Tom was great to work with. He redesigned our kitchen pantry and promptly submitted a bid. Tom did an excellent job on our project. Our old door going out to our deck was sticking which made it very difficult to open and close. We also wanted to add a storm door. Tom suggested a fiberglass door and an Andersen storm door with retractable screen. He emailed us a catalog from his supplier so we could confirm which fiberglass door we wanted. Tom took his time and made sure both doors fit perfectly. He is very meticulous in his work. He was careful to protect everything in our home while he was working. We love our new doors! His price included labor and materials. Tom is dependable. He returns phone calls and shows up on time. It was a pleasure having him in our home. The name of his business fits. When you call Tom, you get the quality you hope for. He really does treat your home like his own.

Some of the repairs which were required did not necessarily have one obvious procedure for accomplishing. Tom performed this work in what appeared to be an innovative, cost-effective and professional manner. I was quite pleased with the end result and would not hesitate to contract with him again in the future.

I was impressed that Tom proactively covered furniture with plastic and placed a tarp on the floor from the front door to where he was working. He was a good communicator and kept me informed of his progress. I work from home, and at one point when he wanted to ask me a question, he texted to me instead of potentially interrupting any phone call I may have been on.

Thomas Van de Riet was great. He coordinated with my tenants to scope out and execute the project. He was very professional, and made sure everything went smoothly. I do not live near that rental property, so my tenants act as onsite managers. Afterward, my tenants told me they were very impressed with his responsiveness and the quality of his work. If we have other carpentry projects in the future I will definitely hire him again.

A facility that has children running through it always needs something repaired or replaced. Quality Carpentry repairs and maintains specialized play equipment and play space; tracks and performs preventative maintenance on the building and it's operating systems; has built special play tables for children with special needs; performs any repairs, installations, etc., that an office full of women requests; advises administration on current facility needs and future facility updates and repairs. We rely on Tom's abilities and advice to maintain our facility. A trust and reliance that has never been misplaced.

Tom worked around my schedule to come out and plan out the project. He knew better than me just what had to be done to make it turn out well, and he made great suggestions about materials and techniques. He completed the whole project in a day and a half and addressed all the issues that we had talked about beforehand. When the project was completed, Tom left the place cleaner than he found it. It was a pleasure to work with someone who was such an experienced and professional carpenter, and I would definitely use him again for any other projects in the future.

I interviewed three carpentry vendors and examined reviews of each then narrowed my choice to two ultimately choosing Quality Carpentry and Remodeling. The owner, Tom Van De Riet was very responsive when starting the job which took two days. The finished was all that I had expected and looks great. I particularly liked Tom's integrity in that he did not require nor ask for any upfront money for purchase of the material. While I did not confirm with him or his insurer, I took Tom's word that his was fully insured. I found Tom to be very professional and will use Tom again.

I had a very short amount of time to gather bids and have the work completed prior to closing. Tom responded immediately to my initial call, asked a fair price, and was able to fit the job in quickly. As a bonus, he is friendly and pleasant to have around. Tom did a fantastic job transforming the old mantle, using a photo I provided, and using good quality lumber. He kept the basic footprint, thus saving the plaster wall. It was all done in one day, from dismantling, to building, painting and cleanup. I love it!
