They were very efficient. All windows in our rental house were removed and replaced with new windows in one day. All old siding was removed and replaced with vinyl siding on the second day. In two days the entire job was complete. Amazing when it was very cold outside in December. The salesman was awesome. Any time we had a question or problem, we could call him and he always took care of it. They were also very responsive and followed up with any issues. A couple of the windows had moisture issues in the winter months and they came back and checked the seals and fixed them. We have not had any problems since. We would highly recommend them.

The sales associate was very professional and knowledgeable about windows and doors. When i emailed him to let him know we chose them, he called back pretty quickly on a Saturday and came by in a couple hours to do the paperwork. The installation went well and the workers were professional and courteous. We did find a tear in one screen a day later. They responded quickly to repair it and the field supervisor found another install issue when assessing the screens, that was not done to "the standards of Window World". They fixed this issue the following week. Overall a fine process and we are enjoying the new windows, which make the house look much better from the street.

I called Window World to replace some old bathroom windows in our home that were leaky and transparent. The sales representative arrived on time for the appointment. Upon entering my home, he said, "What are we doing?" There was no introduction, no explanation of service options, no choices for window selection, just...nothing. I took the sales representative to my two bathrooms and explained that I would like the windows to be similar in style to the windows in the rest of our house. He said okay and suggested that we also add a finish to the window that would obscure the view because they were in the bathroom. He began an estimate and calculated the price to be in the neighborhood of $900.00. When I explained to the sales representative that he (the exact same sales representative) had come to my home a year prior and given me a written estimate for the same window installation at $800.00, he quickly recalculated the bid to the original price quote. Nice? I guess, but not terribly honest either. The windows took approximately three weeks to arrive. I am a high school teacher and, as such, am not available for the two installation windows they provided (8-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m., respectively). Most service providers are accommodating to my unique situation, but when I spoke to the manager, he insisted there was nothing he could do except to provide an install date on a Saturday more than a month away. I countered by saying that I could be home as early as 2.30 p.m., but he refused and said that would be an impossibility. As a result, my husband, who works out of town, had to make plans to be available to a three hour window by taking off work. When I arrived home on the day of installation, I noticed there were two technicians. One gentleman was installing the bathroom windows on the side of our home. The other was leaning against the railing on my front porch texting on his phone. When I approached my front door, I asked him if he was one of the install technicians and he said, "Yes," and quickly moved to the side of the house where the other technician was working. When the technician(s?) completed the installation, one gentleman came back into the house to ask for payment. He asked me to sign several forms indicating that I had been shown the installation of the windows and explained about the different features of the windows I had purchased. As no one had made any effort to explain any of these things to me, I refused to sign the paperwork or to provide payment. The technician then took me to the windows and showed me that they were actually pretty neat windows that, had I not asked to have a demonstration, I would not have realized otherwise. I then agreed to sign the paperwork and provided the remaining balance due. The paper work asked if I would recommend their company and service, and when I indicated "no" on my form, I explained my situation with the salesman, the manager, etc. The technician then told me that the sales representatives carry around binders which include window styles, finishes, etc. and that they also are supposed to bring in a sample of the window to show an example during the initial appointment. My sales representative did not have any of these when coming for the estimate appointment. Further, when I explained my frustration about setting up the installation appointment, the technician told me that it would have been extremely easy to accommodate my situation because the job was small (two windows) and only took about an hour to complete. He told me he would have been happy to put me at the end of the route so that my husband didn't have to take off work, but alas, the damage was already done. The windows are of a good quality and come with a lifetime warranty which is a nice benefit. However, because the representatives of the company were so difficult to work with, I will not use them again in the future or recommend them to anyone I know.

The sales process, the windows and the installation went great. We had quotes from 6 different providers for the same kind of windows. The quotes ranged from $12,300 to $39,000. The next closest bid was $23,000. They would take the blinds down and put them back up, but I knew I could do that - especially for $8,700 extra!! Jack, the salesman and owner, came to our house. He was very professional and told us some things about what to expect with the installation that none of the other companies had told us. They sent a crew out of about 10 people. They were very professional and conscientious about their work. They cleaned up everything in the yard and the house very well. They also asked questions about how we wanted the trim, etc. instead of just doing what they wanted to do. They got all 28 windows installed in the same day. Of the 6 companies we interviewed, Window World was the only one that supplied references, and they supplied about 100 as part of their initial sales packet. The people I called had very good things to say. Some of the other companies eventually gave us names to call, some just gave us an address, and some refused saying they couldn't because of "privacy issues", which doesn't make sense for a referral. The windows work well and look great. I'm glad I chose Window World.

