Great experience from start to finish. I spoke with Stephen over the phone and explained what we had going on with our shower. He understood immediately and gave me a quote right over the phone. He called when he was on his way, as promised, and was right on time. The results are amazing. I wish I would have taken a "before" picture. I'm not sure if it was 11 years of using Tilex, or too abrasive of a scrubber, or just what, but the shower pan in our master bath had become stained and there was nothing I could do to get it clean - I tried every trick I could find on do-it-yourself websites. Stephen resurfaced the pan and removed and replaced the old caulk between the pan and the tile wall. It looks like a shiny, new shower. I'm thoroughly impressed and so glad that I called him. He was super nice, explained the processs that he was going to use, and was done in a little over an hour. That was money very well spent and I would gladly refer him to anyone.

I telephoned Stephen Huff and left message. He returned call within two hours and we discussed the issue respecting the nature of the tub substance (fiberglass) and the number of holes. He gave me an estimate and stated that patching and finishing was all that was needed. We set date and time. On morning of the date, he telephoned with an update with more accurate time of arrival. He showed up as indicated and immediately went to work. About 75 minutes later the tub/surround looked brand new. He did not have "booties" but removed his shoes just inside the door to go upstairs to the bathroom upon my request as we always exchange street shoes for house shoes when coming indoors. I would definitely use Mr. Huff's services again though I'm not sure I'd ever want a fiberglass surround unit again. Give him a call if you have this type of issue. He does other similar work, but I can only relate his work respecting this fiberglass unit. The estimate dovetailed with the price billed and his work is beautiful.

I wasp pleasantly surprised! My tub looked brand new! I was just in awe! He completed the job within 3 hrs. Cleaned up the whole area. He was professional, timely, &every personable!

In short, it went GREAT! Steve called me back to set up a time and gave me a rough estimate, based on the information that I gave him over the phone. He cautioned me that the amount could vary once he saw the actual job. We agreed to make it a detailed estimate and work visit -- he would provide a detailed estimate and if it was agreeable he would do the work right then. He arrived right on time, even called when he was on the way. Was very courteous and pleasant, our dogs even liked him. We reviewed the tub and enclosure and he provided a written estimate. He also walked through what he observed and the work that would be done. He also had before and after pictures of other work so we could get a better idea. Once approved he got right to work. When he got ready to color seal the grout he came and got us to check the color. Our tile and grout are slightly off-white, so he had added a bit of ivory to the standard white sealer. The sample area looked great, so he proceeded. When done, all the discolored (including some black "yuck") grout along with the old discolored and wrinkled caulk were gone. Replaced with clean, sealed grout and gleaming white, clean caulk. It looked like it did 9 1/2 years ago when it was new! Steve also took the time to talk about how to keep it looking good longer and inform us of the 24-hour curing time. We gave it an extra 48 hours and just used the guest bath shower. It almost looked too nice to use. The entire job took about 3 1/2 hours, including the estimate, tearing out the old caulk, cleaning and sealing the grout, putting in new caulk, and cleanup. Not bad to get from "old worn" to "new". We are very pleased with the work. In the future we know who to call and would highly recommend the work to friends.

Stephen made the old dingy tile floor look better than new. The 50+ year old bathtub didn't give him much to work with but with the deep cleaning and re-caulking he did it turned out great as well. I can't imagine being any more pleased with his work and recommend him without hesitation.

Got tub home and upon closer inspection found that we had a tub with two different colors on the bottom and only half of each foot had been painted. Rust is prevalent on the unpainted parts. We were told the feet would be taken off and completely painted.The tub should have been turned over and completely painted. The tub was painted correctly only on the parts that could be seen from a distance. We were told no one would ever see the bottom of the tub anyway so why would we complain.He also said if he knew we were from Angies List he would never taken the job because all Angies List customers want is perfection and to complain. My belief is he wanted to get done as quick as possible and took no pride in his work.Yes Angies List customers do want their project done to a better level and they should get it.

