Description of Work: Bordner's repaired a leak in my roof, extended some gutters, and installed gutter screens. The workers were very professional and completed the job quickly. I would hire them again.

Description of Work: They did patch work for us. They were able to fix it when no one else was able to figure out what the problem was.

Description of Work: I hired this company to tear out and replace a small section of stucco. They were responsive with the bid and getting the project started in a promised and timely manner. I was not impressed how when you call you are transferred to different departments and have to leave messages that are not responded to the same day. The company seems large and not well organized in that manner. The guy that actually did the stucco job does very nice work. I was happy with the blending of the stucco and the finished project. All the above being said, I would not hire this company again for a couple of reasons. The guy that bid the job just told me the stucco would be painted "later" after it dried. I've had stucco work done before and have been told to wait 4-6wks for the stucco to cure and prevent paint failure/peeling. Three days after the stucco work was done, Bordner called and wanted to come out and paint. I looked at the stucco and it was still visibly wet in places. I told them they could not come out for 4weeks. They threw a fit. First, they told me that it wasn't about the money. (Though it was.) Then, I was transferred to a manager. He told me that "their" stucco cures in 5-7 days. Maybe it does. Maybe it doesn't. I reminded him that it had not been 5-7 days, so they weren't even following their own guidelines. He got very quiet and then told me he would be sending me an invoice. I told him I would pay half now and the rest at job completion. He begrudgingly agreed and then sent me a bill for the total. Great customer service, huh? Anyway, the workmanship is good, but the management is not. Hire at your own risk.

Description of Work: We had hail damamge in the April storm. I need a roof, gutters, vents and siding. I have been trying to a correct contract written for 2 months! The salesman never responds. The first contract I received did not inclued removing 2 roofs, only one. ( How do you remove just 1 of 2 roofs?) The second contract had both roofs on it but no guttering. Then the salesman told me to call the guttering service myself...........It would save me money. I told him I wanted everything on 1 contract. Last month he told me he would email me the new contract "tomorrow". Never heard from him again. He was also to send out the siding people. They have never shown up or called either. I won't be calling them again.

Description of Work: I had used Bordner 2 years ago to do some roof repairs-I had been very impressed with everyone at the company. So when the big hail storm hit this year I called Bordner to come out. They were overwhelmed with calls so my ins adjustor got here first and claimed that I only had $2,000 worth of damage to my wood shake roof. When Bordner got here about a week later they said the front of my roof was destroyed and that the whole roof should be replaced. I started working through the channels with my ins co and was told I would have to go through a very lengthy arbitration process to fight their adjustors decision. My Bordner rep-Zach was amazing-he sent emails to my agent and faxed bids to the catastrophe division at my ins co. What finally made the difference- he had a very strong conversation with my adjustor-and got him to admit that mine was the first wood roof that he had looked at when he came to town after the storm and now that he had looked at 500 roofs- mine really was in need of replacement. Zach met with me multiple times during the process and was very reassuring that he was going to help me get my roof replaced. They told me the new roof would be installed mid-to late June. Their scheduler called me one evening and said they would there in 2 days. This was the beginning of June, which was before they promised! The installation went well and they cleaned up every night, even using a magnet that was rolled all over the yard near the house and the driveway to get any nails. I did not have to shut off my AC during the processs as some of my friends did with other roofers. They built a protective tent of wood over my AC unit to protect it and allow it to be on during the 90 degree weather. About twice a day my supervisor Colby would stop by to get on the roof to inspect the work as well as check with me as to any questions. He was very knowlegable and very nice and easy going. I highly recommend Bordner as they are HONEST, do great work, and really CARE about their customers . That is a hard combination to find these days

Description of Work: Two layers of old roofing had to be removed. Upon finding a lot of rotten wood, numerous places needed to be replaced then new roofing was installed.

Description of Work: I asked them to come out to fix a small roof leak. The man came and fixed it, free of charge. The leak came after 8'' of rain and it was near a ventilation( fresh air) pipe. I do not know the correct name for the pipe.
