Description of Work: The workers they use are not experienced carpenters and communication wasn't easy sine they don't speak English. Be wary, if they find a problem with your roof they should provide that repair service since you are paying them for their services! I had to pay another contractor to fix what they wouldn't do. They were partially responsible for the issue too.

While we appreciated the opportunity to re-roof [Member Name Removed]'s home, there were significant rafter framing issues that were out of our control. We re-roofed a section of [Member Name Removed]'s roof (for free) after allowing her to chose a carpenter / framer (of her choice) to fix the structural issues with rafters. Pyramid stood behind the roofing work and communicated with her about her options and saw the project to it's completion.

Description of Work: We hired Pyramid to replace our roof in 2012. We were finally able to get on the schedule months after hiring Pyramid. October 2012 the roofing truck showed up. Guerrero Roofing was the company that came to do the work. We had no idea that Pyramid was not doing the work. Very loud, very noisy, very messy and the work was a mess. We had nails popping out of the ceiling in the interior of the house all over the place. Once the job was complete there were many areas of poor workmanship. Broken shingles were used, overlap was bad, there is to this day a ripple on the overhang above our garage doors. Had we wanted to higher Guerrero Roofing for a cheaper price we would have but instead we paid Pyramid full price for them to contract the work out to a lesser company.

Told us that they use their own roofing employees for their roofing jobs. They didn't. We couldn't communicate with them at all. On the second or third day of working, I walked into our master bathroom and noticed that the whole sink and floor area was covered with roofing trash. There was a huge piece of metal in our sink. We didn't know they were removing the skylight at that time and we could have been hurt. They didn't clean up well at all and we had several issues about the shingles and dented vents. We were sent an invoice before we were even contacted about whether the work was completed. After numerous calls to and from the main office and their foreman,(they wanted payment) they told us that they had no authority over the roofers that put on our roof. It took weeks for the foreman to finally come out and make a few repairs to make the roof acceptable. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

THE ROOFING JOB WAS A LONG TIME IN GETTING STARTED AND ONCE IT WAS STARTED THE BASIC PART OF THE JOB WAS COMPLETED IN 3 DAYS. There IS STILL FLASHING TO COVER AND THE COMPANY HAS BEEN NOTIFIED. The GUTTERS ARE NOT DONE YET WHEREAS THE ROOFING JOB WAS STARTED AND MOSTLY COMPLETED OVER 3 WEEKS AGO

Description of Work: SINCE INSTALLATION OF ENTIRE NEW ROOF & GUTTERS 4Q '02 STILL UNDER WARRANTY, WATER LEAKING IN BATHROOM/HALL CEILING AREAS WHERE 4'' CAST IRON STACK GOES THROUGH CEILING, BEHIND WALL, TOWARD ROOF. NEW BOOT INVERTED BY ROOFERS-THEY CAULKED TRYING TO STOP LEAK. PYRAMID SINCE SAYS IT'S A PLUMBING ISSUE. SEVERAL PLUMBERS SAY AREA IN ATTIC IS WET & IT'S PYRAMID'S RESPONSIBILITY. WATER WORKS PLUMBING INDICATES THE PVC EXTENSION PIPE SECTION INSTALLED IN DEC. '05 BY ROOFERS (STACK RECENTLY DISAPPEARED-PHOTOS PROVE STACK WAS THERE AT INITIAL INSTALLATION) IS NOT PROPERLY & SECURELY CONNECTED TO 4'' CAST IRON STACK AS IT CAN BE TWISTED AND LIFTED UP FROM ON TOP OF ROOF. APPEARS 3'' PVC HAS BEEN MERELY PUSHED INSIDE OF CAST IRON. AT TIME OF QUOTE, PYRAMID INSURED THAT ALL STACKS/VENTS WOULD BE ATTACHED PROPERLY. PURPOSE OF NEW ROOF WAS LEAKS AND THIS PROBLEM AREA WAS SPECIFICALLY POINTED OUT AT TIME OF QUOTE! APPEARS TO BE LEAKING AROUND CHIMNEY STACK ALSO THAT NEEDS.

The member's roof first leaked 9/30/03. At this time the leak was coming from the furnace pipes base flashing. Pyramid does not replace HVAC items but we did for the member for she would not have to hire a Heating & Cooling Company. After we replaced the base we had the inside damage fixed. On 3/14 we received all shingles from back of home, installed ice & water shield a great product and reroofed back of house for no charge, not to many companys would have fixed inside damage that was in question and reroofed back of house. Last time the roof leaked? was 10/05. I was in Coffeyville KY working. The member called and we sent a repairman over the next day and he pulled PVC pipe out of 4" cast iron pipe. The problem with the pipe is the roof has an add on over so 4" cast iron pipe does not go beyond roof line. So when she called about first leak we discovered that 4" PVC was sitting on top of cast iron pipe. So we inserted 3" pipe inside. So we will run hose down pipe to see if is leaking. I believe it is. I have seen lots of leaks coming from plumbing vent pipes. So I feel Pyramid Roofing Company has went above & beyond to take care of this customer. I will run water hose on 3/21 weather permitting and if the pipe is leaking I feel we have no liability in this matter. Joe Shepard, Supervisor, Pyramid Roofing Co

GREAT! THE PRICE WAS $500 BELOW ANY OTHER BIDS I RECEIVED. THE NEW ROOF IS A 30 YEAR TEMCO. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED IN ONE DAY. ALL DEBRIS WAS REMOVED.

IT TOOK US OVER A MONTH TO GET THEM TO CALL US AND COME TO OUR HOME. THE APPROXIMATE BID FOR THE REPAIRS DOES NOT INCLUDE COSTS OF REPAINTING THE CEILING IN THE HOUSE WHICH IS VAULTED.
Description of Work: I HIRED PYRAMID OVER 7 YEARS AGO TO INSTALL A COMPOSITE ROOF ON OUR HOME. THE ESTIMATE AND CONTRACT INDICATED THAT THEY WOULD INSTALL NEW FLASHING AROUND OUR 4 SKYLIGHTS. IN DEC 2004, WE DISCOVERED LEAKING WITH THE SKYLIGHTS & HAD THEM COME BACK OUT. THEY ADMITTED THAT THE FLASHING WAS THE ORIGINAL FLASHING W/CEDAR SHAKE AND THAT IT WAS NOT REPLACED. SINCE THE ROOF IS NOW OUT OF WARRANTY, THEY WILL NOT FIX THE SKYLIGHTS AT NO COST. THE ESTIMATE WAS $485 PER SKYLIGHT TO INSTALL NEW STEPFLASHING, FLUBACKS INCLUDING NEW SHINGLES TO ENSURE NO FUTURE LEAKS. WE NOW HAVE DAMAGE TO CEILINGS, ETC. WHAT'S ASTOUNDING IS THAT THEY ADMIT THEY DID NOT DO THE JOB COMPLETELY IN THE BEGINNING AND BASICALLY "LIED" TO US AND NOW WE ARE TO PAY FOR THEIR SCREW-UPS.
