Better than we ever imagined. Completed in 1 day - wonderful

I contacted home depot to get a quote on all windows to be replaced and was given a quote of approximately 19,000 and the I contacted window world and Jack a sales rep came out to to bid the job and did so at almost half of the price of home depot during the time jack was here we had another window company come out and once they saw Jack they said sorry that they couldn't compete with window world and left with out even attempting to give a bid on the job. during Jacks visit he educated us on the different types of windows the operation of the windows we were looking at getting and helped us reduce the number of windows we were getting in our house by eliminatng 3 windows side by side and placing either a picture window in its place or a sliding window in. we did this in 5 different locations which in the end made it to where instead of having 14 windows on our enclosed sun porch we now have 5 which saved us a lot of money and improved the look of the house dramatically. he was very friendly and answered all of our questions and unlike home depot we were not feeling as though he was trying to pressure us into buying the windows. on the day of installation I was contacted by the installers letting me know that they were on their way , they showed up on time as promised got things prepped and went to work right away, they were quick efficient, courteous, polite, and above all very professional they cleaned as they went along and once the job was over keeping messes to a minimum. Jack the sales rep had quoted this to be a two day job and for the most part turned out to be a one day job. the only thing that went wrong was one of the windows was the wrong size or the job would have been done today. but I am very satisfied with window world and would use them again should I need to and I highly commend them as well.

They have good selections of windows to choose from. Their work was absolutely perfect. I was very impressed with their job. I think there were 5 people who did the job. Most of the work was done outside the house and they asked permission whenever they needed to enter the house. Their work was clean. The windows did not have any dirt and fingerprints after. They also explained to me the proper care and cleaning of the windows. The job was done in one day and it was incredible. They were professional and showed up on time. The windows made a major difference in our house.

They were prompt and they replaced the windows in a good amount of time. They cleaned up after themselves.

Experience was great! They brought a dumpster and cleaned up the mess. Hauled away all old windows and rotted wood at no extra cost. Service was completed in one day.

1st installation was canceled by installer . Did a good job when they showed up on a different day. They need more customer empathy when it comes to scheduling. Had to have a little more service and felt that I was imposing on the instaers time. it was more than a week for a 5 minute adjustment. Product does the JobHad a window I could not lock. I was less impressed with the salesman than with the people who did the installation. He came and did the demo just fine, but I'm not sure he measured right. He also didn't mention the possibility of doing a couple of other windows and our sliding glass door. That was left to a competitor, from whom I also got a quote. Then we decided to do all the windows, and there was some confusion about whether they should be measured separately. I'm not entirely sure what happened, but when the installation people arrived (a bit late, and without the best communication), they seemed puzzled about something. But they got it figured out and the installation went very smoothly. They were polite and cleaned up after themselves and seemed willing to answer any questions I had. All in all, we're very pleased with the quality for the price, and would recommend Window World to anyone.

It was a wonderful experience. The price was right. The work was done beautifully and I love the windows. I upgraded to get the argon gas in-between the panes to make them energy star windows; that was around $50 per window. They did cost what they said they would cost. I did get an Angie's List discount and a senior discount. I was very, very pleased with them. I would like to get some more windows with them.

The salesman came out and gave me an estimate to pull out 6 basement windows from my 90+ yr old house and replace them with vinyl slide daylight windows. The price was much better than I was expecting so I agreed to proceed while he was there and he went ahead and took the measurements. He measured them all 3 times and went over the process of removal and installation. He said it would probably be about 4 weeks until the windows came in and that someone would call me. I called them at 4 weeks because I was anxious to get some windows that weren't broken into the house I'd just purchased and moved into. The windows were in and I wondered why no one called to tell me this, but whatever. Install was scheduled quickly and even though we had a huge snowstorm the day before, the installers showed up on time. It was a man/woman team and they covered all my floors and put up caution tape around the house and took every precaution to make sure everything was kept clean and safe. When they were done, we walked around and checked all the windows. He showed me where he filled in gaps with caulk and insulation and he also showed me areas outside where I would need to think about getting some mortar filled in around the stones within the next year or so. I'm very pleased with the work and the product and will definitely call them again if I need any other windows.

The initial consultation with Scott was very thorough. He measured the window, went over their product, and provided me with the cost to replace our broken window. He let me know about the quality of their products and what all they offer but did not try to push me into making a larger purchase than I had originally inquired about, which I appreciate it and makes me want to work with them in the future when we are ready for additional windows. The estimate he gave me was exactly what I paid and he explained the process very thoroughly. The window installation itself was quick and easy and the window looks great. The office staff was very responsive and worked with me as they were able to on receiving an earlier installation date to work about my schedule. I was very pleased with the entire experience.

They were short on staff, so a project that should have bee done in an afternoon took 2 days. other than that I was pleased with the service and would use them again

They arrived on time . the installer did a great job and cleaned up inside & outside . the windows look great,they work well.

