Came out for estimate explained thoroughly why old unit was not performing correctly. Worked with me on repositioning the unit due to remolding I performed. Estimate was very fair for work that had to be done. I had three other companies come out. One from Angies list and one other from a friend referral. Both had good reputations and pricing was competitive with Neece. Neither company would work with me on repositioning the furnace or said anything about ducting being to small due to a larger A/C installed years ago. Furthermore our furnace went of course on the hottest time of the year. Neece explained if I called back with the go ahead at a certain time he would have the unit installed ASAP. I called for estimate on Monday furnace was installed Friday morning we had A/C and cold house by 5PM ! Neece will be first company I recommend if anyone asks if I know HVAC company.

The serviceman was personable, professional, and very competent. We really got our money's worth on this service call. We are calling them again for a separate issue with our furnace.

The service person arrived on time at the first time and did the test and checking. We were told that the A/C worked fine. Later we found that the air did not flow to the upstairs. We called the company again and they scheduled a free return trip for free on the same day. That time, Mr. Neece stopped by. He spent almost 90 minutes on tuning up the system to make sure everything works OK, including adjusting the air flow and refilling Freon that was a little lower than normal, etc. After he was done all those, the A/C system has been working very well. We were only charged for the amount of Freon refilled. The service was great and we are every happy! Thanks you both Angie's List and Neece Heating and Cooling Inc!

I wanted my air conditioning checked for the summer season. He showed up well within his one-hour time window. He checked the A/C unit in the basement and outside, then rinsed off the outdoor unit with my garden hose. The check included making sure there were no gas leaks. He was very careful and professional, but also friendly and chatty -- a very nice gentleman.

We had issues with our heating off and on for six months every two months we had to call in our heating guys from a different company. After I had an argument with the last guy to come from that company I was done and when it happened again I call this company. I was very impressed a tech showed up the same day that I called and listened to our concerns and he took his time to fixed our real problem as well as our whole home humidifier.

I've used Neece before (seasonal furnace check-up) and they are fantastic! Travis Neece is prompt, courteous, personable, and professional (as is Jennifer in the office). Turned out I didn't wire the t-stat correctly so it was a quick fix for Travis. However, before he left, Travis performed a full system check and ran each mode of the furnace to be sure everything worked. I ended up calling Neece back for another issue, heat pump furnace quit working (it's 20 yrs old & on its last leg, I believe). The inducer motor went out, as did a part on the outside unit ($550 repair). The inducer motor needed to be ordered. This happened on a cold weather Fri and the part wouldn't be in until the following Tues. Travis bypassed the emergency heat feature which heats off propane and requires the inducer motor, so that I'd have heat (electric) over the weekend. Needless to say, Travis is very thorough and doesn't blow in and out. He makes sure he's done all he can do before he leaves. He's knowledgeable AND he cares. That's a great combination and one that's hard to find in business these days. Neece Heating & Cooling has secured my business for all future HVAC needs and I recommend them highly.

It was good. We paid more than the "Big Deal" because we needed a replacement part. I was pleased. If we had another issue, I would call them again.

I have used Neece two times now and each time they are professional, knowledgeable and reasonable. On 1-9-14 they installed a humidifier and there was a small leak that showed up today (Monday 1-27). Travis was out here in an hour to fix the leak. Excellent company to work with. Always friendly and helpful.

We called several companies and selected Neece to replace our furnace based on the quote they, the product that they recommended, and the professionalism of the person who did our quote. They took the time necessary to identify our needs and made a suggestion that was better for us at the same price as the original deal they were offering. They were by far the best priced offer of the 5 companies we looked at. Their install was highly professional and did quick, clean, excellent work. I would highly recommend Neece if you are looking for a furnace replacement.

He showed up at appointment time and did a thorough check of everything that operates the furnace. I purchased this inspection using a coupon ad on Angie's List. Extremely pleased with Travis and his work. In fact, we are going to have him install a humidifier as soon as the weather will allow. He has quoted a very reasonable price. He will continue to be our heating and cooling needs provider.

