About us

Larry Vaught started our company in 1967. His sons started working here when they were 14 years old, worked their way through college, and now run this family owned business. Our company typically employs between 20 and 30 full time roofers. Through various training programs and weekly meetings, our employees are kept up to date on all aspects of proper installation methods. We do it all by the book! A discount coupon for Angies List customers is provided in our display ad. No down payment is required. Invoices are mailed after jobs have been completed and payment is due in 30 days unless other terms are negotiated. We always carry proper general liability and workmans compensation insurance, have occupational licenses for all greater Kansas City municipalities, and maintain all applicable contractor licenses.

Description of Work: This is the second time we have used this company. Excellent work and they go the extra step. The gentleman fixed the lose shingles after all the wind we have had here and did a great job. We appreciate him looking over the roof for anything that needed some work.

Description of Work: Representative of the company came out as requested to evaluate the existing roof. After nailing all loose nails, he gave me a verbal report and estimate of new roofing including time limit when needed. This was followed up in a week with a fully detailed report and estimate. Description of Work: Although I did not purchase any services from them, they were very prompt for the appointment I scheduled for inspection of my roof. I had someone come by my home and tell me that I needed a new roof and they would get it covered by my insurance company. This just did not seem right to me so I called Larry Vaught for a second opinion. They thoroughly inspected my roof and chimney and made some recommendations for minor repairs that needed to be done. I very much appreciated their honesty and will definitely use them when I do have the work done.

Highly Recommended!!
Description of Work: We purchased the Angie’s list special to have our gutters cleaned and roof inspected. They arrived on time and were very professional. Before their arrival we informed them of a skylight in our bathroom that had started leaking. They inspected the skylight and determined it was not installed correctly. They also noticed a few other repairs that needed to be addressed on our roof. They left us with a detailed estimate of all repairs. We were able to choose to have all or some of the repairs done. The prices quoted were very fair. We opted to have the skylight fixed. Communication was outstanding! Our skylight no longer leaks and were have a roofing company that we can count on in the future. Everything about this experience was positive! Highly Recommended!!
