Very well! Tom takes great pride in his work and goes the extra mile to ensure that the job is done right and to the very best of his ability. This was not an easy challenge and Tom nailed it! My wife and I are very pleased with the results. Tom is easy to work with and is very accommodating of the customer's questions and concerns. A great guy and I'd definitely hire him for another project or two.

Tom was great. Pleasant, polite and punctual. He installed some 5-1/2" Polyurethane Crown Molding in our Living Room and did an exceptional job considering our less than perfect, uneven walls. We were so impressed with his work that we're having him do some other projects for us in the near future. Highly recommend him.

Interacting with Tom in getting an appointment set up was great. When Tom arrived he was able to inspect and give proper advice for the condition and future care for our floor joists. Although he does not open up walls anymore, building out the actual deck would be something he could do for us. Based on these interactions, I would highly recommend Tom for any work that we needed done and will not hesitate to give Tom a call once we are ready to move forward with our deck project.

Tom immediately contacted RB. RB sent Tom a pic of the door and Tom was hoping he could repair the door rather than replace it. Arrangements were made for Tom to meet RB at the house the very next day to make the necessary repairs or measure and assess needs to replace the door. Tom arrived on time and determined that too many parts of the wooden door were missing and the door would need replaced. The door is the original door of a very old home. RB rents the home and Tom was concerned that replacing the door could still cost RB his deposit being withheld since the door would not be the original door like the others even though Tom would match it as well as he could. Instead of replacing the door, sending me a bill and moving on, Tom advised RB to first check with his landlord to make sure a replacement door would be acceptable and RB would not be charged for the original door being gone. Due to the odd size, age of the home and type of door, replacement cost was going to be about $600 and Tom was honest and caring enough to be concerned RB would still be charged for the door by his landlord. RB's landlord decided to take care of the door himself so Tom's services were not used. However, when I called Tom I told him to do whatever necessary to replace the door and I would pay him knowing it could be costly. Tom's honesty and caring traits explain why he is rated so well in addition to the high marks he gets for the quality of his work.

Tom is a professional who takes pride in his work. He had to work between numerous rain delays but still took the time to complete the job right. I would hire him again should the need arise.

Many rain delays but Tom always kept in touch via text. He came the 1st day it looked as if it wouldn't rain and began the work. After on again off again rain we decided he'd come back the next day. He repaired the areas with pressure treated wood and and solid PVC vinyl where he could. all was caulked inside and out and repainted where necessary. This was a full days work. Cleaned up after his work very well and was easy to have around the house. I would hire him again and certainly recommend him to a friend

Tom was great to work with from start to finish. He promptly came to our home to listen to our ideas and soon had a written bid to us. He was able to begin the work a few weeks later - and quickly replied to any emails regarding when he'd be able to start. We are very satisfied with the finished product - it looks great and is just what we needed! Highly recommend.

All went great. He is very pleasant to work with and did a great job. His estimate was completed within a couple of days, when he had to push the job back a week he communicated to us timely. He showed up on time and finished in the time frame he said.

Thomas was very nice, punctual, and conscientious. He really listened to what I had to say and also gave timely recommendation to make the jobs simpler. He got right to work, cleaned up well, and completed great work overall. I also like that he is very organized and itemized everything on his work order.

Thomas was great to work with - very punctual, very attentive to detail. He did a fabulous job on the deck and was very reasonable in pricing.

We had several carpenters look at the job, however, its magnitude appeared to be too large for most. In particular, the corner of a projection, of the rear roof, had to be braced, shored and jacked up, before the original, vertical beam could be removed and replaced. The 4x12x25 horizontal beam was so large, that it had to be specially ordered. The prospect of removing and replacing this beam seemed to be daunting for several of the carpenters. Only two carpenters were comfortable in taking on this job. We chose Quality Carpentry because of Tom's confident and professional attitude, and his willingness to accommodate our time schedule. Both bids that we received were very similar. Tom kept us informed throughout the process. Once the work began, he, and his assistant, worked diligently, every day, until the job was completed. He went out of his way to explain each stage of the work to me. At the end of each day, he showed me what had been done and told me what he planned to do the following day. The work area was always left clean and tidy. Tom also supplied me with photographs of the work, as it progressed. The attached photos illustrate the work, and the completed project, which looks amazing! Tom is a skilled carpenter, who clearly takes great pride in the work that he does. We were extremely happy with the service he provided and the manner in which it was carried out. I would most certainly hire Quality Carpentry again and have no hesitation in recommending them, highly.

They did an excellent job. Some of the wood replacement was in a tricky location and Tom did a very professional job. After replacing the damage wood he caulked and painting so that everything looked like new. I recommend his company and would use them again.

Great! It took about a day and a half. Everything was very neat and well done. We have had no further issues with water entering.

Tom's work was outstanding. More importantly, he was highly professional and my wife and I were comfortable leaving him in our home alone or with only her there. Of the many contractors we interviewed, his prices were on par and he stood apart with his professionalism.
