Our skylight had been leaking for quite awhile. They installed the new one. We've had some rain since and it does not leak. It is so clear I keep thinking there's nothing there. They put down a big blue tarp to protect the great room while they did the work and left it for us to keep. :-) They did the roof repairs they said they would do.

It went very well. The person was knowledgable and quick.

We signed the contract on 8/8/2011 knowing that due to the high demand for Larry Vaught replacement roofs, that work would not start until Jan-Feb, 2012. Work actually started on Friday 1/27/2012 and except for the weekend, continued until the following Friday. At the end of each work day, the crew removed all the debris. The work went very smoothly and without any issues or problems. When we needed some equipment and materials moved so that we could get out of our garage, it was quickly and willingly taken care of. We were very impressed with the quality of their work, their professional crew, and the finished appearance of the new roof. We feel the new roof adds to the perceived value of our home. The day after the crew left, I noticed that some of the lightning rod wires were sagging and needed to be tightened. I called the company and two days later I saw the repair had been completed while we were out shopping. Since then we have found no leaks or other issues. We expected a high-quality roof replacement and certainly got it!

They were here the next day to inspect the roof and identify the problem. It turned out that the flashing around an exhaust pipe needed caulking so they re-caulked that pipe and another one to prevent problems and only charged $25. We were expecting the worst and were very pleased that the problem was minor and taken care of so quickly. We greatly respected their honesty and professionalism. I will definitely call them again.

Very professional. I highly recommend them. They were able to finish the job in one day. I had a very negative experience with a previous roofer who scammed me. Vaught's team really reached above and beyond. Our original date was on a Friday but it rained out, and they actually finished the job on a Saturday. Great experience.

He was courteous and quick at what he came to do, and I would recommend this company to roof work.

He arrived on time with all equipment he needed and cleaned out all of our gutters and inspected our roof. We bought the service on a Big Deal and could not be happier. He did a superb job.

They came out to inspect my roof and gutters for maintenance and cleaning needs. It turned out I didn't need to have any work done. I asked why I had seen rain overflowing the back gutter. They pointed out that the rain had been very heavy. Suggested that I observe the gutters during rainfall. If I continue to have overflow problems, the issue could actually be with the in-ground drains, not the gutters, and might require the services of a plumber. (Since then it's been too dry for me to have a chance to check this out.) What impressed me was (1) their responsiveness and willingness to take time to answer my questions; and (2) that they were honest about what the problem might be, instead of simply trying to make a sale.

I like many others in KC we were impacted by the devastating storms of 4-3-11. I thought our roof was fine, but finally decided to have someone look at it in early June 2011..the news was not good and after confirmation from the insurance adjuster, I reluctantly took the initial steps to engage a roofer. There were many to pick from in South JOCO, no matter where you drove you saw the trucks and heard the noise of roof replacement. We ended up choosing Larry Vaught Roofing and waited a year for their services, and I am so glad we did. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate LVR a 9.99...and here's why. They delivered on everything they said they would do! All my interactions with the Mike Vaught in Office, Don who manages crews, and Rusty who Supervises the crew were spot on. All questions answered, sometimes twice and all calls returned. This company understands customer service and it's not an extra effort for them, just their way of doing business.The crew lead by Rusty, worked well together and respected our home. They arrived on time, worked cohesively and the clean up was extraordinary. When you tear off a wood shingle roof you expect a lot of debris, not so, it was amazing to inspect the days work and not found any trash. In the end there was one landscape light crushed...Rusty took a pic and the next day, voila new light arrived! They finished the roof on time, (4 days) after which we had gutters installed, we couldn't be happier...hope I'm not jinxing anything thing but the roof is fabulous! Timberline Ultra HD in the color Slate...OMG, we love our roof. Also, if you think this review is too glowing I'd like to state, I am not a relative or friend of anyone at Larry Vaught Roofing, just a discerning customer who appreciates customer service, craftsmanship and quality products.

We noticed some ridge pieces missing from our cedar shake roof, and we routinely use Larry Vaught Roofing for maintenance, so I purchased the Big Deal. The work was done professionally and thoroughly. We also learned from the gentleman who did the work that ridge pieces are really just cosmetic, but still good to keep maintained properly. Apparently, the felt underneath the shingles is what keeps water from leaking in. The felt will last longer if periodic maintenance on the shakes is done. We hope to get another five years or so on the roof before we replace it completely. We've been very happy with Larry Vaught Roofing over the years, so we'll most likely have them put on the new roof when the time comes.

Work was done professionally and thoroughly. The gentleman who did the work was the same one who gave us the bid. He was very pleasant to work with and also cleaned out the gutters while he was working on the roof. He seemed very knowledgeable about the roofing business (as has been our experience with everyone at Larry Vaught Roofing we have dealt with in the past.

Larry Vaught has an outstanding reputation in this area and after the service visit I can see why. They took the time to inspect our roof inside and out and provided an easy to understand explanation of general roof maintenance and the condition of our roof. Their professionalism and knowledge is superb. I would definitely hire them for any roofing work we will require in the future.

I've had several estimates and they are all about the same. I was really pleased with Larry Vaught. They clean up after themselves each day. It looks really good.

They were very good. They are an award winning company and they definitely live up to their reputation. I would absolutely use them again.

PERFECT. We had some shingles missing and not enough vents and had contacted Vaught roofing for these repairs. They came out and gave us a bid and we had set a date for the repair. Then a hail storm hit and we had lots of damage. They came back out and bid for the roof replacement. There was so much hail damage in the area they said it would be in spring 2012 when they could get us scheduled. They came out and made sure we were leak proof to get through winter. Everyone I have had contact with has been very professional and willing to answer all questions. They called several days before to confirm the date for the repairs. I was home that day. The foreman of the crew introduced himself and explained what they were going to do. Everyone worked as a team and the work went quickly. The entire crew was professional and polite. I have to say that lots of the roofing material missed the tarps they laid out around the house and it looked like quite a disaster. Once the roof was complete they all started picking up all the materials and when they left the area was absolutely cleaned up. They were careful of the landscaping and nothing was damaged during the process. Our house is small and the roof uncomplicated so they completed the job in one day. We couldn't be happier with their work and highly recommend them to anyone.

I called for an inspection after a storm and they came out the next day. The inspector made a temporary repair to stop a leak until the job could be done. They worked with me on scheduling and went the extra mile to accommodate my needs. The workmen were competent, professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves so well you wouldn't know they had been here. I would definitely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone!

I did not use this company as I had another company that did an emergency repair for me and I preferred the vents they recommended for my roof.

Thorough inspection was done, cleaned gutters reattached some gutter covers, made several good recommendations for additional repairs and maintenance to extend roof life.Very punctual, knowlegable, professional and thorough.

We had to work around some cold weather to get an appropriate time to get the work done. They called when they coudn't make it because of the weather. I appreciated the thorough explanation of what he saw on the roof. He explained that I probably should have an inspection every few years. I will continue to use them in the future.

Service was excellent. Work completed in a timely fashion. Daily yard cleanup was very much appreciated. Company was extraordinarily cooperative dealing with insurance and city requirements and with scheduling gutter removal and replacement to accommodate painter's schedule.

They did a perfect job. We really liked the estimate and information that they gave us. We also liked the timely manner in which they did the work. They were clean and they fixed everything up. Their estimate was the most expensive of all the ones that we got, but we felt they were worth it.