We called Window World for estimate on replacing 10 windows in our home. Sales rep came out a few days later and gave us a list of options. They were low pressure and gave options to save money and full replacement. We pick the type of windows we wanted and they came out a second time to measure. Come install their crew was very hard working and professional. They worked from 11 am to 6:30 pm and finished the job, cleaned up was great and the work looks great. We had a large bay replace that took most of the time to replace. All and all from start to finish they are top notch. We will us them again when we replace the rest of our windows and gutters.

They put it all in one day. They cleaned up everything. They were very good at doing it all and we were very pleased with the windows. They seem to be good windows. They've been in place 2 or 3 years and I think they've helped the energy bills. The salesman came to our house and he was pleasant and went through it all with us. We had already looked at others. Window world was about half the cost and we were very happy with it.

It all went well. I fully expected to have to buy new windows but the representative checked the windows we had and said they did not need to be replaced. Imagine my surprise at that statement. He checked my windows and found that a couple of them were not closing properly and closed them and showed us how to do it ourselves. Then gave us a referral for some handyman work we also need to have done. Very pleased with his service.
Description of Work: Michael Looney came out to show us Window World's selection of replacement windows. Before he got into his sales pitch, he checked the windows to see what type we had. He found that we really did not need new replacement windows. So, he checked to see why our windows were letting air thru and found they were not totally shut at the top. He was very professional and nice. He even recommended someone who could do handyman help for us. I really liked him a lot.

I?m happy with the results but there were some flaws. It took longer than they said it was going to take and that was just one major thing(Christmas delays on getting windows). The people they used to install it had made a couple of mistakes(trash left on premises). I would give them a 4 out of a 5 rating. Update: After initial B review, I got a call asking how they could fix any issues, I was refunded some of the cost for cleanup charges, and one minor screen issue was fixed. I'm upgrading this to an A.

It went smoothly, but it took them a while to get the product down for the install. Plus Christmas had them delay the installation. They got it installed well, the guy was really nice, they did have to come back out to look at the screens because they weren't in position correctly, they were on time and if there was a problem I could call them back. The ycame out a week and a half after I scheduled them and I spent about $1750.

I LOVE MY REPLACEMENT WINDOWS AND SLIDING GLASS DOOR! Their overall time management is terrible. When the original call came in to say the windows were in and ready to be installed, a date and time was scheduled. The scheduled date was December 17th and I was told to expect the installers to arrive between 8 to 10. I took the day off from work. Then I received a call telling me to expect them between 9 -11. Since I had already scheduled another repair/maintenance I was not able to change my vacation request. I got another call stating that they would arrive between 11 - 1. They arrived closer to 1:00. They were not able to finish that day and I was told about 6:30 pm that they would need to return the next day (Dec 18th). I had to call my job the next morning to let them know that I needed to extend my vacation leave request. When they installed the patio doors the correct trimming was not included with the doors and they had to trim and temporarily apply what they had been given. We had to reschedule a different time for them to come to install the correct trim. It was originally scheduled on a Saturday. I had received numerous calls to reschedule the time for that day. Finally, I was called and told because the weather was getting bad they were not able to make it at all. So a Saturday morning was wasted waiting. One day I got a call that they were in the area and was able to meet me to install the trim. I missed a business lunch to meet with them to take care of the trim. When I was hanging up the curtains on the patio door I noticed the streaks on the inside of both panels of the patio door. I again had to schedule vacation time (February 12) to meet the installers to replace the patio door panels. I took time off that morning from work because they were scheduled to arrive between 8 and 10. I got a call about 9:30 to say they were about an 1 1/2 hrs out but would get there ASAP. They actually arrived a little after 10. Once the panels were installed and the trim put back on it was a little after 11. Luckily I was able to make it to work by noon. That weekend I noticed there were cracks and pieces missing on the door trim they replaced so I called and sent a picture of the problem to Window World. They had someone come out 4 different times before they got the right piece ordered and replaced. Window World did call several times to apologize and to make sure I wasn't too inconvenienced. After they got the correct piece order and the door fixed they haven't called or make any contact with me.

