They came and gave me an estimate and they showed up when they said they would. They were fine. Their price was significantly higher than four other roofers.

Great! They came out quickly to give me an estimate. It did take a bit to get the actual work done as they were busy due to various storms that hit the area.

When I called to request a visit to give me an estimate to have our roof damage repaired, a representative came to our home the very next morning, replaced the roof cap shingles, and resealed several areas around our chimney that were starting to look worn. The price for the work done was very reasonable. The representative was very knowledgeable and professional. Very happy with the work done - I will absolutely use this company again.

We paid for the Angie's List Big Deal, but we had to pay an additional $1300 for the roof, bringing the total to over $7000. I wasn't all that surprised about that since similar reviews of Big Deal purchases nearly always have added costs. They were very responsive and professional. They finished in two days.

The person who came out to bid the job could not find the location of the leak. He suggested replacing almost an entire half of my roof to fix a small leak. He gave me a bid for $1500. I suggested to the roof guy that it might be by the chimney but he told me it was not. I had another contractor bid the job, who found the leak easily by the chimney. It was an easy $250 fix.

These people are wonderful. They had warned me that it was possible to break the skylight when they lifted it up and they may have to replace it. However, that did not happen and they were able to repair it. More unscrupulous contractors would have replaced it but they didn't. I was very very impressed with the level of professionalism they extended to me.

The gentleman who came out the first night to look at the roof put some caulk around the pipe as a temporary fix. I then approved a permanent repair. They were to let me know when they would make the repair. I never received notice. I just get a bill in the mail. They refuse to show me proof that the work was done. As far as I know, the caulk fixed the problem. I also did not authorize anyone to be on my property without my knowledge. If I don't pay, they will put a lien on my house but they won't prove they did the work. They also claim I agreed to pay any costs for collection but I never signed anything and they won't prove otherwise.

The service went very well. I speak highly of him. They came out within three days after I purchased the Big Deal. They had to wait a day because it was raining. They called and explained why they could not be there the day they said. They sent a man out. He was there about an hour-and-a-half, did everything I asked, and did a good job. I sold the house and I had a couple of pieces of the fly shingles that were loose. He spent about an hour, did even more than what I had expected, and did not charge me more than the $99 Big Deal package.

I requested an estimate through Larry L Vaught roofing website. They replied with a confusing email about when they would come out to give the estimate so I called them. I told them what I wrote in the request for an estimate. I have a Master Flow rooftop attic fan and the motor needs replaced. The housing unit is still in good shape so just a new motor is all that's needed. I was put on hold for about 5 minutes and when the guy came back on the line he said they could replace the vent but not the motor. I told him that defeats the purpose of the estimate. I told him they my want to get themselves removed from the Master Flow website showing them as a Master Elite Contractor. It seems business want to plaster their information all over websites just to be seen.

Larry Vaught's crew headed up by Travis, ripped off our old wood roof and installed new decking and a GAF Grand Sequoia composition roof. They did a terrific job. The crew was professional, worked hard and cleaned up every day before leaving. Despite rain delays they completed the job in less than a week. What we especially appreciated is that the crew was not subcontracted out. Every man on the job is an employee of Larry Vaught, each with a lot of years of experience. They all took pride in their work. Travis is personable and very conscientious about letting us know if they found problems of any sort. When the job was complete, Jose took special pains to point out a problem we have with the siding over our front porch. We appreciate it and can be specific with a siding contractor when we start working to fix the problem. There was a mishap with an electrical connection that was too close to the roof deck. They called in an excellent electrical company to repair the electrical line. We got three quotes before we decided on Larry Vaught's company. Vaught was the highest but we were the most comfortable with the amount of detail their salesman, Chris, went into. He described every aspect of the job and made sure it was outlined in the contract. There was no "oh if we find something, we will fix it" nonsense. We got that from the other two companies we had contacted for quotes. Vaught appeared to be the most knowledgeable and thorough in their approach. The follow through was exactly what Chris told us it would be. Several of our neighbors have commented positively on the looks of our new roof and also how neat the roofing team was throughout the process. We are very happy with Larry Vaught and will refer the company in the future.

