Pyramid Roofing Company Inc

The only reason I chose another company was price, approximately $3000 less than Pyramid's $19,000 bid. The estimator, Charles, was on time, clean and neatly dressed, and well-spoken. He went over my roof thoroughly and provided a detailed estimate covering all the work they proposed to accomplish the tasks. I was very impressed with the company. Had it not been for the price, I would have chosen them. While I said above that I would not use them again, I would certainly get a bid from them on future jobs, as this appears to be a real quality company.

Everything went pretty good. They sort of made a mistake at because I wanted a new base for the shingles and they had no new wood to put on. They got about 2/3 of the way through the roof before my son told me that they weren't putting new wood underneath. They took the roof off completely and replaced the wood and installed the new shingles. It's a beautiful roof. They did a good job with the gutters and downspouts, too.

They replaced the roof on my duplex and replace guttering and a skylight. We had to wait several months to get the work done. But this was because of the massive amount of roofs that were damaged in the hail storm in our area. They actually got to us 2 weeks sooner than what they had atticiapted. The work was done quickly and professionally. The roof looks great! Would use this company again.

Rated a B for responsiveness because it took a few phone calls to get someone to call me back. However, they were very busy due to a hail storm. On the schedule work day, they arrived on time and got right to work. All work was done in one day. They cleaned up everything before they left.

The first one fine. ($4800) The second one they screwed up my siding. They overcharged the second time after they new I had insurance money. But I can only imagine that they were very busy due to a hail storm earlier, but I would have expected a better service from them. They eventually came back and tried to fix the siding. This has been going on since last October.

They did a great job. They weren't as prompt as I would have liked. Once they arrived they did the job in just one day. They worked extremely hard and overall did a really good job.

The first time that they came out to replace the roof, they put on the incorrect roof. They put on a 30 yr roof instead of the 50 yr that I asked for. They had to reorder the roof and it took another 2 weeks. Once they got it in, they came back out to put on the correct roof they damaged my siding extensively. I have ladder marks, scrapes and indentations all along my eves. My siding was new as of February 2011 and I was shocked to see the damage. One of their service men had fallen off the roof and did some of the damage, which I understand, yet the damage was more extensive than just that occurance. The first time that they came out there was a downspout that they disconnected and left apart for 2 weeks. The water that should have been directed away from the house was therefore seeping into my basement. My basement carpeting is a mess due to the water. I would not recommend them even though they came highly recommended to me by the roof materials manufacturer.

I was referred to them by friends. Their price was good. Their proposal was accurate. They were very accessible. They gave me their cell number the first day, and I could contact them with any concerns. They were on time.

It was an insurance thing because we had hailstorm damage. It went very well. They did a great job. We were pretty happy with them. It was a pretty big project. It was the same guy that followed up with us. He was professional. They showed up when they said they were going to. My husband dealt a little bit more with them. We didn't know exactly when they were going to deliver the stuff. They delivered it and they came out the next day and did the job. It didn't sit out for very long which that was nice. We have some neighbors who had it sitting there for ten days before they got the roof done. It completely messed up the grass where they had set it. These guys did fine. They got it out there and they started working on it the next day. The price is not really applicable because our insurance company covered it. They were one of the companies that were recommended by our insurance company. The quality has been good so far. We had a little trouble getting started with them in the first place because of certain mix-ups with messages and so on. I seriously thought I wasn't going to go with them, but my husband then made connections with them and everything went well after that. They had a couple of little things that didn't get communicated to their office but they got taken care of I think. I think they were very punctual. They were good. We would use them again in the future if we needed to.

When the crew arrive I was introduced to the foreman and the crew. I was informed an inspector would come and look at the job as it was being performed.The crew was great. They came at a good hour in the morning and worked until sundown. I am so glad I picked Pyramid because the job was so complicated. The inspector was out several times, took pictures, and sent the crew out 2 more times until the job was done to their satisfaction. That is comforting because I can't get up on the 3rd floor to see what has been done. I was shown the pictures of what the inspector thought should be tweaked. The bill was not sent to USAA until Pyramid thought the job was done.

I was bidding on some foreclosures and their man came and looked the houses over but then totally dropped the ball and failed to get me numbers to use in time, or at all. He emailed me and appoligized but then still did not send me a quote. I did actually end up buying a house and spending over $10000 on a new roof with another company. This is the text from an email they sent after a lengthy delay: My carpenter has been slow (to say the least) about getting me a tongue and groove price on the raytown roof. I pinned him down into getting me a price tomorrow and I will forward the prices at that time. I hope I have not lost the opportunity to be your roofer. Let me know if you have already contracted to do the work. Regards, Joe Speicher Pyramid roofing I replyed that I still needed the quote and was looking at another house I needed an estimate on but never heard back from them. BAD BUSINESS for sure.

They came to inspect and then gave us a bid. They informed that the roof was damaged and we called our insurance company. They quoted the lowest price and they had the best products.

The professionalism is just not there. I got quotes from several other companies in the area. He showed up an hour early and didn't introduce himself. I had to ask him who he was. His opinion was different from two other companies on certain things.

They were good at everything and the amount was covered by insurance. If need be, then I would use their services in the future.

They were very good. They did the work when they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. Overall I was pleased with the material choices they gave me. I would highly recommend them.

It was not a great experience. Work started later than expected. The job was completed in a different manner than we first agreed on. When the crew arrived to do the roof, there was a disconnect between what they said they would be doing and what the person that quoted the project told me was going to be done. One reason we chose them was because they quoted a way that may not have been most cost effective, but it was the right way and was higher quality. However, when the workers came, they insisted on doing the roof differently than the person who gave the quote. All in all, there were a lot of communication issues between their departments. A year and a half later we are still having leaking issues on one part of the roof. They've been responsive to coming out and looking at it, but still havent resolved the issue. In addition, they subcontracted some stucco work, but we had to constantly call the subcontractors for 6 months to get them to come and finish the job.

They were quick and they cleaned up after they were done. They were professional and everything they did looks okay.

They did a nice job working on the roof. They did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. They got the job done very quickly and efficiently. The workers were very friendly and courteous.

They were the only ones that were on time to their estimate. They had a very reasonable price. They did very good quality work. I would recommend them and use them again.

I felt like if I had been home and watched over them it would have been OK. I didn't feel they were careful. Everything is resolved now.

I was not happy with the quality of the work. They put nails through our eves. I would not recommended.

Matt came out and gave us an estimate. He was very honest about the condition of our roof and said that it wasn't all that bad yet. Because we had a small leak in the master bathroom and because the roof would have to be replaced within a year or two anyway, we decided to go ahead and have it replaced. They came to do the work on the day they said they would. The entire project was completed in one day. They did a good job of cleaning up. The final invoice was exactly the same as the estimate given, and they were at least $1,000 less than all other estimates we received. We are very pleased.

They had a backlog of work, so it took a while. They did get the job done in two days once they started and kept the area nice and clean.

Job went very well. It was gone quickly. Workers cleaned up after the roofing was completed.

As the neighbor to the job being done, I came home at the end of the first day on the job(after 12 hours)to find a power cord running around the back of my house and plugged in to my electric service. The job site has power but for some reason the roofers choose to run their equipment off of my house. When I asked them about it they said sorry and acted as if none of them new who connected the power. This was clearly not an ''accident'' as there could have been no doubt that they were connecting to a different property. My back gate was also open, which indicated they may have been elsewhere in my yard, although I could not prove that. This should serve as an example of the level of professionalism(lack of) of this company.
