All my questions were answered and the installation went smoothly. We did have an issue with the system leaking because of debris in the valves that was not initially solved, but was fixed by the second technician. The company stood behind its system, which is all that can be asked. I would recommend them again and definitely intend to use their services long term.

After contacting the company for an estimate a representative came out and gave me a competitive price and a good design for a sprinkler system for my yard. A few weeks later they came out and installed the system in one day. It was very professionally done and although I have only had the system for a couple of weeks I am very happy with it. I also got a rain detector (which they threw in) that I like. The company has called me to schedule my closing (free with installation, as is the start-up next Spring) and the date to go over the system (which I delayed until Spring upon the advice of my point of contact). Overall, I am very happy with the whole experience and would highly recommend this company.

There pricing is great, and everyone seems very nice....however, I have had them do my BackFlow Testing STL Co requirements for two years in a row, and both years they forgot to turn in my paperwork to the county. I had to track them down after being contacted by STL County to turn in my test results. In addition, I have attempted to contact them this fall to schedule a winterization of my lawn irrigation system, but have not heard back. Keep in mind however that my perferred method of contact is email and have NOT tried to call for an appt. (I feel that communication and scheduling of appointments via internet/email is much faster and easier for me -- I like records in writing to place directly in my calendar) So, if you are internet/email minded as I am ...you may not hear back from them.

They quoted me a new system in June, but I shopped around some and held off in committing until the Fall, and saved some money by doing so. I signed their contract in early September, and it took them 2 months before they installed the new system. (Probably somewhat due to my dickering them down in price, so I was not at the top of their priority list for installations.) If I was paying top dollar (market price), I would have wanted the installation done a lot quicker than 2 months after signing the contract. Especially since I would think they would be slowing down on new installations in the Fall, and given the current weak economy. I was a little upset when my installation got scheduled for a Friday, and they had to move it back to the following Tuesday due to rain. I totally understood the need to postpone things due to rain, but would have thought they would plan on the following Monday. However, they said they could not do Monday, and had to wait until Tuesday. Not because of the need to let things dry out longer or such, but rather because they said their scheduling of installations is done by salesman, and each salesman only gets certain days of the week for their installations to be scheduled (and my salesmen's next day was that Tuesday). Seems like a crazy way to run a business, but so be it. Other than that, I was happy with how it all went, and the new system. They got it all installed in one day. I was pleasantly surprised a few days after the installation, when I received a call from their office wanting to schedule a post-installation walk through & orientation. I was not expecting this, and was happy to get this additional no-charge service. An actual service technician came out to do it, and further explained the controller, as well as showing me how to adjust the sprinkler heads should I ever need to do so down the road. The system has only been installed about 3 weeks now, but so far I am very happy with it. They do offer your 1st year's winterization free, so I have that scheduled for next month.

Called three firms for estimates and Lawn Systems Inc. was in the competitive range. Came to home and assessed the yard and gave us a sketch of the system with a few options. Didn't try an "up-sale" us too badly, only added the option for a rain detection option that was actually pretty useful. We had them change the layout a little bit and they were amenable to making the changes and working with us. With the very hot and dry summer, they were backlogged with work, so it took a little while to set up a day for them to come out and install the system, but when they did, they were punctual and did a very professional job. Whole process took 1 day. Only 1 minor issue is that they left our cable TV wire above ground and when they came out in a few weeks to walk around and adjust the spreinkler heads, they took care of that then. The follow up technician was very imnformative and helpful - showed me all the things I needed andgave me instructions on how to care for the system and what needed to be done with backflow testing annually. Overall, it was a good experience and my yard really got back to greening up after the system was installed. Good experience.

The entire experience was great. They were professional, punctual, and always available for any questions I had. The crew was fast and efficient. Everyone was polite. I feel they are well equipped and know their business very well.

