We could not afford it at the time, but he was a very nice person. He is young man in his early 20's who is very professional. He is easy to work with. I look forward to working with him, but not right now.

I've used Phillip several times and have been pleased with his work. He seems to know what he is doing and does a good job. He is a happy soul and enjoys a good conversation!!

Great! He's been at my house 4 times and has always been very punctual, professional, helpful, and reasonably priced. He even came back to put my furniture back on the deck after the paint had dried. One thing I especially like is that he communicates with me by text and email - very convenient.

It cost $800 for the shower. It went real good. I was really pleased. He did a good job. He was pretty reasonable in his price.

Phillip did excellent work! He was quickly able to see what needed to be done to fix the front storm door - which was dragging, not closing properly, and was obviously off center. He came right on time for our appointment, which he arranged to be convenient for me. He quickly assessed the problem and told me exactly what he would do to fix the problem. He came back with all his needed materials and quickly went to work. He was done in no time and I am thrilled to have a door that functions properly! I would recommend him and feel confident in his ability. I will have no hesitation to call him again when I need a handyman.

I bought the Big Deal for $49.00 and was contacted immediately by Philip to scheduled my appointment which was set for 2/17/13. Philip arrived on the agreed time. We visited again about the two items I wanted done. He said that it would take most likely and hour and a half to complete both projects so he got to work immediately. I was skeptical at first about hanging this very large and heavy mirror but he had all the right tools with him and had it hung without issue and without one mark on my newly painted walls! It took a bit more time to install the cat door but again he had all the necessary tools for the job. That particular job was messy as he had to cut into the door leading to the garage. Again, there was not one mark left on the door which I had also just painted. As soon as he was finished, he cleaned up all of the debris. He was finished in exactly 1 1/2 hours so I paid for an additional half hour at his regular rate. Everything looks great and I could not be happier. One item of note which may not be important to others but was to me, without anything being said, the first thing he did when he came in to my home was to take off his shoes as he was walking on new area rugs. Nice touch. He was prompt, prepared, professional and personable. I will absolutely hire Handyman Barrett again in the future!

I wanted to buy my wife one of those touch kitchen faucets for her birthday since her old manual one had developed a leak. I wanted to get the best and I wanted it installed by the best because these things are expensive and I didn't want to screw it up. I logged in to Angie's List and set the Search to look for an A-rated plumber who was close by. Handyman Barrett popped up at the top, so I called him. He recommended 3 different manufacturers that, in his experience, are the best. He even offered me advice over the phone about installing them in case I decided to go ahead and do it myself. Ha! Not a chance! I found and purchased one of his recommendations at a local chain hardware store and contacted Handyman Barrett for an appointment. He scheduled me for 9am on Christmas Eve. He showed up right on time and was done in under an hour and a half. He would have been done sooner, but he took the extra time and elbow grease to remove the water stain buildup from our stainless steel sink after removing the old leaky faucet. Bravo! After he was done, he showed me where the battery pack was and what to do if one of the new check valves tripped. He then demonstrated the features of the new faucet and showed us how to fill the new built-in soap dispenser. Before he left, he also pointed out a developing leak under the sink at the dishwasher drain and how to fix it. I would have let him go ahead and fix it, but he didn't have the needed part on his truck. That's perfectly understandable. Phil "Handyman" Barrett was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He will definitely be our first call for any future plumbing needs or whatever else!

It all went very well. Him and his helper did the job in one day and it all turned out very well.

Everything turned out excellent. Everything looks nice. He was prompt, knowledgeable, and very good at the task. He was not even disruptive to the rest of the house.

I called the company giving them my address and phone number and job needed doing, and they never called me back.

He went out and bought it for us, charged a fair price, and was great!

Beautiful job. He knows what he is doing and did not take long to install and remove the existing oven fan. We have more jobs for him in the near future.

He was fabulous. Showed up on time for the initial walk through and also on the day of work. He was very efficient, clean, personable. Price was commensurate with work done. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I failed at my attempt to DIY the ice maker myself but it took this handyman approximately 45 seconds to do what had eluded me for almost a year. I had recently purchased a new kitchen faucet but didn't even want to attempt the diy so he removed the old one, cleaned the area, and placed the new faucet in without any difficulty what so ever. He even took the old faucet with him to dispose of. I had also recently purchased a new microwave and although that wasn't on my list of handyman services he offered to put it in for me, again doing so in record time and even vacuumed up the mess made when he had to drill new holes. I will be using this service again and have already referred a friend to him.

Handyman Barrett did a great job. I had water leaking into my basement when we used the shower. I had several estimates where the contractor told us we had a leak in the wall and really needed to replace all the tile in this shower b/c it was old.. Handyman Barrett quickly diagnosed the problem and it was not that I needed new tile. He said shower head was loose and water was running down wall and into basement from some loose tiles which he could fix. This saved me about $700!!!! We have not had any problem since. Handyman Barrett was prompt--came out same day to give me an estimate and the next day to do the work. I really appreciated his honesty. His pricing was also really reasonable. I will definitely be calling him again. Thanks so much!!
