The price was reasonable. They checked my line by using a camera to see if I had problems and I did. So, they didn?t clean it because there was a problem. If they had cleaned it, then it would have made things worse. So, they referred me to another company to fix the problem. If need be, I would use their services in the future too.

I called A & J at 8:00 a.m. and reported a completely stopped-up kitchen sink. My clean-out cap in the basement wall was also rusted and leaking. Marty and Art responded to my call and were at my house shortly after 11.00 a.m., Marty first tried to snake it from the trap under the sink. When this was unsuccessful, he went to the basement clean-out site and tried to empty it from there. He was very helpful about making sure a mess was not made on my brand-new carpet in my finished basement. There was still blockage, so he replaced the cap with a new one and went up on the roof to run the snake all the way down, and he got the drain cleared that way. He and Art were very prompt, professional, and friendly.

I called Marty late on a Friday afternoon and he offered to come that night (at emergency rates) or the next morning (at standard rates). We opted for Saturday morning. Marty and his colleague arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. They cabled our drain and taught us how to better maintain the drain in the future. We were impressed by their knowledge, skill, and professional manner, as well as their ability to quickly fit us into their schedule without charging us emergency rates. We highly recommend their services.

Sent email, received a call early the next business day and they were able to get here right away and fix the problem. Great service, response time and professionalism.

I noticed evidence of a minor sewer backup on a Sunday morning. After two showers and a couple of toilet flushes, it backed up again, but the water quickly went back down. I've had this problem before (old house, settling lot) and knew I needed service within a couple of days. I called Marty at A&J and left a message requesting he come on Monday. He called back in the morning and set an appointment for early afternoon. He and his assistant took care of the problem, gave my system a fairly thorough examination, and gave me the likely causes for the backup and what I should try to prevent future problems. I'm likely to need to replace my lateral line going to the street, but I'm in no hurry to incur the hassle and expense. A&J does a quality and professional job and I would certainly call them first if I need service in the future.

They have always done a good job. We have been happy and will continue to use them.

In the morning I went into our basement laundry room and found the utility sink and laundry facilities backed up with water. After trying unsuccessfully to solve it myself, I called A & J Drain Service around 9:45 am. The very friendly gentleman I spoke to on the phone said that he could have someone out by 3:00 pm. By 2:45 pm. the service worker had arrived, surveyed the situation, and determined how to go about getting the drain unplugged. The solution didn't taken very long. He was an efficient, polite and cheerful individual.

I called him up on a Friday evening and he came out to my house real early next morning. I requested him to call me up before he came to my house as it was a very early appointment at 6.30 in the morning. He did call me before he came. It took 3 hours for him to complete the job. He even went one step further and put for no additional charge. He just did everything. He was a very nice guy and even gave me 2 coffee mugs with his name on it. I have never met anyone that kind and that helpful.

They found the problem and I was very happy with their work.