The technician came out and assessed what I needed and let me explain. He answered my questions well and gave me insight into the things I didn't know, including showing me just what a valve looked like and how it works and why they fail. He got the system working. He also asked for payment right away, saying "check or charge?" when he handed me the invoice. I was actually impressed with this, most service companies should do this and perhaps don't, adding time and expense to collections of services. I thought this was smart and appropriate. Everything still works fine. I need to have them back out to shut the system down for the winter, soon.

We received "proposals" from 5 companies in addition 2 additional companies contacted did not respond to our request to provide a proposal. All companies were from Angie's List and in the top rankings.We checked the BBB ratings on all companies.ALL proposals and estimates were for the same type system [RAINBIRD]. Estimates varied significantly between companies.EXCELLENT company to do business with!! They are superior in service to any other company we have used in a long time! We installed an irrigation system in our yard the end of May. We wanted a company that was "no hassle" from start to finish. From our initial phone call to Connie to our install and follow up with the techs this was the smoothest transaction that we have done.Kevin,one of the owners and our "sales" representative was very helpful and informative when he came over to discuss our needs and recommend the system that would be best for our property. He was open to our very specific,technical, & researched based questions and gave us answers based on his experience and expertise in the business. We discussed information that we were told by some of our previous companies and he remained professional and explained to us why something was right or wrong. Kevin was available for questions after our meeting and was with us through the install. His presentation which was sent to us within 24 hrs. was professional and exceptional. It contained detailed information about the equipment to be used, a well executed drawing of our property w positioning of all components, references and insurance information. He even provided us with a LIEN WAIVER ! The installation team lead by Bob were very professional,worked together well, available for questions,listened to concerns[ie Sprinklers hitting the house etc] and made sure all was installed properly. The install went very smoothly and was completed in one day !! Jon, our Walk Thru Technician came over a couple days later and helped us with the system and answered any questions we had. He adjusted any sprinkler heads that needed to be. He was a great guy again very knowledgable,professional & friendly. We have made an excellent investment in our sprinkler system and with the temperatures being over 90 degrees for 23 days strainght this summer our lawn looks fantastic!!We needed to minor adjustments about 6 weeks later and the TECH's[SAM & PATRICK] that came over were just as fantastic 1LAWN SYSTEMS INC is the BEST ! We will recommend them to everyone we know for new systems,repair, renovating older systems etc. From start to finish EVERYONE we have dealt with has been very helpful,knowledgeable,professional ! The process went very smoothly. The owner met with me initially to discuss our needs and specific placement of sprinkler heads. A professional contract was presented and included a detailed information packet that described the equipment that would be utilized. The system was designed to fit our needs and was installed within a couple of days. To date, the company has been very responsive to address any concerns that we have had regarding the system. I would definitely recommend Lawn Systems, Inc.

Everything went well from the 1st phone call, the estimate, the installation and the follow up. Working with this company is a dream. They have installed lighting and are now taking care of my lawn. Everyone I have met is pleasant, easy to work with and responsible. One of the most amazing things in the process was at the end of installation day, you could not tell that anything had been done to my lawn. If only every business out there was run by these people, life would be so much easier.

I contacted Lawn Systems after having such great experiences with outdoor lighting and a sprinkler system. I spoke with Mac, the lawn expert and told him my issues. He came out to look at the lawn within a day or two, called and gave me recommendations. I felt very comfortable that my lawn was in good hands, so I signed up for the total package. I have been so impressed with the way Mac has taken ownership of my lawn care. He really knows his stuff, is so easy to work with, and has shown me great results. I still have some problems, but there is no doubt that Mac is going to help me get my lawn in beautiful shape. I would recommend Mac and Lawn Systems to anyone!

They are very nice, and it went well. Everything is working correctly. They work hard and do a really good job.

By far the cheapest estimate we received and everything still works great almost 2 years later.

They did a great job with my irrigation system installation last fall. So, I had them plant 5 large evergreen firs in the back yard. They did another great job. They were very large ones, and they used a bobcat in getting them down a hill. So they would not ruin my yard, they used the lot next door that a house was being built that did have a lawn yet. They figured out how to do it without any input from us. Again they did a great job!

