Description of Work: We had sewage backing up in the basement when washing clothes, etc. Called and received prompt same day service from Justin. He was very courteous and professional. Using the front yard cleanout, he removed some tree roots that were causing the problem. Very happy with our experience.

Description of Work: They answered the night before when I had a main line plugged. They came out 8AM the next morning. They even called to say they were stuck in traffic and would be 5-10 minutes late. They fixed a broken pipe in the basement bar and tried unplugging the line there but ended up going through the vent on the roof. Wife had put some frozen soup (a few containers full) through the disposal and it clogged up the line. I had ran snakes through several of the lines with no luck. They even gave us an icebreaker for winter as a small token of appreciation for the business. I would definitely use them again. The price was reasonable compared to other plumbers I have used in the past.

Description of Work: Called them for a client to repair slow drain in tub. Was not aware that they are not plumbers. A very nice young man came out and said that he could not fix the problem, he was not a plumber. He told me the name of a plumber to call. Actually called another plumber which I have used before and he said there was no issue with the part AJ said and he took 5minutes and cleared the drain at no charge. My client, an 87 year old woman is having a problem with paying AJ's bill.

Description of Work: It went fine. My sewer lines were backing up into my house. They came the day I called. He spent 2 hours trying to get the lines open. The next day I had my lines looked at with a camera. It showed that there were still a lot of roots and water in the lines. So A and J came back that day and spent another hour working on my lines with no extra charge. Things seem to be working fine now.

Description of Work: After another provider had kept me waiting all day then cancelled and told me they couldn't get to me until Monday (we had sewage backing up in the house after heavy week long rains and could not use any plumbing without causing more to come back in) I called A&J Drain Service at 6:30 pm on a Saturday. When I explained the situation to the owner Marty, he said he would be at my house in 45 mins. ( I found out later that he had been out all day on service calls already) |45 mins later he & his wife Sherry arrived and began working on a solution. My lateral line has a back flow that was not immediately accessible. Marty did not quit |he found a way to get to the area he needed so that he could snake my sewer line. Within 45 mins the line was cleaned out and he did not leave until HE was sure that the line was completely free of any obstructions. I would use this provider and recommend him to anyone needing this type of service. Both he and his wife were professional and very nice!! A Plus!!

Description of Work: Contacted Aries Plumbing; the best of the best and indicated my problem to Rhonda. Based on my problem, Rhonda recommended A&J DRAIN as the number to contact. This all occurred on 3/2. A&J came out on 3/2 afternoon. Due to issue, had to clean out/check out vent on roof. Weather prohibited that, understandably. Safety first, even though I had issue. Sean indicated what could and could not be done during the interim with the household handling of water. Followed his direction. Sherry of A&J Drain religiously followed up. Friday, 3/6, was my chosen date and Sean arrived "earlier" than anticipated schedule which was perfect!!! Did the work, checked to make sure all is well. This job was done perfectly. I will use them for a yearly maintenance as I learned a lot. Sherry could not have been more customer service oriented. She was patient listening to my dilemma and understanding. Sean was very professional, yet personable and showed so much responsibility in making sure the job was done excellently. To date, all is well. I am more than happy with their company.

Description of Work: They were not what I needed. When the service man found that a pipe section needed to be replaced, he said he could not do the task. Apparently there was no one in the firm who could do the job needed and they referred me to a 3rd party who came and said he could not do the job.