Prompt, Reasonable, and Reliable (PRR! Makes me happy!) Couldn't ask for more! We had several roofing contractors that gave us an "estimate" from the ground. We had another that showed up, not once, but twice without a ladder, even after we told them to bring a 40'. Not these guys! One trip for quote, and it was on time, one trip for fix and it was done well, and on time. Billed us later and the actual final bill was a little lower than the estimate. Will recommend to anyone and definitely use them again.

They did a great job. We've had some heavy rainstorms and it doesn't leak at all. They know what they are doing and did a good job. They are all over the area.

The installer arrived early in the morning. He removed the roof tiles from the location for the install of the deck venting. He made the one inch wide by four foot long cuts into the roof line for the vent. After installing four of those (2 front /2 back) and then two exhaust vents on the front. Plus he then resealed older vents and around the chimney. He stayed until nearly five pm finishing up and cleaned the entire area. So far I'm very happy with the work done.

Have used them for 3 years for gutter cleaning, spring and fall. First two years they did a decent job. Last fall, one man came and did not even clean out all the gutters. I called and he returned to clean the gutters which he "missed" on the front of the house and I was informed that they no longer will flush out the downspouts. Really is quite useless to clean out the gutters if the downspouts are clogged. My husband mistakenly arranged to have them come out again to clean the gutters. He set up the first available appointment when he could be here, thinking they would do a decent job if he was here. After waiting for the appointment day for two weeks, some guy called to say he was on his way to do an estimate for gutter cleaning! We seriously had to wait two weeks to get an estimate for gutter cleaning on a house that they done service on for the past three years! No way to get around it, they would only come out today for an estimate, then would put us back on a waiting list to come out and actually clean the gutters some time in the next few weeks. Horrible customer service!

I am very satisfied with Larry L. Vaught Roofing. They inspected two skylights that were leaking, gave me an estimate, and scheduled the repairs. They arrived when they said they would. Very professional salesman. Answered all questions. Got 3 quotes. Vaught was higher but I really liked the fact that they had their own crews and foremen. I believed that I would get better quality from a crew that was being paid by the company on a regular basis rather than a crew that was hired in and paid by the square. So I asked if they could reduce their price. They came back with a reasonable discount. They were still higher by about 6% but I was willing to pay more for their crew and the way they did business. They told me that it would be approximately 6 weeks before they could fit us into their schedule. And it was about 6 weeks when they came in to start. The salesman was there to introduce the two foremen on the job. All I can say is that they met every expectation that I had. The crew members were pleasant. They were extremely careful about protecting the house. They carted off the scrap each day. They answered any questions we had. Their equipment was up to date and looked well maintained. They did an excellent job of cleaning up afterwards. And the roof looks great. I would recommend these people to anyone looking to replace a roof.

I just got off the phone with Larry Vaught Roofing Sales Representative Chris Morgan and he indicated Vaught Roofing regrets that they are unable [or unwilling] to perform the roof repair at the price Vaught Roofing provided to my insurance company. This was quite surprising to me. I scheduled an estimate based on the rating for Larry Vaught Roofing that appeared on Angie?s List. When Mr. Morgan discussed the initial estimate with me, the insurance company's adjusted valuation for the roof repair of $3,900 was low for the repair which he estimated at $4,580 for a shingle comparable to the one I have on my home. At that time I agreed to have the work performed by Vaught Roofing on the condition that an upgrade from the GAF Royal Sovereign to the GAF Timberline roof be provided at no additional expense to me and that negotiations for the additional cost would be made by Vaught with State Farm. I signed the proposal and submitted it to the insurer. Larry Vaught Roofing submitted an estimate to my insurance company for $4,147, which was lower than the estimate provided to me, but then refused to perform the work at the price they submitted to the insurance. The refusal was for both the comparable shingle and the upgraded shingle promised in their initial proposal to me. On the back of Vaught's proposal it includes an article from the Kansas City Star Business Section of the newspaper, which quotes Larry Vaught as saying you want to be known as a person who does ?what you say you?re gonna do.? However, they were unwilling to perform the work for the price they submitted to my insurance company. I am disappointed that Vaught Roofing was unable to honor their proposal and dissatisfied with the outcome. Everyone I interacted with, Roof Inspector Charles Vaught, Scheduler Don [last name unknown], and Chris Morgan were always punctual and responsive to inquiries.

This is the 2nd time I've used Larry Vaught roofing. They were punctual, fair, honest, trusting... I can't say enough. I trust them totally to do the work hired to do. 100% satisfied twice.
