I was concerned about the amount of “roofing debris” I was seeing coming off my roof and the gutters needed cleaning so I called and they said in addition to the cleaning they would do an inspection. The guy came on time and was very efficient. I was relieved to hear that my roof was not in immediate need of replacement, but I had them send me an estimate. They followed up the inspection by mailing the written estimate and also called to see if I had any questions.

Called them out for an estimate. Showed the rep who came a valley that leaked in heavy rain with a south wind, and that tended to ice dam and leak in the winter. Also, leaking roll roofing over my covered deck. Asked him to do a general inspection for hail damage and anything else. He told me what he thought was causing the valley problem. Recommended replacing the 3-tab shingles over one section of shed roofing. I had put cheaper roofing in that area because it can't be seen from the ground. He found a damaged vent boot. Instead of quoting on deck cover, he showed me where to simply caulk it myself. Said there is no hail damage. I was okay with his estimate, so we scheduled the work. Since this work was not an emergency, I agreed to give them several weeks. They came out within an acceptable time frame and did the work quickly and professionally. Cleaned up well when done. In fact, they swept the winter's leaves off the patio around where they were working and neatly set up the outdoor furniture, which was a jumble when they arrived. I have not yet had a good storm or ice to test the valley, but I have no reason to doubt the quality of their work. I saw it with the old shingles off around the valley, and with the new ones on, I can't even tell that work was done. Very good match. Pending a rain storm, I'm very happy and would be glad to use them again.

They did get all the gutters cleaned. I have a very large pin oak tree and I had quite a few acorns in the gutters. I had been trying to clean them up so I wouldn't have tiny acorn trees growing in my grass. I did notice that when they flushed the gutters, I had a pile of acorns that were not removed. It's not that big a deal but I did have to clean them up.

Very professional. Took a little while to get the work scheduled, but wasn't a time-sensitive issue. No complaints.

Emailed Larry off your website and he called back right away even though it was the weekend. Larry came early the next morning as promised and completed the job promptly. Would certainly recommend Larry and use him again

They didn't call before they showed up, which freaked my wife out, that someone was up there walking on the roof and she didn't know they were coming. Their work was fine. We didn't like that they just came over and got on the roof without telling anyone. I think my wife knew they were going to come today, but they should have called beforehand or at least knocked on the door. I thought the work itself was fine. I didn't have any issues with the quality of the work. I probably wouldn't recommend to others that they go with the Big Deal, because it's a little bit of a bait-and-switch. Anyone can do the physical work. It was the lack of communication and stuff that set them apart.

The team from sales to cleanup was very responsive and we're very happy with our roof. The only complaint I had was a large mess in the garage (since there's no ceiling in there and we didn't know to cover everything) that the company was happy to clean up (very thoroughly I might add, he even organized all our stuff!) Very happy with this company.

It turned out fine. There was some damage to the skylights on the interior and they said they would pay for the cost to get it repaired. The cleanup was good. They sent out a crew of about 12 to do the job and they were finished in about 3 days. They didn’t tear off the whole roof at once and only the sections they were going to replace that day.

I really liked this company and the bid came in second on pricing. They sent out a person to measure and inspect the needs of the roof. Then a sales rep (and experienced roofer) came out to present the bid in person. We had a good explanation of needs and why the cost was what it was. If anything, the delay between the measurement and the bid presentation hurt this company. The company we went with provided the bid the same day as the measurements, so we had longer to think about it. That first impression and immediate deliverable (that was about $500 less) is what helped make our decision to go with them. We were comparing the winning bid company to the others the whole time...so it came down to this last bid coming in to the one that was the "favorite" already from the other bids.

They did a great job meeting with my insurance company and working through the claims process. They where very good about giving me options on materials and gave me great advice on how the different materials would perform. The work was performed on time and appears to be of high quality. They did a very good of cleaning up, you would never know they were here.

They cleaned my gutters, repaired gutters and wood. Painted.

