Description of Work: I wanted an estimate for a French drain in front of the house. He forthrightly suggested that I have them create a swale instead for less cost, that is, a depression in the lawn that would prevent water from approaching the house and lead it away. However the estimate was well over 1000 dollars, and to bury the downspout also would have gone to nearly 1700. Don't want to know how much the drain would have been. I think I can find the work I need done for less, but I haven't persued it further. He was very professional and prompt.

Description of Work: Ken Banks from Atlantis Drainage Solutions came by yesterday and took a look at our foundation, basement and guttering to check and see if our foundation had settled and provide us with a plan to keep water out of our basement. He was very honest and told us we do not have a foundation problem. Even though he did not have to perform any work for us he took the time to make recommendations on keeping water out of our basement and making sure our foundation stays in tact. Very knowledgeable and honest! If I ever needed foundation work he would be the person I would contract to perform the work.
