The employees were nice, but they were the highest bidders of the roofers I interviewed for the job. I went with another company because of this.

We contacted Pyramid to install a concrete tile roof on our house. Eric (salesman) contacted us promptly and provided a bid within a few days. He went over everything with us, included some changes that we wanted, and answered all our questions professionally. On the day scheduled to begin, their crew showed up promptly and got to work immediately. Because of the small and short street that we live on, and the amount of supplies needed, the first day included a lot of organizing along with the tear-off of our shake roof. Brian (foreman) was on top of everything and kept our property as functional as it could be under the circumstances. The installation went on in what was probably record time, as we had the benefit of double crews. They were great at cleaning up every night of all nails, tile pieces, flashing, etc. I would not hesitate to recommend Pyramid to anyone. Their price was reasonable, they followed through with every aspect of the job, and completed the job to our total satisfaction.

They were professional. They made my work with the insurance company easy. They were timely in getting the work done.

I would rate them average. They didn’t do anything spectacular. The price was average.

They were excellent. They were very responsive, timely, and clean. Once I told them about the leak in my chimney, they came out right away.

It was an insurance claim. I did not like the fact that they were a little wishy-washy about the way they worked. The sales guy told us one thing; of course, nothing was in writing. Then they came out to give us an estimate when they were trying to get the job; so they were bidding against other companies. When we decided to go with them they came back and told us they had some additional charges. I told them to talk to the insurance company about it. The roofing contractors are a pretty slippery industry, anyway; I don't trust them. The price; after they adjusted it, turned out to be high.

They were there on timeThe did my neighbors and my roof. Cleaned up after themselves - no nails left I did check them out on Angie's list before we went with them.

I called them per my neighbor's referral and the lady scheduled the appointment right away for the next day. He called next morning as he was going to be 30 minutes late but came within that time. I explained that situation (the next door neighbor's insurance cleared them of any hail damage last year but an inspector found it to be replaced. This company met with their insurance adjuster and convinced that it would have to be replaced. We wanted to ensure we have no issues.) He then inspected our roof and said it's pretty good. He did not charge anything.

They did a pretty good job for the most part. They were professional. The quality was excellent but the price could have been better.

Everything went as promised and agreed to.

Pyramid was quick to give an estimate and get guys on the job. The roof looks great, and I can't tell where exactly the repairs were done. They promised prior to the repairs that they would take great care to avoid litter, yet we've since found plenty of fallen nails and plastic bags that they did not clean up, so a couple marks off for that.

They did a good job. I didn’t have any problems with them.

I needed my roof repaired due to hail damage, and my insurance company recommended this company for my claim. Jeremy came out and looked at the damage and then gave me a very decent proposal. A week later, a dozen men came out and and replaced the roof in less than a day. They left the the area as clean as when they found it and I am very pleased with the work.

The appraisal and selection process was very good. They were very attentive on what I wanted and they were obviously not fly by night. They were very thorough and pretty good on everything. The actual installers did a good job, they did leave a problem but they were good about fixing it after I reported it. They resolved their issue without a problem.

Pyramid Roofing was hired to remove an existing roof and install a 50 year roof per a signed contract. The initial day of installation phone calls had to be made to Pyramid. 1. the first call was to complain that the workers were removing portions of the gutter guard and throwing it away. 2. the second call was to complain that portions of my new siding was being removed. I was assured that the siding would be reinstalled. This never happened. 3. The third call was made when I noticed that Pyramid Roofing had installed a 30 year roof instead of the contracted 50 year roof. Work was stopped immediately. After discussion of the error, Pyramid attempted to negotiate a discount for the mistake. I refused and insisted that 50 year roof was to be installed per my contract. It would take approximately two weeks before the new 50 year material would be available. When Pyramid Roofing left that day they failed to reinstall the gutter downspout on the back side of the house. During the following two weeks, it rained approximately 2 to 3 inches. The water that formerly had been directed away from the home, was no longer being directed away, but draining down the walls and into the basement, causing water damage to the carpet, carpet pad, and carpeted wood stairs. The water went unnoticed for several weeks after Pyramid eventually installed the 50 year roof. Pyramid Roofing Company did considerable damage to my siding. RK Construction replaced the damaged siding and charged me $1,204.00. Secondly, after the work was completed on the roof, I came home on an extended lunch hour to find workers from Pyramid Roofing in my back yard unannounced peering through my kitchen window. As soon as they saw me they left immediately. Not trusting Pyramid's installation, I contacted another roofing company and had them inspect their workmanship. It was discovered that the flat portion of the roof still had the 30 year roofing material on it. In addition to this it appeared that there was no felt under the flat portion of the roof and that the roofing material was applied directly to the plywood. There were numerous gouges and scuff marks on the flat ared, and caulking was applied haphazardly. Out of five new pipe boots only two of these boots were caulked and all were left unpainted. Also, the large roof vent was not replaced. It was painted and left as new. Three new square roof vents had boot marks and indentations caused by someone kicking them. Modern Storm Solutions did the replacement of the flat part of the roof, but before paying them $1,327.87 to do so, an appointment was scheduled in January for Pyramid to see the problems with the flat portion of the roof. They failed that appointment and gave no explanation as to why, nor did they call to reschedule. To this day I am still dealing with the Attorney Generals office for restitution.