Thought the wait of several weeks was too long and then they could only tell me they would be there sometime that week. From outward appearances, the work looks good, nothing leaks. The person doing the work was nice, explained things when I asked, and he cleaned up nicely. My biggest complaint is that no one mentioned I would not be able to pay by credit card. I have never worked with a company that does not provide this option, especially when the costs generally run high. I wonder how many people can come up with almost $1000 in cash/check. That should be communicated up front. Frankly, I would not have been able to use this company had I known, which maybe why it wasn't mentioned.

My roof was in need of a tune-up and minor repairs on a few ridge caps. The service was excellent from start to finish and was worth every penny!

All went well. Contacts were friendly and professional Work was scheduled in good time.

They didn’t charge me even though my gutters were longer than the Big Deal limit. There were no additional fees. It was good. They had a good strategy to sell their roofing services as well.

I purchased a roof maintenance package through the website for $99. Due to the winter weather, we had to reschedule a couple of times. The receptionist was always pleasant and apologetic when she called to reschedule. Once the weather cleared up, the serviceman was able to come out and safely evaluate my roof. He was punctual , and very personable. I liked the fact that he took the time to tell me about the history of the company, and about his own personal job experience. It made me feel at ease. I had a couple of missing shingles replaced, flashing around the roof penetrations addressed, and other odds and ends. I would highly recommend this company.

The service provided was fine. They came out and did the work. They also cleaned the back porch with branches and such.

The team was here for only two days and did a fantastic job. Couldn't be happier with the new roof.

The estimate came in quickly, but it was over a month before the job was atually scheduled. On two occassions I was told it would be done by a certain date, and it was not. When I called regarding the timing they were unapologetic and simply told me when they could get to it.

Great communication and friendly service from the company. Our gutters were quite dirty, in part due to new-construction dust, from the lot that abuts our property. The serviceman was polite, communicated well, and thorough. Next time I need this service, I'll call Larry Vaught.

purchased an angies list big deal for gutter cleaning. Bill called 30 minutes before he would be there, showed up on time and cleaned the gutters. He also pointed out some areas on the roof that may need attention but did not pressure me to let him quote the work or even pretend like it was urgent that somthign be done, just some areas to keep an eye on. The thing I was most impressed with is that the coupon was for 100 linear feet of gutters - and he only charged me for the dirty parts. I expected to get charged for more because I have more than 100 linear feet of gutters, but he said the parts that needed cleaning were less than that so we were all even. That type of honesty and customer service go a long way with me!!

I use this company frequently. They always go above and beyond what I purchased. In this case, they had to point out to me that I had more gutters than the deal covered, but they did it anyway this time because they felt bad that it was in the fine print. I told them I wasn't looking for anything for nothing and he said "Look, my guy's already in the truck and we've got it scheduled. We want to keep your business. I'd rather just do it for you if we can." They're clearly in business for the long haul.

Awesome service with quality guttering.We had called another company and we could never get them to show up to do the work. We would most certainly recommend Larry Vaught roofing.Good working crew and they did a great clean up when they were finished.The guttering works like a charm and still looks new!

He went up on our roof and actually climbed around and looked at it and made very detailed drawings and looked at everything up there but some of the other companies took aerial pictures and my husband being business personnel (a lawyer) he just liked that he went up on our roof and looked at it. They spent a lot more time figuring it out and he liked what they proposed as it was very detailed without even asking too many questions. We made a decision to go with them. They were the last one that came in simply because they wanted to get on the roof. They actually sat up there for about two hours. It was a part of his contract that I had to call other companies and say I didn’t chose them and I felt bad that I couldn’t pick all four of the other providers. He was a detailed guy so we liked that better. They pay attention to details because that made a big difference and I told him that. I said we are getting a job done through them because of the detail. They actually went to look at the roof and draw everything out. Two of them did aerial things and my husband wasn’t certain if that was very accurate and we couldn’t understand how they figured it out with that. We have a lot of different slants to our roof and it is a big house so we were concerned that it might end being more money. My husband liked the fact that it was drawn out and sincere in that matter and physically measured.