Our Sales Rep was kind and informative. He came out on July 12, 2014 to give us a demonstration and estimate. We ordered 11 windows on July 29, 2014 we have 15 windows but wanted to keep this project under 4K but there was no pressure to get the four windows we left out. We did have a bit of an issue with the timeliness of getting our windows in. We expected it to be six weeks at the most. So we scheduled our new carpet for eight weeks out September 22, 2014. Our windows didn't arrive until September 17th. After speaking to a manager about my situation they agreed to install on Friday September 19th. They were set to arrive between 10am-1pm. The crew arrived at 2pm unapologetic. Once they started working they were fairly quick although they cuss like sailors and smoke as they work. Another crew came to assist. They are about done now and should be completed in 30 minutes if they don't get distracted. But they did ruin my 5 o'clock plans. :(

I already knew I was going to use Window World when I called them to come give me a estimate. Jay Leach came out and we went over was I was expecting. Jay gave me an estimate with was lower than all the other estimates I received, especially when I had to order a special half-moon window. Jay did not try and sell me anything extra. We talked about exactly what I needed and I liked that. They came out exactly when scheduled, installed the windows and cleaned up their mess. Even painted around edges to make it look seamless with existing trim. Really looks nice. I was very happy with my experience with Window World and would recommend them to everyone.

Basically we were VERY DISAPPOINTED in the workmanship of installers. We picked Window World because we wanted a medium priced alternative to replace windows in our 60's house and also because Angie's list rated them high on installation. Workers were polite and cleaned up after themselves, but after we started looking closely there were horrible problems with the installation. We had quarter inch gaps in the trim boards around the inside of windows where the boards had been ,knocked loose in taking out the old windows. Trim boards were loose and installers had not renailed or caulked around them. Plus in bathroom areas where we had casement windows installed the caulking on inside (which is very visible) was uneven and rough. We called the company back and a week later they came back to fix what hadn't been done. They did get the loose boards and forgotten caulking done. The bathroom caulking looks better but is still rough. We haven't been able to sand it and paint because it is the flexile type of caulking that is rubbery. Again -- we are disappointed, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Excellent. Did exactly as promised. I used this company before about about 10 years ago in another house. So I was familiar with the windows and their work. The only difference this time was related to an apparent rule from the EPA (or OSHA) about removing windows that might have lead paint. The salesman made it sound like a big deal and that it was ridiculous that the Government made them take precautions (evil big government comment) but I thought it was great that they were taking precautions (also probably should make evil government comments to someone who is a government employee ;-)). They did a great job. Promised that windows would be cleaned when installed and had to be reminded but they took care of it. I love my new windows!

I was very happy with both the demonstration by the sales rep, and the installation. The sales person was nice and not at all pushy about the product or upgrading to additional features. I knew what I wanted in the windows, and the upgrades were purely my choice. It was really a demonstration of the product, without any type of sales pitch, which I appreciated. The windows are strong, well-built, and even the screens are very heavy duty - you can't bend the frames on them - even with force. I did several upgrades to the windows I selected, but not because there was anything wrong with the standard window. I wanted the panes because they were on the front of the house. I got the argon gas because the sun beats down in the summer on that side of the house, and that heat doesn't transfer through the gas, which is amazing. I also upgraded the frame of the window because I liked that it had a little more bulk to it. I am confident it wasn't necessary, but I wanted the best on these windows because they are on the second story, and it is harder to cool in the summer. The installation was great. The installer was professional, and took time to do the job right. I didn't feel like he was there to just slap them in and leave. I could tell he was conscientious about doing a good job, and the windows look beautiful! It couldn't have gone better, and I am glad to have someone doing work in my home that has pride in their work! It is hard to find that these days. He was very nice and I really feel like I got my moneys worth with the installation job. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. I will be back next year for more windows!!

Really pleased with the professionalism.
Description of Work: A representative arrived on time, with a dummy window for demonstration purposes, and provided an estimate for all new windows in my 3-bed/2-bath house. She was wonderfully professional. I have one large picture window, several basement windows, and about 10 more standard-sized windows. The total estimate was $4800-$5,000, which I honestly thought was great for all the windows. Unfortunately, I couldn't afford to undertake the project at the time, but I definitely want to have it done in the future, by this company!
