 + 1 moreThe provider was extremely professional. He did two chimney's although I had originally only indicated service for 1 as well as did the tuck pointing for the one fireplace. He walked me through in detailed all of the steps and reviewed with me all of the changes that they made and the service and additional costs were clearly indicated prior to work being completed. After cleaning the chimney they clean up their mess and the one chimney that was in the basement had concrete dust from a sump pump I had put in and they cleaned that up too. Additionally, he went back and corrected something he did not find to his standard even though I don't know that I would have noticed. I would definitely recommended him to others.

 + 1 moreLast fall I bought a house with a gas fireplace, and during the inspection it was noted the damper was blocked. The inspector thought that there was probably debris in the chimney causing the blockage. So I hired Absolute Clean to unblock and clean the chimney. They found that the blockage was caused not by debris but by a piece of mortar protruding from the masonry. In fact the chimney had probably never been used even though the house was 47 years old. So it turned out that there wasn't really a whole lot of chimney sweeping to do as far as build-up, but there was a little debris which they cleaned out, and they checked it to make sure that it was safe to use. They showed me how to turn it on safely and gave me some tips on positioning the logs, and where to buy gas logs if I wanted a different look. Very nice fellows.

 + 0 moreI bought a chimney sweep big deal and it went well. It cost more than the price of the big deal due to the repairs they made. The guys that did it were just a little bit weird. They were kind of socially awkward. They had some difficulties communicating.

I could not believe how it looked like it had just been put in. they did an amazing job and they cleaned up after themselves. The workers were fine. I could not believe the outcome when they were done and it was to our satisfaction.

 + 0 moreHe actually cleaned my sister's chimney too and did some repair work. He charged me extra. The guy who came out and did the work kind of explained everything to me, what caused the cracks and the dangers and stuff. I don't know anything about fire places but he kind of explained it all.

 + -1 moreDavid and his employee were very nice and arrived on time to my house. I could tell David cared about my chimney and making sure it was clean. His employee would clean the chimney and then David would inspect his cleaning job and would get in there himself and clean the spots he saw were still there. This made me feel confident in his work. He patched up all the cracks that I had in the back and bottom of the fireplace for a decent price. They left the area nice and clean after they were done. I will be using Absolute Clean next time I need my chimney sweep.

The fireplace is all set to be used in the fall and they will be back in the spring; I would definitely recommend them to others and will use their services again without hesitation.

 + -1 more, The provider was very professional. My rating is because I thought I was getting a full chimney sweep where they go outside and inspect the stack and top. When I asked they told me I did not purchase that service. They were in and out in 20 minutesmax, that includes setting up and removing their equipment and I did not feel it was a thorough inspection and cleaning, so I feel for the $84.00 I overpaid.
Description of Work: The provider came to the home, inspected the inside of the chimney and firebox, vacumned out the interior.

 + 0 moreWARNING: BAIT AND SWITCH was my experience!!! And don't be fooled by his references to his church. It's just to build your confidence in him/his company.
Description of Work: Angie's List Deal: Chimney cleaning $75. He called to say he'd be late. They arrived in an unmarked, rusting in places, van. David/boss and a very young man arrived at the reset time, David went straight to the chimney in my "new" house declaring not at all in need of cleaning. He said I could use the coupon anytime next year. (He proceeded to check the ventilation and in no time showed me in the furnace panel a mass of what he convinced me is mold and that l had to have my ducts cleaned and that $350 was a competitive price. Instead of small holes in the ducts like a company l'd used years earlier that they closed with a rubber plug. Absolute Clean cut some square foot holes in the ducts and resealed it using chrome tape. Meanwhile the teen found cracks in the firebox that needed epoxy to which l agreed for $40. BIGGEST KICKER, furnace repair tech, (from A+ Harster Htg and Cooling) told me what was sold to me as MOLD, (exact same shape, depth and color as what David sold me the over priced duct cleaning on.) was just a remnant patch of INSULATION!
