The job was excellent and looks great. Sorry that we didn't do it long ago. He was prompt, efficient and left the place perfectly clean and neat. It's like a new bathroom.

Stephen from Refinishing Systems was beyond fantastic. It took me about two weeks to find a company (Follow Me Construction, which is also on Angie's List) to remove and replace the old tub surround, which needed to be done before the tub could be refinished. I scheduled the surround on a Thursday and with Stephen to refinish the tub on Friday. Stephen was on time and finished in two hours. He installed a non-slip surface during the refinishing process, so no slips or falls on an otherwise smooth as glass surface. The tub looks fantastic! I and my tenants are really pleased with the job he did.

I texted Stephen in the evening and moments later I received a phone call from him. He was really nice and professional. He said he does not do tile installs but even offered suggestions for ways to find a tiler in my area. I always appreciate when someone is honest about what they do, and what they don't. I'd call him if I need any refinishing work!

Very professional and easy. He returned my called promptly and gave me an approximate price over the phone. We settled on a day only three days after my call. As he promised he came on time and was able to finalize estimate and do the work immediately. It took him about two hours to complete work and bathrooms look perfect!

They did a fantastic job on refinishing the tub. It looks simply amazing. He showed up when he said he would and was easy to communicate with. Will definitely use again and refer to friends.

On time, quality work, good price in my opinion

He was prompt in coming out to provide an estimate and he scheduled the work promptly. An assistant (Rick?) came out first each day to start the job, with Steve showing up later. The assistant was actually the more careful worker. Some of the painting of the floors' grout lines was a bit sloppy, but they did better the 2nd day after concern was expressed. The work was done at a cost of about $75 per man-hour. The biggest issue was that Steve neglected to caulk at the bottom of one set of shower doors and, after water leaked out onto the floor, I had to caulk this area myself.

So glad I took a chance and had it rehabbed, it looks beautiful!!!

Very nice and up front about pricing. Was able to come out on a Saturday while it was snowing.

Everything looked squeaky clean after he left. I moved into this house 2 years ago and the shower was a mess. I kept trying different things to get it clean but nothing worked. I so wish I found him sooner. EXCELLENT JOB!

HE was very professional and cleaned up after the repair. It is the best no slip surface I have ever felt on a shower or tub. My wife loves it! You cannot see where the repair starts and stops. The combination tub and shower enclosure looks like new. The whole enclosure was not repainted to look the same as the repaired area. I don't know how it was done. The repair was cured and ready for use in about 24 hours. He told us upfront that there would be a smell of solvents for about 24 hours. There were no surprises, except the fact that the repair is better than than we expected. We are extremely pleased with the repair.

I called him. He actually called me back shortly. He took my information and stated that he would get back in contact with me to schedule an estimate in a few days. I never heard from him again.

Process was exactly as described. Stephen showed up on time and went above and beyond the services he said that he'd provide on the phone.

The quality was outstanding,and we are pleased with the outcome.Both units look like new. We will use Steve when we are ready to refinish our third bathroom.

It was a nightmare. I called them because I was worried about cracks in shower. They said they were sure that there was shower pan and there was no need to re-do the grout. He was completely incorrect and I now have to do bathroom remodel. He used so much acetone in a small space that I had air out the whole house. They didn’t show any expertise in their work, just a guy with acetone and a caulk gun.

After I closed on a house I walked into a surprise that the previous owners had a mat over a cracked and chipped tub ~ called Stephen for a free estimate and scheduled him for a few weeks later. Showed up on time, preformed great work and the tub looks TONS better and so much cleaner! Thanks, Stephen!

Excellent. He called me right back, came when he said, did beautiful work and the price was fair.

I contacted the owner and received a prompt call to set up an appointment. He came on time, detailed the service he would perform, and explained that he does NOT recoat tubs. He actually cleans the original surface and restores it. As I had heard many complaints about tub recoatings failing around drains, chipping in corners, etc., I went with Superior. The owner arrived promptly for our appointment and went right to work. He sealed off the bathroom (I am sensitive to chemicals.) and there was no tell-tale odor outside that room (and not much in the bathroom). Before the restoration, the bottom of the tub was gray with 87 years of grunginess. After this service, it was pure white and looked brand new, and the slip-proof surface makes it safe. I would definitely use this service again. The price is fair and the owner does exactly what he says he will do in the amount of time he predicted. He was professional, worked efficiently, and was careful of everything in the bathroom. I would tell potential customers that this company will definitely do the job promised, but you should know the following: 1) I love the finish on my tub, but it is not a super shiny surface like those on acrylic bathtubs. It has a nice sheen to it, is perfectly clean, but it doesn't have the glistening fake look of polymers. 2) You have to treat your restored bathtub with more care than you would another metal tub. (No abrasive cleaners like Comet, etc.) However, if you have a tub recoated, you have to use the same care and then run the risk that the coating will buckle, chip, or peel. There is no such worry with the process Superior uses. I absolutely love my "new" old 87-year-old bathtub, and to be honest, this was the best $350 I've ever spent on a home project. If ever I need another tub redone, I'll have it restored by Superior, and I'll refer friends to this company as well.

Steven came by to provide a free estimate on Monday, January 19th and was able to return to complete work on Friday, January 23rd (quick turn around). He called to let me know he was on his way and the work he performed is excellent. He caulked around my tub, bathroom window and other fixtures (along the baseboards, toilet, etc). He also cleaned and reconditioned the grout on my bathroom floor. I have the small about 1 inch hexigon tiles on the floor...very difficult to work with since there is about as much grout as tile. In short, my bathroom looks brand new and I'm very pleased. I would highly recommend this service company to anyone.
