added a couple of small painting jobs that we had not thought about before (our front door and the railings along the front steps). As our project concluded, we took pictures of anything we had questions about and made a "punch list" of these items and shared them with Rob. He was very glad to have this and everything on that list was addressed in a timely manner and to our satisfaction. Projects such as this are a big undertaking and, of course, a huge expense. I would tell anyone considering such a project like this to (of course) get 3 or 4 estimates from reputable companies before deciding which one would best meet your needs. I have no hesitation in recommending Bordner's as one of the companies you should talk with and seriously consider. Once you have chosen your company, I really think a key thing in making your project smooth and successful is communication. Try to think about the details ahead of time and communicate your needs. Use pictures. Use the "punch list" BEFORE the project is concluded. I found the people I dealt with at Bordner's to be very appreciative of my communications and feel they also were great communicators with me. I have had a follow-up communication from Jeff, the man who did our estimate, and I am looking forward to having him come out to see the finished result!

Bordner was the only company that had the product I wanted but the prices were very high. The prices were not out of line for the product but out of my budget for outside home improvements. I was very interested in their stucco options until they explained they apply stucco is small sections and piece the sections together because this way if the stucco cracks, it can be replaced in smaller sections. As soon as I heard about the stucco's cracking probability, I decided that was not the product for me. Bordner was the only company I found with the best choice for cement board. It was the highest quality, the most beautiful and had the best guarantee. The only reason I did not use Bordner was because a local real estate agent informed me that if I invested $22K + to outside home improvements, that I would not be able to recoup the improvement costs in the sale of my home. The only value it added to the sale of a home was curb appeal which increases a faster sale of property. I decided to perform wood rot repair & painting instead for a third of the cost of new cement board siding. If I win the lotto, I'll definitely call Bordner to install cement siding. My only other concern was my salesman took a long time in getting me my bids. Instead of emailing them to me, he insisted on delivering them in person, then he didn't have them formally written up, he game them to me verbally from notes and measurements he took on prior visits and then took an additional week to email the final written bids to me. I have had Bordner do roof repairs in the past and always had excellent service so I would hope this was not indicative of the delivery of product and installation when making such a large purchase with them. I would/will use Bordner in the future. Hope this helps someone.

The chimney repair person came when scheduled, completed the job and cleaned up. The chimneys look great and I expect they will last for many years.

They were not the cheapest, but they did a good job. The installers were professional, and cleaned up after themselves. We also asked them to coordinate the timing of the siding replacement with another company that we had hired to replace some windows, and they made that all work seamlessly. I believe they subcontracted out the delivery of the materials, and the subcontractors took about a week to pick up the left-over materials, but that wasn't a big deal to us. Overall, I would hire them again.

The estimator was very prompt and thorough. He gave me the estimate at that time. I agreed to have the work done and they came back within about 10 days to do the repairs. The only problem I had was finding out from the supervisor what day they would be back (the estimator didn't handle that part). They were always very courteous on the phone and called me after the installation to make sure I was satisfied. I would definitely use them again.

I have had people, and contractors tell me that the quality of stucco looks like they've only seen in subdivisions where the homes cost a million dollars. Very high quality. The project manager referred to the job as "my stucco".

We are extremely pleased with Bordner and they are our go to company from now on for any work related to doors, windows, roofs and siding. The work was completed in a timely, professional manner. The quality of materials was excellent. We can't say enough good things about the installers who were professional and very friendly. One installer even stayed late to add a coat of primer to the window. Phone calls were always returned within twenty-four hours, many times earlier. The customer truly matters with this company and is always treated with the upmost consideration. We would highly recommend Bordner to anyone.

The service went well, I am using them again

He was pleasant enough, but was not very knowledgeable about the roof repair and like to push the high dollar items. As part of the sales pitch, he was insisting on coming back to the house with the estimate and samples the following week. We asked for the estimate to be sent via email and after requesting that several time he did send it via email. I would have preferred to see samples at the time of the estimate and to have the written estimate sent in an email. I didn't need to meet a second time with him unless I was going to select his services.

They were very professional, answered all my questions, came out to my house twice to answer additional questions and their prices were reasonable. I felt like if I had a problem I could get a hold of them. They were a lot closer to us in location. The salesman was from here, had references, and places for me to go look at the work. Everything about the process was good.

They did a perfect job! They were wonderful. I had a small misunderstanding with them after it was all over. However, I would still use them again.

The work turned out great. They are competitive on price. They came back for post-installation repair work. The roof did leak several times and they came back and fixed it. The leaks caused damage to the paint on the inside and they repaired that as well. They were always responsive and careful with getting the job done properly. They followed through after the work was done.

The work was excellent! We are very happy with it. We had a problem with one of the windows where it was sticky and they came right out and fixed it.

We previously hired them for a roof repair, so we hired them for the installation of the new roof. We were surprised when they hired a subcontractor for the work. They were the highest price on the block. They were very professional and punctual. We had some issues with some venting that wasn’t done properly on the roof and they had to come back and repair it. They completed the repair and we are still having leaks. All in all, they did a great job. They had twelve guys out here and they were done in two days. I did have concerns about how they worked around the venting. We are going to have to call them again to have them complete another repair.

Process went smoothly. Installers were friendly and glad to answer my questions during the installation process. They cleaned up at the end of the day and after installation was complete. Their field foreman, who oversaw ongoing installations in the area, came by everyday to assist the installers as needed. He always came to me first to see if I had any questions. He also made recommendations regarding build of trim for the windows.

They were really easy to work with. They always kept us in the loop with whatever was going on. They were very patient and understanding. They did great work. They were very professional.

An estimate was given the previous week. Leak in roof was repaired. Honest, polite and respectfull roofer did the work. Good cleanup afterwards. We could not be more pleased with Bordner.
