American cleaned the air ducts in our 3 bedroom, 2 story house. They were very courteous by being careful of our plaster walls. They said they could take the vents off of the walls to clean from the vent and also the furnace, but there was a chance the plaster would come off the walls, so we opted to just have them clean from the furnace. They did a good job cleaning up after themselves and there was minimal dust in the house.

It was an excellent experience. Randy and his colleague did a thorough job with the cleaning and with educating us on the best way to keep them clean - ie, minimize candle usage, use our shop vac regularly, and run our fan in the "on" position (rather than "auto") during periods of high activity such as parties and kid get-togethers. As a bonus, Randy is tied in closely with other small businesses and was able to recommend additional providers. This was especially useful as we're new to the area, and Randy pointed us to a garage door installer, a woodworker, and a reputable HVAC company.

I was truly amazed at the difference cleaning the register vents made in our house. Right away when I walked in the door, both my husband and I noticed the air quality seemed cleaner, more fresh and clear. Plus, all the tops of the vents and the blades in between had been cleaned. The services were performed as promised and within the quoted amount. I received a phone call when the technicians were on there way. I will definitely be having this company come out more often to keep our house cleaner. Awesome job! Thank you!

They came when they were scheduled, worked quickly and vacuumed the whole house. The two guys were very professional and nice. The house was cleaner when they left than it was when they came.

They were very professional and courteous. They explained the process and went right to work after locating all our vents. They cleaned and sanitized all the vents, as well as vacuumed each room when they completed their cleaning in that particular room. They also did bacterial fogging. They cleaned our dryer vent, and installed a new outside vent cover. They were absolutely great! For the reasonable price for their work, we could not be happier. We would highly recommend American Duct Cleaning.

The guys did a very thorough job, cutting holes in the duct work to access all areas of the main trunks, removing registers and cleaning each individual run from the trunk. They even went back in the crawl space and cleaned from that end. My only complaints are that they removed some of the insulation from the duct work to gain access in the crawl space and did not put it back, and that they left the service switch on the furnace in the off position so the ac did not run after they left until I discovered the service switch in the off position.

The crew arrived on time, worked professionally, did everything they promised, and completely cleaned the area after working. They also gave sound advice for the next cleaning and what to watch for if there are any problems.

The men were friendly, punctual and professional. My only gripe is that they left messes in both our basement and a few of our rooms. They also left a vent cover off in my son's room.

They were great. The provider was very good. After the fact he talked to me gave me some recommendations and how I could better or efficiently use my heating a/c system and how to cut down on the dust and such in the house, which I would imagine would be counter productive to his job, but he did provide the recommendations. I would use them again.

This company was 1 of the 2 that I contacted to give me a bid. Last week the salesman, who was very knowledgable, came to my house because of a concern I had with a vent that had mold on the exterier wall. We discussed what the previous company told me. He removed the vent and determined that the mold was due to the vent being installed improperly and not insulated. The condensation from the uninsulated vent caused the mold. Great news that I did not have any mold in my ventilation system. It was confined to 1 specific problem that was treatable. He wrote a quote that included cleaning all the vents and rebuilding and insulating the problem vent. My quote also included closing off a "jerry rigged" vent that was not needed in the basement as well as sanitizing and fogging the entire system. I also got an Angie's list discount on the vents. The guys came today and did the work. I cannot tell you how polite and informed they were! When they arrived I showed them the two problem areas and guess what? They knew exactly what the salesman had told me. They were totally on the same page. They knew exactly what they were going to do and how to do it. They brought the sheet metal to rebuild the vent and I provided new insulation that I had stored in the basement. While they were here they repaired a vent that I had stepped through and was held together with duct tape. I was working at home while they were here (I was warned it was very loud). As they changed levels in the house, they would stop to tell me things I needed to know. The salesman told me they would leave the house cleaner than when they arrived. They vacuumed my floors and left no trace of being in my house. There were a couple registers that were so dirty they could not get them clean. They asked me to run the through the dishwasher then set them outside in the heat to dry while they finished the house. Sure enough, the dishwasher cleaned them like new. They adjusted all my dampers and taught me how to do it so as the seasons change. I understand which direction everything needs to go. I cannot express how pleased I was with the work as well as everyone that came through my door that represented American Duct Cleaning.