The work did in the bathrooms was fine, but I was dissatisfied with the work in the kitchen. He did everything in white. The colors in our kitchen are not white and the work really sticks out and is an eye sore. The technician said that after a while, you wouldn’t notice the color different. It has been a couple of years and you can still see the difference. I would have rather had the work done in a different color that matched. The technician was timely and the work was done well. However, I am not happy with the white in the kitchen when it does not match.

He came and looked and his bid was a bit too high for me. The guy was very professional and he knew the problem and he explained the process and everything to us very well. This was for a rental unit and my wife didn't just want to spend money on the rental unit to do work. Eventually three or four months later we found finally we had to do something about the bathtub and we had another company do it and they did it for probably $150 less than he was charging. The guy from Superior Refinishing Systems Inc seemed to be very professional, very knowledgeable and I think all things considered I think his price is very fair and so I think it was more of an issue with my wife. He was able to answer all my questions in a convincing way and he made me think he knew what he was doing.

The service was prompt, efficient and the process/expected outcome was explained very well. The results were very good. If you are expecting a shiny smooth surface afterwards, this may not be the way to go. But, if you want a nice looking slip resistant result, you won't be disappointed.

He was courteous and punctual but the quality of the reglazing was poor and unsurprisingly, it cracked within 6 months of the service date and we're back to square one. $300 down the drain. You could even see the actual brushwork of the substance he used to reglaze it, didn't even use a sprayer for even application. Substandard work. UPDATE: _____: We don't live in this house anymore.. In fact, that's part of why I didn't call for him to come fix it. It was a rental and I just didn't have time to mess with it. So, yes, I never did call him with complaints. I hope he bought a sprayer for application since the time that he refinished my tub. I stand by my review of the quality of the refinishing. It looked DIY, sorry. I wanted to update this review to state that I hadn't heard from him other than his public response on here, which I just now saw. I'm not out to hurt anyone's business, but the value of Angie's List is in accurate, truthful reviews. Sorry but I feel like if I review, I want it to be truthful.

Looked real good when done but now some of the grout is coming off.

The technician arrived at the house at the arranged time. He was professional and proficient, and did a good job re-caulking the white tile shower. He did the work in a timely manner and I was pleased with the results.

I called on 3/30/2012 to schedule time/date for him to come and look at it. He made the appointment for Sunday 4/1/2012 which worked great for us! When he looked at what the problem was, he explained to me that the "fix" would show up more than the problem. So he recommended not to do anything to it at this time and to get my money back from the Angie's list purchase! I was highly impressed with Stephen for his honesty. If my issue with the tub gets worse I will definitely be calling him back :)

Mr. Huff was on time, he repaired the tile in a professional manner. The price was fail.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. He missed a spot, we called him, he came right back out and took care of it.

We got our money's worth. When you pay $75, you don't expect the whole lot. We didn't get a whole lot but we got what we expected. The service and the price was fine.

It went well, but was slightly dissatified to realize he missed a spot around the tub facet and the cold facet.

Everything went okay. It took them a longer time than they said to finish the job, and when it was completed, it was not perfect. I called them, and they came back and did it right. Their price was kind of high.

It went really well. They were prompt and did the work in a timely manner. They did a nice job. Our shower needed work for a long time, so when the grout dried in the floor, it dried uneven color and they came back out and stained it so it would all match. They mixed the grout with a sealer, so hopefully it will last longer than regular grout.

We bought a house with a great, but poorly maintained, natural blue slate entryway floor. Stephen filled in some missing grout, cleaned the slate, and applied a clear acrylic sealer. This is the second time we have hired him (previously for bathtub refinish), and he is always pleasant, on-time, and good at what he does. Have recommended him to others and will continue to do so.

Superior Refinishing Systems Inc. were very clean and prompt. We ended up buying more of a complete restoration than we originally intended to. They actually came back and touched up a few places that didn't come out right. In fact, they did it the very next day. They were very good. The shower is a walk-in shower without a door or anything and it looks like brand new. We built the house like 20 years ago, so it looked like the day that we originally had installed it. So, that's good.