Everything went great. ! The bid was competitive and the system works great! I would easily recommend them to anyone needing lawn irrigation work.

had Lawn Systems install an irrigation system for my lawn and plant beds. Spent $3200. They did an outstanding job. Originally they wanted to also take total care of my lawn, i.e., fertilize, insect control, aerate and dethatch, seeding. I did not want this at first but later decided to get an estimate. I sent an email to Lizzie and asked she forward on to Mac for an estimate. After not hearing a response for a week I called Kyle Earthman who had sold me the irrigation system, and left a voice message for him that I had not heard anything and asked him to check on it. I heard nothing again for more than a week or longer. I then called the owner because I thought he would be interested in this breakdown. He was not available but I did advise the lady who answered what the issue was asking the owner to call me. A day or two later I got a voice message from Mac (not the owner) giving me a quote for part of what I asked for but not all. I returned his call the next day and left a message that he did not give me a complete quote. That is the last I heard and that was about a week ago.While I found them good and professional on the irrigation system (see report I filed) I found them to be just awful on the lawn care side.

On 5/26 I called to request an estimate. On 5/27 Kyle Earthman came and provided estimate on the spot after reviewing my wants and providing his own professional input. I had selected Lawn Systems from Angie's List prior to asking for an estimate along with one other provider. Lawn Systems came in with a better price and I was more impressed with their professionalism. Kyle provided me a list of references one of which was a neighbor who I checked with and he had good things to say about Lawn Systems. They installed the system in one day on July 15 with very minimal damage to the lawn. Crew was professional and really appeared to know what they were doing. They came out after a week and fully explained and trained me on how to operate the system. They have been out promptly a couple times since to replace a couple heads that provided better coverage and make some minor adjustments to insure proper coverage. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. With the dry summer I have one of the few good looking lawns in the neighborhood. My lawn and plants have never looked better.

They were referred to me by my neighbor. Everything about them was excellent. They do landscaping and I referred them to friends.

Left a message for Lawn Systems (LS) on Saturday. They called back Monday and set an appointment for a few days later. LS inspected the job sight and sent an estimate the same day. Within a week they installed four new zones and a head replacement on the existing system. The addition included boring under our driveway in two places. LS came back two days later to address a minor problem with a new head that would not go down and a pressure issue with an old zone. They called ahead and told us the time of arrival and the crews were VERY punctual and VERY professional. They did everything we asked, including notifying Dig Rite and adressing some minor issues promptly, at a VERY reasonable price. Would definitely have them back. Top Notch!

This complaint is primarily for the sloppiest yard work I have ever seen. Our irrigation system was installed properly and professionally, but the rest of the services and sales contacts were tardy and unprofessional. We attempted to have landscaping done, but the salesman sent us a contract and estimate after 3 weeks and he kept delaying the job. Our biggest problem was with their lawn service. They would cut the grass unevenly. They would cut into our neighbor's lawn. They would cut in bizarre wavy lines rather than straight. Their edging looked like a 5 year old did it. They also failed to clean up after themselves. I canceled the rest of my jobs with their company if their yard work was representative of the company's professionalism.

I called to check the price, which turned out to be lower than the other quote that I received. I was able to schedule an appointment for the following week. They showed up as scheduled and performed the work.

We have been happy with them so far.

Overall, it was an excellent experience. We have been using them since we moved here. They are extremely punctual and friendly. We have never had a problem with them.

The service has been just fine. They have been professional, prompt, and courteous.

Kyle Earthman came out and provided a free estimate the day after I called. He was very professional and within a week had an estimate to me in the mail. Because they were the lowest bid (by more than $1000!) I decided that we would give them a try. They initially said that there was back log of over a month to get the system installed due to the area receiving excessive rain. Instead the weather cleared up and the irrigation system was installed a week later. The following week I scheduled to have a tech come out and explain the system to me and winterize the system (all included with the installation). During winterization the tech (Patrick) noticed that one of the zones was not receiving adequate water pressure. At the time he was unable to find a reason. Because the system comes with a 2 year warranty I will have them look at the problem zone in the spring when I have the system turned on.