Workmen arrived on time, did all the replacements, and cleaned up afterwards. They missed a few places caulking and had to replace 2 window wraps due to the angle of installation that did not allow water to drain away from the window. They promptly sent someone to remedy this without any trouble. No problems with the windows since, and they seem to be doing a good job. We'd use Window World again.

House was for sale. We needed to replace a window. The salesman was straightforward and made a suggestion that ultimately gave us a better look and one that was less expensive than we expected. They came and measured when they said they would. The window took longer than expected but it was a special order. Where these folks really excelled was in the installation. I think they used an outside contractor, and these guys did a fantastic job! I would definitely use this outfit again

We looked at several companies, including the one who installed the rest of our windows in our house (which are all triple pane). We would have preferred triple pane on the sliding door as well, but due to its size the cost was very expensive. Window World did not offer triple pane, and their double-pane price was about 1/3 less than their closest competitor. My parents-in-law have also used Window World and were pleased so we went with them. The installer was punctual and very friendly. He got the job done, and even made a good adjustment for us. The door is a double-door, with the doors sliding away from each other. The center was manufactured to be a fixed post in the middle of the door, but he adjusted it so the locking mechanism would be fastened to one of the doors, leaving the whole space open in the middle. Our only complaint is that the door is a little hard to lock. We have to close it hard and hold it shut tightly while we lock it. The babysitter, for example, was not able to get the door locked. In every other way we were very pleased with the service and would recommend them.

The salesperson was wonderful. The crew was great, I would have given an A except for two things...We were told the wooden blinds we had hanging in our old windows would fit in the new window. They would have if the crew would have moved the window back towards the outside. They scooted the window more inside so it no longer had the ledge, which left extra room on the ledge outside, and no room to hang the blind on the inside ledge. They also left alot of saw dust that I had to clean up. Outside of that the windows are great, the service was good, and we have now have no drafts!

Well, I did get an Angies List discount. The salesman came out on 5/27/2013. It appeared he knew doors and sizes. I was told that the door should be ready for installation in early October. Also, that someone else had to come out and take exact measurements. Well, okay. (Unfortunately, the existing door- full window- was completely cracked in frame, it just hadn't fallen out - so if you need a door right away, don't use Window World). So, the measurements were taken.On or about 10/15/2013, I called Window World and asked about the new door. Well, still not in, but once received, it would have to be 'scheduled' for installation. So, on Friday, 10/25/2013, the installers arrive with the door, only no door knob or locking bolt. They wanted to install the door and put the old hardware on and then later (?) they would come out and change out the locking hardware. Nope. So, a NEW crew shows up on Monday, 10/28/2013. One installer and two assistants (I paid $50.00 extra for these assistants). I realize new workers have to learn some way, but their assistance was marginal to the installer. Now I use the word 'installer' because these are not finish carpenters. Final adjustment to the door dead bolt was hitting the jam with a hammer and small crowbar (so much for the fine measurements) Window World is like McDonald's. The hamburgers are okay and usually consistent, but they aren't going to win at the County Fair. They're average, if you like average, use Window World. 12/20/2013: Update: I used the 'pink' copy of my Contract to make the report above, The update is that the Salesman met with me and I placed the order on 08/27/2013. Secondly, because it was a 'pink' copy, it appeared that $50.00 was assessed for Extra Labor. Actually, that amount was the Angies List discount. To Window Worlds credit, they wanted to clarify these issues, and rightfully so. My apology to Window World.

They were prompt, professional and prices by comparison were low to reasonable. No issues and they cleaned up after themselves. Very nice workers too.

It went well. Very pleased with the finished installation. Good attention to detail and stayed with the job until nearly 7 pm to get it done that night. Will use them again.

They did a fine job, the details could have been a little better, but overall it was fine.

It started with the Salesman Jack Baldridge in order to get an estimate on replacing 10 of the existing windows in my 110 year old home. Jack arrived on time and presented professionally. Initially, I had planned to replace 6 windows in my mud room, 1 in the kitchen and 1 window in the 1st floor bathroom. All were louvred windows (jalousie) that were incredibly leaky. Ultimately, I decided to get 10 windows; 3 at the bay window, 2 in my living room, 3 in my dining room, 1 in the kitchen and 1 in the 1st floor bathroom. I just made sense to replace windows in the rooms that I spent most of my time. Jack measured all 10 windows and wrote up the order. Additionally, I added the woodgrain interior to 8 of the windows; the Solarzone Elite (argon gas feature) to all windows, Colonial grids to the 3 windows in the dining room and obscure glass to the bathroom window. I scheduled the appointment for Tuesday, 11/19. Five guys showed up to replace 10 windows. Here's what blew me away; the taped plastic to the interior windows and took out all the old windows and replaced them within 2 1/2 hours. They were professional, polite, sealed any leaks around the windows and cleaned up after themselves. I was able to salvage some windows for later craft projects or sell them. They also showed me how to operate my new windows. I felt an immediate difference in the temperature in my home! I'll will use them again to replace the other 38 windows in my house over time! I could not be any happier!!!!
