Absolute Clean

Was fair and honest in his evaluation of chimney - did a thorough job of cleaning dryer vent.

Absolute Clean's Paul was out very quickly and gave me a reasonable quote on two separate jobs, vent work and concrete work. Paul was very accommodating with scheduling and I got my ideal day and time. Paul completed the vent work himself, and did a fantastic job! Top professional work! The dryer is quieter, faster, and I feel safer in my home by not using the old accordion-style flexi-hose. The concrete pad extension took two days, a few hours the first day for set-up, then dry-time overnight, and back the next day to clean-up and move the washer and dryer back. The concrete workers did a fair job; however they did leave the step portion directly in-front of the washer a little rougher than I would have expected. Overall, a good job and I'm happy with the results, however I did have to drop the quality down one grade due solely to a portion of the concrete finish noted above. Vent work by Paul was outstanding!

They did a great job on my chimney and I was impressed with the cleaning. However, it was very clear that they wanted to look around my house to find something else. They wanted to look at my furnace, ductwork, and air dryer vent. They insisted that it was a very dangerous air dryer vent and that the build-up could cause a fire. When I opened the air dryer vent later, it was perfectly fine. They were fishing for more business, and I didn’t feel comfortable.

Technician showed up on time and was very friendly. He even plugged in the vacuum portion of the sweep outside so as to not create sound disturbances inside my home. In addition, he helped show me how to close a side vent on the fireplace that for the life of me I could not figure out how to close. Afterwards, he left the area cleaner than it was before, and now there are no more wood smells coming from my chimney/fireplace

As advertised. Tried to up sell some other services but that is to be expected.

It was good. I used the deal shortly after I purchased it and I spent about $209 total. We moved to a new house and we needed a cap on the top of the chimney and they did it for us and it was reasonable. They were very prompt, they were very clean and very courteous. I've had no issues since their service.

He did a fine job. He was professional and very nice. He gave me a tip on using a de-humidifier for my basement. He did let me know I had mold in my bathroom and they gave a quote to remove that. I chose not to have that done at this point.

The service turned out very well. He was easy to schedule out. We had him to some additional tuck pointing for the chimney. The additional fee for that was reasonable. He did an excellent job.

We originally purchased the Big Deal for a Chimney Sweep. Absolute Clean showed up and did a quick inspection of our Chimney. It was quickly determined that the Chimney was not safe to use and required extensive repairs. The owner was nice enough to offer another service in lew of the Chimney cleaning. We took him up on the Air Duct cleaning service. They came the next day and did a great job! We really appreciated Absolute Clean working with us and providing exceptional service.

The service worked out fine. They did what they said they were going to do, and the work turned out fine. The interaction with the provider was fine. They were prompt. They were here on time, they did the work, and all was well. We have no complaints.

He was very friendly, did a great job, cleaned up well, was fast, and knowledgable. He explained hazards which was very helpful, and how to deal with some oddities of our fireplace. We hired him to come back and fix our hearth. He offered to give us an equally good price on future clean outs.

A quick review for quick and efficient service. We were able to schedule the chimney inspection and sweeping prior to turning our heat and fireplace on for the winter season. It was a time convenient to us and Absolute Clean showed up on time and walked us through their inspection findings and then cleaned the fireplace thoroughly. A follow up inspection that occurred as the result of some other work we had done confirmed how clean the chimney was. Great work. We'll hire them again in the future.

Beware of the big Deal or you might just throw your money away.

They seemed knowledgeable and were friendly, but looked more or less like a couple of guys off the street who happened to have a shop vac and some chimney brooms. I liked that they were unassuming and didn't try to hard sell me on additional service, but it would have given me additional peace of mind had they been a little more professional-looking.

The service went very well. They tried to minimize dust as much as possible by running the shop-vac from outside. Nevertheless a small layer of ash dust should be expected on your floors and surfaces as ash goes airborne very easily. Be prepared with some swiffer dusters.

Absolute Clean advertised a deal on Angies List for $109 chimney sweep and safety inspection. I was expecting them to go on the roof and clean the chimney from the top down but when the 2 technicians arrived they came into the house with a vacuum system and vacuumed from the bottom up. Never had anyone clean the chimney in that manner before. In the package deal they were supposed to inspect the chimney crown and chimney cap, how could they do that without even going up on the roof? Can't say if they did a good cleaning job because I never saw much soot come down the chimney but that could have been because of the vacuum system. The reason I did not give them a good rating is that after they left my husband inspected the fireplace and found that while they were extending the vacuum system up the flue they had broken a baffle in our wood burning stove and it cost us $64 to replace it. I never called them to report it and give them a chance to make restitution mainly because we just were not happy with the cleaning process and just wanted to end our business with them.

The two gentleman were informative thru the whole process, did a good job and cleaned up in a timely manner!

They cleaned up well. They discovered some mortar problems that will need to be done before we use the fireplace again.

I thought they would just clean/inspect chimney, but he volunteered to check the dryer vents, which I thought was great. He found n o problem. If there was a problem, I would have had an extra charge, but he did not charge for the inspection. I felt the person was very honest.

I cancelled the big deal because I didn't need the service. I got a refund.