Everything about the service was good, but it cost hundreds of dollars more than I was expecting.

I called to schedule a service appt because of the positive reviews on AL and was not disappointed. The guy who answered the phone told me about the big deal being held by his company and saved me 50 bucks! The technician was on time, polite , and knowledgeable. The repair was done for what a service call would have costed before adding the cost of the actual repair. Thank you Neece heating and cooling!!!!

They were punctual to fix our A/C the same day I called, and it turned out the owner himself came when his other technicians were on other calls. I was very impressed with how knowledgeable he was, yet still able to explain to me what was wrong with the unit. He also pointed out that our humidifier was no longer working and offered to return to fix it. He fixed our A/C and let me know that the machines really needed to be serviced (unsurprising since it's been a couple of years since their last service). He offered a discount if I scheduled the service with their company, which I was happy to do. They arrived for the service call the following week and were very quick about cleaning out the units, showing my husband what they were doing, and repaired my humidifier. At all times they were professional and courteous, wearing coverings over their shoes so dirt didn't get tracked into my house (which I appreciated). I was very impressed with this company and would recommend them without reservation. I know we won't be using anyone else for our heating or A/C needs.

They were fantastic. Travis had been servicing my AC and furnace, so we knew each other, thankfully, because I was out of town when they installed the units. Travis repaired the AC, but it turned to be a more serious problem which required that I replace the entire AC unit. Travis was very trustworthy, and I felt comfortable having his company do the work in my absence. It did not come as a surprise that I would need this work done; Travis had told me earlier in the spring that the units were old and that replacement might be eminent. So when the AC went out, it was worth it to replace the old furnace (1989) and AC, saving money on labor. Travis was very patient in explaining the process, my options for products and prices, efficiency, etc. I was pleased to get high efficiency units which will enable me to get a tax credit, and a credit through my power company. Travis also applied the cost of the first repair, and an Angie's list discount to my bill. The installation went off without a hitch, and Travis made an extra trip to my house to take care of some remaining details when I got home. He even switched out a couple of light switches without an extra charge. I appreciated the fact that he noticed things like that. He was even concerned that the new thermostat revealed some old wallpaper, and he wanted to make sure I wouldn't be upset with how the wall looked. The crew did a great job of cleaning up after themselves, and I couldn't have asked for a better deal. Travis and Jennifer (in the office) went above and beyond the call of duty.

They were very responsive, great customer service from the office staff. They diagnosed my AC issue. It was a wire that needed to be replaced and they drained the line. The technician was extremely professional, knowledgeable and polite. Yes I would call them again.

The office told me the repair guy would be here around 4:00-4:30, but he may show up a little earlier if that was okay. When he hadn't shown up at 4:50, I called the office and asked what hour they stopped service calls. I was concerned they would close at 5 or ask for an 'after hours' fee. She said someone would be out by 7:00 to take care of us. It was about 7:20 when the technician showed up to perform mediocre service. My hvac system is original to the house (~30 years old!) it's ready to be replaced, inefficient, and flawed. But it seemed like simple areas of concern that were glaringly apparent to me were not readily observed or noted. His initial assessment was looks ok, old but ok with some wear and age. Once I specifically asked him to bend down and look at particular areas he then noted some concern about damage and functionality. I did get what I needed from them; however, the effort I put forth was (and their lack of effort) wasn't such a value.

The whole experience was great! I woke up to a warm house on what promised to be one of the hottest days of the year. I called Neece and got an appointment for the same day. Travis arrived ahead of schedule and answered all of my questions while he worked on the unit. 30 minutes later, my house was cool again! With my Angie's List coupon for a $40 visit and the $129 capacitor, the visit was less expensive than I expected and worth every penny. We'll be calling Neece again to make sure we're all set for heat in the winter, ahead of time. Thanks, Travis!
