I needed repairs to my front porch. I called Quality Carpentry after reading reviews on Angie's List and BBB. Tom was a pleasure to work with and he got my job on his schedule quickly. He worked outside on the porch on one of the coldest days of the year. He is easy to communicate with via text which I find very helpful. He provides email bids which are also nice. He arrived on time and always cleaned up at the end of the day. His carpentry was quality, and he explained his reason for how he would do the repairs. He definitely takes pride in his work. I would definitely hire him in the future.

Requirements to complete the work were explained thoroughly beforehand. The job was completed quickly and with outstanding quality.

Tom installed multiple six panel and bi-fold doors throughout our house. Provided a reasonable quote, purchased the doors, handled delivery, and performed the installation. Tom was very professional, responsive and prompt. He responded to any questions or requests that we had, and ensured that we were satisfied with his work before leaving. All the work performed was excellent. We will definitely be using Tom in the future for additional projects we have to do.

We've used Tom (Quality Carpentry & Remodeling) before so there was no question about contacting him again when we had another carpentry project. We were getting new hardwood installed in our kitchen which was going to result in the floor dropping approximately 1/2". Per his suggestion, we had Tom removed the existing doors / trim a few days before the new floor was installed. He delivered new materials while the floors were being installed so we had time to paint the wood. A day after the flooring was completed, Tom returned and installed the new doors and completed the trim work. We are very pleased with the results as the doors/trim look great with the new floors.

Tom arrived with the materials needed and got the job done in two half-day visits. I was so grateful to have it done! Tom got us on his schedule promptly and the work was very professional. You would never know we had this section of wall removed and replaced.

Tom removed an old basement door and replaced it with a brand new door. Tom’s work is technically superior to all other people who have done similar type of construction projects for me. I have an old house and he took great care in doing the job and even told me he treated my home as if it were his own. He is exactly the type of person you want doing work on your home. In addition to great execution, Tom showed up on the date/time promised, cleaned-up the work space and took the time to explain exactly what he was doing when I asked. I will most definitely be asking for his services on future projects.

Terrific. Very pleased with the work and the conversations that assisted work being done to our satisfaction. I added jobs on that had not been previously bid and was a little startled at the price when we were ready to settle up. Tom's original bid had been all-inclusive so I was not aware of hourly vs. materials etc.) but Tom was very easy to talk with and it was really my ignorance (I come from a long line of having 'my uncle' fix things!) I will absolutely hire again. Honest, hard working, focused. Good at returning emails to iron out any issues. Lots of equipment that he brought in and when he left, it was all removed and the place was left clean.

Tom's work was excellent. My walls were not completely flat for easy installation. He cut & positioned the cabinets perfectly. No mess was left. Tom is responsible & courteous.

Tom did an excellent job taking out an AC unit from our family room wall. He matched the molding perfectly and rebuilt the wall after he removed the AC unit. He matched and replaced the siding on the exterior as well. He was very professional, did an excellent job and rebuilt the interior and exterior of the wall perfectly! Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Tom did a great job changing out 3 hollow core doors in my home for 3 solid core doors. I prefer the sound reduction and solid feel of solid core doors and a previous contractor for my past finished house addition had installed all hollow core doors which I was unhappy with. Tom referred me to his supplier so I could visit and make sure that my selected doors would match well with the remaining existing hollow core doors; as I only wanted to replace the most important ones (which were two bedroom doors and the laundry room door. ) Tom purchased, picked up, installed and painted 2 coats of paint on the doors. He was polite, prompt, did an excellent job, was fairly priced and I am very, very happy with the completed project. Thank you Tom!