It went very well. They were fast and efficient. It is still holding up good.

Overall, things went really well with them. It was easy to deal with them and it didn't take very long. They did what they said they were going to do and they were gone. I was really happy with them.

Overall, the roofing job is doing well. Problems with old roof are gone, and after several heavy rains, I have no complaints to the worksmanship. My only complaint is to the cleanup. Nails are a plague, and considering the thousands of nails (exterior finish nails, really), I guess they did a decent job. Still, I found quite a few and sent them back for a secondary sweep. Don't rely on them to pick them all up. The second sweep was still not a thorough job. Don't know how common this is with other roofers. Also, I ran the attic fan a couple months later. The fan made a horrible clanging noise. When I turned it off, an old wood shake fell out of the vent. A testament to their poor cleanup. Still, I would recommend them for the quality roof. But be diligent with them regarding cleanup.

I have a big house and there was a lot of work to do. Overall the work went well. They did very well in cleaning up as I expected. I had a very old house and there was lot of mess but they did a really good job of cleaning up the mess. They were cognizant of the architecture of an old house. So when they put the roof on they put it on like a hipper was around the house and they put it like a curve as it was. So they understood how the architecture was supposed to look and they did right. So for an old house they did a good job. Price wise they were in the middle as I had some lower bids as well as some higher bids than them. They were not completely done and they finished all work which is great. When they were putting the ladders upon one of the gutters the one contractor that they contracted actually crushed the gutters and they have now not being responding when I talked to them. They didn’t replace it yet. I initially contacted them to sort the project by May and it took them for ever to get back to me and to come back with the bid. The actual person who took the contract never turned to his office as they fired him for several reasons. My wife had to go down to their office and ask as to what was going on. They came on the date that they said they were going to start but it took ever for them to get it started. They were very professional. The people who worked were very professional and very open everything about what they were going to do. I would not use them again.

Before I found Angie's list got 2 roof bids from companies a business associate recommended. Pyramid was over a thousand dollars higher so I chose the other company( who did not do gutter work) for the roof but still wanted to accept the gutter bid of $1,228.00 from Pyramid. I called several times and waited a month without reply from Todd Rohan. Called again to clarify to receptionist..."I AM ACCEPTING THE GUTTER BID" . Another 3 weeks without a call back. I called and was insistent with the receptionist that I stay on the line till I get an answer...WOW my bid was not accepted and they needed something faxed. After faxing the paper work another month goes by ... more calls and messages from me to Todd Rohan. Finally Todd calls and says " We gave your number to another gutter guy and he will call you" Of course that I never got that call. Hurray! I found Angie's list within 1 week I had several competent reliable bids and 3 weeks later I had new gutters. I nominate Angie's list to my wall of happiness i nominate Pyramid Roofing to wall of shame

