We have hired Tom for multiple jobs over several years. Not only is he a highly skilled and talented carpenter, but he has a wealth of general contracting knowledge in a variety of disciplines. There is not a more punctual, trustworthy, hard-working, or friendly contractor. Tom is always respectful of our home and belongings, and always leaves the work area cleaner than he found it. You can tell that he really cares for the customer, tries to anticipate expectations, and manages to over deliver every single time. Tom did the work in the said manner and time, as promised. I was put in a difficult situation, and thankfully I found Tom. From the review of his work experience, Mr. Van de Reit, appears to be a trusted carpenter and offered a solution that allowed me to keep my room enclosed without the expense of having to tear off and rebuild. He had also told me, he had done work in my street before, So, that being said, I felt he is a trusted individual and worth hiring for carpentry positions.

Tom did a wonderful job adding crown moulding to our cabinets. He communicating well in advising about needed materials and scheduled the job promptly. I was concerned that this would be too small a project, but he said he likes to do one day jobs in between the larger projects.

Tom was here when scheduled and left when scheduled. He was professional and did a great job.

Tom framed out our 3,000 square foot basement, both the walls and ceiling. He also custom build a recessed TV nook. Working with Tom was fantastic. His work was phenomenal - it was precise and all details were well thought out. Working with him was also a pleasure. He assisted us with recommendations and advice around the framing and other areas of the project. We would hire or recommend him without hesitation.

This is the second time that we have worked with Tom and we will continue to work with him in the future. He is incredibly good at communicating, flexible in working with any client, and he's incredibly considerate. We had to adapt more than a few times with a toddler and simultaneous work projects. Tom is always great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone!
