Tom framed out our 3,000 square foot basement, both the walls and ceiling. He also custom build a recessed TV nook. Working with Tom was fantastic. His work was phenomenal - it was precise and all details were well thought out. Working with him was also a pleasure. He assisted us with recommendations and advice around the framing and other areas of the project. We would hire or recommend him without hesitation.

This is the second time that we have worked with Tom and we will continue to work with him in the future. He is incredibly good at communicating, flexible in working with any client, and he's incredibly considerate. We had to adapt more than a few times with a toddler and simultaneous work projects. Tom is always great to work with and I would recommend him to anyone!

I have a very old house, meaning there is quite a bit of improvisation in making sure items, especially woodwork, fit squarely and look good. Tom has lots of experience in this field and did a great job with it. I have had issues, in the past, with contractors following through on the job they were paid to do, so it was great that Tom was open and honest about the process.

Tom did excellent work to shore up sloping floors in my basement. I was looking for a straight-forward contractor with fair pricing that did professional work and Tom checked all of the boxes. I will call him again for my next project.

We had a Pella Slider door and window that needed to be re-framed, as well as roof fascia that was significantly rotted. I had a hard time finding someone who had the right combination of master carpentry skill and excellent reviews to do the job. I am so lucky to have found Tom through Angie’s List and was blown away by the pictures posted of his work, his experience (look up his LinkedIn), and his reputation (see here and BBB). Tom was such a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. He is very friendly and knowledgeable. He returns texts and calls very quickly. He also kept me updated on his schedule until he was able to get to us. He arrived promptly whenever he said he would, and always communicated his progress. Tom’s work is of the highest quality and is absolutely beautiful. The care he takes to make sure that everything is done properly, both cosmetically and structurally was very obvious. I am very picky and I couldn’t find one uneven cut or paint drip…everything he did for us is perfect! He did some things that really went above and beyond like weather barriers and a little lip above the door, so that we won’t have the same rot problem in the future…things that only someone with the utmost skill and experience would think of or take the time to do. Everything we had repaired/replaced looks as if it is original. There was even a mix-up (my fault) about whether we had touchup paint and Tom was more than willing to go and have the paint matched for me last minute. Tom also took care to clean up after himself and leave our property as he had found it. I really felt like Tom took care of our home as if it was his own. He is such a nice and genuine person, who does gorgeous work for a fair price. I am already looking for other projects for him to do for us in the future. I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. Thank you so much, Tom!

I've already told a dozen people about Tom's service, so I might as well tell you. "Nice guy" is a big deal, but trumped by a superb work ethic and a tenacity toward excellence. I especially appreciated that the estimate to contract was very specific, so there were no surprises and my expectations were spot on. After he rescued a deteriorating wall on my balcony, he accomplished something else I needed though it was not his specialty--he bird netted my carport ceiling to prevent bats from nesting there at night. Haven't seen a bat since! Call Tom, primarily for carpentry needs, but also for a great contractor experience.

Tom did an excellent job. He was punctual and very courteous. My only concern was that the bid amount was under what the final cost ended up being. This was because Tom didn't get a good estimate of the cost of the aluminum railings nor did he include the cost to install in his bid. So the bid was under by about $1000. We probably should have asked for more information at the beginning. But the quality of the work was really good and Tom was very good to work with. We would hire him again.

Tom built a floating deck addition. It looks great, very level, awesome job done and done on time. This is my third project with Tom, he always does great work! Will got again for the next one!

Tom and his crew did a wonderful job. They first built our custom fence and recently updated our deck to match. They both turned out beautifully and the quality of workmanship is top notch!

We set up the work withing 1 week of the estimate and the work was completed in one day. Tom took his time and did an excellent job of repairing our bathroom window that was in really bad shape. Tom spent the entire day working on our window issue. The quality of his work and the results of his work were excellent. I highly recommend Quality Carpentry and Remodeling.

Excellent work. Quick, responsive, reasonably priced. The repair is invisible as the paint of the surrounding wall was matched perfectly.

Efficiently. Tom came, gave an estimate within 24 hours. Once we decided to proceed with the project, he gave us a couple options for start dates. This was a turn key project, so nothing was left undone. Tom cleans his work space daily, is organized and gave us a fair estimate for the work to be done. In addition, his work is so professional, the double doors look like they have been there since we built the house 2+ years ago. We are so pleased!

I needed repairs to my front porch. I called Quality Carpentry after reading reviews on Angie's List and BBB. Tom was a pleasure to work with and he got my job on his schedule quickly. He worked outside on the porch on one of the coldest days of the year. He is easy to communicate with via text which I find very helpful. He provides email bids which are also nice. He arrived on time and always cleaned up at the end of the day. His carpentry was quality, and he explained his reason for how he would do the repairs. He definitely takes pride in his work. I would definitely hire him in the future.