The whole experience was great. Parker was our service man and he took his time, walked me through the whole process and was very professional and informative. I could not believe how dirty our ductwork was in our new home. The job ended up taking longer than expected, with no additional cost incurred. Parker was very knowledgable. He gave us tips on how to keep our furnace working better and longer. The last time I had our ducts serviced at our old home, the service man was there for approximately 1.5 hrs and the house was about the same size. This time, it took almost 4 hours due to the amount of dirt and the difficulty of our home's layout. This tells me that he really cared about the quality of the service he provided and was willing to take the extra time to get the job done right. It was well worth the cost.

Great guys, pleasure to work with them. The estimate I received was pretty much on the money, showed up on time, cleaned up after they were finished.

We had a couple rooms that seemed to be colder & had lower airflow than the rest of the house. They happened to be the kid's rooms & I'd caught one of my daughters as a toddler stuffing things into the vent. Even though I'd put the vacuum hose down there to clean it out, I was pretty sure there were things I hadn't been able to remove. My husband & I both have bad allergies & this last season seemed to hit both of us particularly hard - even when we were indoors. We also just finished a home improvement project leaving the house with a nice layer of dust, so we decided to call around & hired American Duct Cleaning for their cleaning services. Randy (the owner) explained the duct cleaning process very well over the phone & answered all my questions patiently and was very friendly to speak with. Parker was the young man who came out to clean our vents and he was polite, knowledgeable and thorough. He dusted & vacuumed up after himself & left the house cleaner than he found it (I was putting off cleaning until he left, thinking he would have made a mess). He talked to me before & after the process, letting us know a few tips to keep the dust down in the house & even how to help with the heating problem in our daughter's rooms. After he left, the rooms are warmer and the air feels cleaner. Parker was a joy to have in our home and I'd recommend American Duct Cleaning & Parker especially for their duct cleaning services.

From setting up the appointment to clean up this company is truly one of a kind. Customer service is really hard to come by these days and these men were absolutely amazing. The explained in detail what they were doing they were polite and personable. Next time our ducts need cleaning there is no doubt we will use them as well as recommend them to everyone.

They showed up a little late, but it's understandable that other jobs can put you behind. They did call and let us know the time they would be here. They were very professional and courteous. They used quality, up to date equipment and did a thorough job. They showed us all of the gunk they cleaned out of the ducts and cleaned up well afterwards. They even let us check the bag for some jewelry my wife though she might have lost down a vent.

THe two young technicians came on time, explained what the work entailed and were very professional. I was extremely impressed with them and the services they provided. They also took time to explain how to help to keep the duct work working cleanly, such as not using candles so often, substitute with scent warmers. The improved performance of my furnace was noticeable right away as well as my husband wasn't having so many problems in the evening with his breathing and suffy sinuses. Great work all around.

Excellent experience. Was nice to my pets (big plus for me). Went the extra mile by cleaning up lint that was blowing around my yard, and making a special trip to the hardware store to get a new outside vent cover.

Contacted them, they were friendly and easy to talk with. Was able to make an appointment for a relatively close date. They showed up when they said they would, and they were friendly and professional. They performed the work as requested and were good at explaining what they were doing and why.

They are a small company that delivered big. They did everything they said they would do .There was a lot more work than they had anticipated but they didn't complain and didn't try and hit me with extra charges.The service industry needs more companies like this Stan Sanders

The work went pretty well. They were okay. I don’t know if I would recommend them. When they sealed the vents, they put like a plastic sticky stuff on the vent to cover them before they cleaned it out. The stuff won’t peel out or whatever. I think that they did an okay job with that. Then one of them fell off and I went and put it back up. They didn’t seal that as well as I thought they should have. If you are going to do a job, you should do it well and do it right. I used one of that Angieslist Super Deal. It was only for one unit. I had already called them and set up an appointment to do the job. They probably assumed that I already knew the details of the job. That was a good price. They were pretty responsive.

they called and set up the appointment and gave me an estimate over the phone...They showed up on time and went right to work. Since I live not far from their base office they gave me a price break and an Angies List discount...They were fast and walked me thru the whole thing they were doing. They took me outside to show me all the crud that was removed from the duct work. They cleaned up...i paid and they left.