At my request, the Pyramid Roofing crew supervised by Salvador Perez: + Did not place a ladder against my house, thereby eliminating the risk of scratching the new gutters and new paint. + Avoided damaging two splash guards located where the two halves of this duplex are joined in the front. When it became necessary to remove one of these two splashguards, the crew supervisor took the initiative to inform me in advance that this would occur, explained the reason for doing it, and told me that the splashguard would be re-installed. And it was re-installed to my satisfaction. + Placed a very large tarp over the entire surface of my new concrete driveway to protect it from unsightly marks caused by roofing materials falling on it and effectively secured the tarp in place to prevent the wind from moving it. + Used a tarp to cover an evergreen shrub and decorative stones. + Placed two 4 ft by 8 ft plywood panels in front of my garage door to protect it from roofing materials removed from or installed on our neighbor's side of this duplex. The bottom edge of the plywood was placed on the tarp that covered the driveway to help secure it against the wind. + Was very careful to minimize the amount of debris that fell into my gutters and removed those few pieces of debris that did fall into my gutters. + Diligently prevented debris from falling onto my yard and roof. During the two days it took to re-roof my neighbor's house, not one piece of debris fell into my back yard and only a few small pieces fell onto the tarp that covered my driveway. I consider this to be a remarkable accomplishment because it was very windy all day during the first day. In sharp contrast, I have often observed roofers from other companies throw wrappings from roofing materials into the air where the wind scattered them all over the neighborhood. + No food and beverage containers used by the Pyramid Roofing crew blew into my yard or any other yard. This, too, is quite different from what I've observed happen with crews from other roofing companies. + The flashing in a valley of my house that is overlapped on one side by my neighbor's shingles was left in place and not damaged during the removal of old roofing materials and the installation of new underlayment and shingles. In addition to doing everything I requested and more, I observed many other actions that I judge worthy of praise. In the interest of space, only some of them are described below. + The crew supervisor, Salavador Perez, took the initiative several times to solicit my feedback about the work in progress. This was a refreshing experience because it has been my personal experience that the contractors I've hired have rarely asked for my feedback about the services they provided me. + Salvador Perez patiently answered my many questions using words that I understood, not the jargon of the roofing industry. + Crew members quickly moved their trucks when neighbors requested so neighbors at the end of this cul-de-sac could more easily drive into/out of their driveways. + Starter strips were used not only on the bottom edge of the roof deck, but along the side edges as well to better secure the side edges of each row of shingles against the wind. + Six nails were used to secure each shingle to the roof deck, not the usual four. + On his initiative, Salvador Perez, the crew supervisor, told me that heat from a torch had blackened a small area of paint on my house in a place not visible from the ground and offered to touch up the area. + Gary Brown and Salvador Perez thoroughly analyzed a valley where leaks occurred in the past to determine how best to prevent future ice and water leaks. Located between the two halves of this duplex, the valley extends from the front to the rear. Gary and Salvador then used several different kinds of roofing material to create a multi-layered, inter-locked, tight seal against ice and water along the full length of this valley. + The crew supervisor, Salvador Perez, spent a relatively small proportion of his time participating in the re-roofing of my neighbor's house. He spent the biggest proportion of his time performing two critical tasks: - Supervising the job performance of his crew by communicating expectations, observing their work in progress, providing resources, giving feedback, and praising their work when appropriate. - Managing relations between Pyramid Roofing and the customer, myself, and several neighbors by answering questions and explaining what was being done. To summarize, I am extremely pleased with the due diligence used by Pyramid Roofing to prevent damage of any kind to the roof, air vents, siding, garage doors, driveway, and yard of my half of this duplex. And I was not their customer! Because of what they did on my behalf, I strongly recommend Pyramid Roofing, and especially Salavador Perez, his crew, and Gary Brown to anyone who requires roofing services.

They did a good job so far. My overall experience is good. I would not use them in the future.

Pyramid worked with us to determine tile type and color of tile, along with gutter color. Jeremy was informational and answered all my questions. He recommended a tile type that would provide a longer guarantee and an insurance rate decrease. He kept this all within the dollars allowed by my insurance company. I felt even more confident in Jeremy after my insurance agent told me the same things Jeremy had without me mentioning any of our discussion with my insurance agent. Obviously roofing is expensive and knowing I was getting the best value for my money relieved alot of my anxiety. The actual roofers were polite and tried to be as unobtrusive as a roofer can possibly be. They were on time and each night everything was cleaned up. They were troopers who worked long hours in the very hot sun. I could find nothing wrong with their work, not even a stray nail. The individuals that did the gutters surprised me by showing up without any notification. I just happened to be home that day. They did the work quickly and even added a couple of extra rain blockers that were not there previously to help divert water to a better route. I was very pleased. Although I called Pyramid based on my insurance agent's recommendation, I did not feel the need to call any other company after meeting with Jeremy. I felt they would take care of us and they did. I did recommend Pyramid to my neighbors who had not made their final decision on their roof repair and would to anyone else in the future.

Office staff was great. Salesman was great and not pushy. Crew was professional, did a great job and cleaned up well after the job was done. No debris left behind.

I didn't use Pyramid Roofing because their bid was outrageous and I doubt the service rep even got on the roof to inspect the damage.
