Description of Work: The tech showed up on-time and progressed promptly with the work. My tub had some issues, but not only did he stick with it until properly done, but they brought in another tech to assist. Angie's List deal included a non-slip surface (and it really is!). In summary, we are very satisfied with Miracle Method.

Description of Work: 'restored' shower and large bath by spraying products over existing tile. The salesman, John, was very knowledgeable as he's been with this company over 20 years. He answered all our questions and I did not feel rushed at all. Ronnie and Kris (who did the work) were professional and polite. Good workers. They did a great job and totally cleaned the area when finished. I would definitely recommend the process by this company. (their TV advertising paid off for sure)

Description of Work: Something heavy had been dropped into tub causing damage that radiated out about a foot from point of impact and was leaking through to the ceiling below. Fortunately it was repairable and they made the tub look like new.

+ -1 moreMike came in and taped everthing. He removed the old paint. Next day he put an adhesive and primer on. He put the equivalent of three layers of paint. Last he sanded and buffed. It looks perfect and shines better than new. I could not be happier. It took a day or two longer than we were told. No problem. We have a large corner tub with jets.
Description of Work: Mike is a very nice person and a perfectionist. The job took a little longer than we were told, but that was O.K. We had had our tub refinished once before. It was awful from the beginning, and got worse. It had a five year warrenty. but started peeling in about a year. He would not even come back to see it. MY BATHTUB now looks better than it did when it was brand new. I am thrilled.

+ -1 moreExcellent. Honored the AL coupon, did a great job. You have to look VERY close, and it is still challenging to see where the refinished part stops and the old tub surface begins. I asked him a few other questions about some work on the bathroom I had done recently (by someone else), including some exposed wood above the tile around the shower. He explained that it should be treated, as it will get some water on it, and so he painted it and caulked around it, no extra charge! He also put an extra bead of caulk around the tub, and gave me something to clean another part of the tub, no charge! Couldn't be happier.

+ -1 moreIt went great. There was minimal disturbance in our home or activities. Even the cats didn't seem to mind the smells or noises. A consummate professional job done by an employee that Miracle Method should be very proud of. If only all home improvement employees conducted themselves like Mike.
Description of Work: Mike was to arrive at 8:30AM, but he called to let us know there was a delay. He arrived approx. 1:30PM, but went right to work. First he brought in his materials and set up a work area in the bathroom. He carefully taped and hung barriers around the new tiles and grout. Part of his work the first day was to clean and prime the tub, preparing it for the new surface to be applied. During the time he was using any sprays or chemicals, Mike used a large exhaust fan with a flexible vent tube to channel any fumes or smells out of our home. He arrived right on time the second day and within two hours, we had a beautiful, gleaming, almond tone bathtub. We did pay extra for the non-skid surface, but there was no pressure at all when it was offered. Mike left the bathroom very clean and took care of any residual materials and trash from the job. If this finish holds up as well as we expect, we fully intend to ask Miracle Method back to help us with some ugly countertops.

+ -1 moreI had had my tub "refinished" twice before by another company, and the finish was peeling, with rust patches starting on the tub bottom. The technician taped off my entire bathroom, sanded, patched with Bond-O, and then recoated the tub. It was a two-day project, but the results are beautiful! I never thought my tub could look so nice again. The ONLY thing I would say about the company is that the owner, who did the bid, did not explain about any "add-on" options, such as a non-slip surface and all-in-one drain and plug. The technician told me about these items, making it seem like I really did need to get at least the non-slip surface (I actually agreed), so I ended up spending more than the bid amount. I really hope the owner updates the bidding process to include optional yet recommended processes. However, I'm still very happy with the results and am recommending Miracle Method to everyone I know.

+ -1 moreThey did a very nice job and I'd recommend them. It is a very large bathroom (10 by 20) so there was a lot of stripe. I had tentatively booked them for a week later, but it turned out the other work in the house was done a little early, so I asked if we could have it done sooner and they were able to work it in. Very helpful and pleasant about it. The tech did a great job of masking the room-which took longer than usual because he had to mask a straight line on each side of accent stripe. After he left, we noticed that there was a little bit of a black edge showing in the shower area, so we emailed, and they sent him back for a hand touch up which went very well. I'd use them again. I would caution folks that matching existing tile is hard to do, and while the owner talked about custom matching, the tech was not keen on that.
Description of Work: We had them paint/refinish an accent stripe of bathroom wall tile to change the color of the stripe to white--stripe had consisted of 4 by 4 tiles in various dark and bright colors surrounded by black pencil tiles. The rest of the tile on the walls is white, and we wanted the stripe to match the other wall tile as well as possible.

+ -1 moreWe had the tile work done around the bathtub and that guy dropped the tile on the fiber bathtub and broke it. So we used Miracle Method to repair the bathtub. They did a very good job. They just used some kind of spray and fixed the tub and now it looks like a new one. They were friendly, efficient, got here when they said they were going to be here and explained processes. They even called back to see whether are happy with their work or no.

+ -1 moreWe had recently remodeled the guest bath and put in a new vanity and toilet. The white cast iron tub was in great shape, but we wanted it to be beige so that it would match the new fixtures. Since we didn't want to rip it out and buy a new one, we decided to just have it painted. It looks brand new now. They gave us an estimate over the phone. Except for some discussion about what color of paint to use, it was an easy process. The job was completed in less than three hours. The tub glistens and matches the rest of the bathroom now. We are glad this is the route we chose.

+ -1 moreI have used Mike on 3 different occasions. Each time Mike has shown up when expected and completed the task in a quality, workmanlike manner. It is always completed on or under his cost estimate. He finished when expected and does a good job of clean up when the work is complete. The countertops look great - and helped to sell the homes. The bathub reglazing was also amazing - it looked like a new tub after Mike worked his magic on it. His process and warranty were also significantly better than the others I called to bid the job. Now, I just call Mike - I don't even bother with the others!
Description of Work: Mike Nield and Miracle Method have completed several jobs for me. The first was to reglaze a bath tub. Their work was great, done on time and on budget. Since then they have completed 2 more jobs for me. Both were solid surface countertop jobs where they refinished some really ugly formica countertops. Their product was significantly cheaper than new formica and looks great. Many think that the "new" countertops are some sort of solid surface product to look like granite. It is amazing - looks great, wears well and cheaper than formica. Mike does a quality job. I will continue to use Mike and Miracle Method for countertop replacement. The "new" kitchens in the last 2 homes have helped sell the homes!

+ -1 moreSince this house was a rehab, I had a lockbox on the door and arranged the work to be done over the phone with Mike. I had met him through a local home show. He did the work in a timely manner. I had the house almost completed, walls painted, ceramic tile tub surround, flooring down when Mike did the work. He did a great job of keeping the surrounding area clean while still giving my tub a great looking finish. There was no mess at all. The only way I knew he had been there was my beautiful new-looking tub. I had used another company previously and didn't have such a good experience. I will be doing more rehabs and will be calling on Mike in the future for his services.
