Kyle was there early before the crew staking out where all the heads went as well as the controller. He also checked the area in the basemen where the backflow connector would need to go. He offered to help me move the washer and dryer, When the 4 man crew arrived on site shortly after everything was laid out, Kyle introduced me to the foreman, Luis(?). Luis was very polite, knowledgeable, and hard working, the same can be said for the rest of the crew. The plumber showed up a couple minutes after the crew. I've never seen anyone solder pipes as quickly as he did! He was also very pleasant and friendly. In conversation with him, he said Lawnsystems was the best of all them he worked for. The crew all seemed to know their roles and what to do next. worked like a well oiled machine they finished the job in 6-7 hours. Since the weather is still a bit cool, both Kyle and Luis explained that someone from the office would be in touch over the next few days to schedule a technician to come out in about a month. At that time, the technician will recharge the system, check everything out, and go over how it works until I'm comfortable with it. Price may be a bit higher than others, but they use better materials and have great service. I had 2 separate friends that recommended them. I also checked them out here on Angies List as well as at the BBB. All good!

I chose Lawn Systems. He looked at the lawn earlier this week and I got the estimate in the mail today. The quote was $4860. That sounds reasonable. Well I reviewed a number with Angie's List and he is closer to Fenton and I am not far from that. He is the first one I called. They were nice and the reviews I think are very helpful so I didn’t need to go. I take hand and get more, more reviews and I had a hunch of what would have cost and is within range. The gentleman on the phone was helpful and he said he will come out and look at it which he did. I would probably talk with him before I send the contract about it. I don’t know any particular reason I just thought they look good in Angie's List and other than this I've really not been disappointed yet. I never met him. I was at my office and he said he will come out and look at it. He sounded professional on the phone. I got the first estimate and I’m sure I going to talk with them and for more details. The quote came at the end of this week. I think he went out Monday. I think it’s on time. I think is very well prepared. But right now I am just getting into it. I think he came out and look and then got the estimate out here I think in that regard is punctual. The reason I met the gentleman on the phone and there is a response I think is quite professional. More likely yeah when I talk to him and I will go this gentleman/company. I am satisfied so far and I have to give them a call. I will be calling them and see what comes about.

I got them from Angie's List. I used them several times. They are professional, they show up on time, and the work is good.

It looks great! I am very happy with the work they did. 3 guys did it in less than 2 days. Everything is perfectly level and straight as they shot it with a laser level. Cleaned and dressed it up very well. I'm also planning to have them install a sprinkler system this spring. When they did the wall, they put the a line for the beds underneath the wall. The guy who laid the wall also suggested an pop up drain for where my down spouts come out of the wall. Glad he did as that looks great! Price was a little more than I expected, but I didn't compare with others for the landscaping. I used to work in the landscaping business 30 years ago. I did check the price for the blocks, but it was not spelled out as a separate item on the quote. I'm thrilled about how it looks. Now I'm anxious to get the sprinkler system in and do some clean up on the beds.

To my knowledge it went okay. I wasn't home at the time, but so far they have installed the system and serviced it appropriately. We have had no problems to speak of. We are happy with the results of our residential lawn system.

We have used Lawn Systems for irrigation for several years and have always trusted them to do a great job. Never a complaint. Recently, we also utilized their landscaping service to build a flagstone patio extension. They were very quick to evaluate our needs and provide a written proposal, which they brought to us in person to present and discuss. Their price was good and their work was excellent. The sales person visited the site each of the three days to ensure everything was going well. This was a very messy job with rock, flagstone, compost, mulch, and other supplies and their cleanup each day was remarkable. We highly recommend them for landscape construction. Excellent experience.

Kevin took such good care of our project . Every step of the process of our dealings with Lawn System was Top notch..I wish everyone ran their business this way. I got 5 bids for our irrigation system and we are so happy to have made the right choice. No need to look any further call Lawn System for your irrigation and outdoor lighting needs you will not be disappointed.

Tech showed up on time and was very knowledgeable. Very impressed with them so I used them again to open the system in the Spring on 6-7-2013. Second visit went just as well. Highly recommended.

Like the earlier review in May of this year, everything went like clockwork. I have the highest regard for this company and would recommend them to anybody.

Lawn Systems does excellent work. Professional crew was able to complete the entire project in one day. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating. There were a few glitches. Cut my dog fence wire and an outdoor light. Both were fixed quickly and everything works perfectly. They sent a technician around a week after the job to check all the sprinkler heads and show some little tricks with the controller to same me time during the season. I would recommend them to anyone needing an irrigation system. They are not the cheapest but they are the best of all companies I asked to bid.

Most recently, a large portion of our system stopped operating and we noticed our grass beginning to die off quickly as a result. I called Lawn Systems and scheduled for them to come to our house to repair our system for us. My appointment was scheduled for 2pm today. I made arrangements to be home to meet them. By 2:30pm, I had neither seen a technician nor had I received a telephone call. I placed a call to Lawn Systems and explained to the lady with whom I spoke that the technician had not yet shown nor contacted us and that, due to my schedule, I would not be able to wait at home any longer. The lady with whom I spoke did not offer any apologies and then proceeded to tell me that my appointment wasn't scheduled to take place until 3:15pm. I told her that the appointment was scheduled for 2pm and that I would never have made a 3:15pm appointment since that time would never fit my schedule. The lady then told me she wouldn't be able to get someone to our home until late Friday afternoon at the earliest. Because of her "lack of caring" attitude and complete absence of any apology, I told her I would no longer require the company's service. She simply repied "OK". Very disappointed in the company's poor level of customer service and respect for its customer's time. It's unfortunate since our very first experience with one of their technicians when we first moved to our home was so positive. Perhaps the company has had a change in management and employees since then.

They were very professional. A couple of things happened and they fixed everything and it was done very well. They followed up, came back and seeded my lawn in the places that they had dug up. They sent someone out to double check things a week or so after they had done it. It was a good follow up.

Lawn systems was one of four installers that I called to install an irrigation system for the entire 0.2 acre lot in both the front and backyards. In addition, they installed a separate drip zone on our deck for potted plants. Since we moved here from Texas, we know home irrigation systems pretty well. Lawn systems did a fantastic job! The salesman on the job was Jason Floming. Unlike large irrigation installers, Lawn Systems has their sales staff responsible for overseeing the installation, checking back after the install and in our case, the sales person actually did some of the minor follow-up work. A number of times, I was asked if this is what I wanted or given choices. They ended up installing the project at the price agreed upon in spite of hitting some rock and making minor changes to the system. For example, splitting a zone when it was questionable if one larger zone would work. They came back twice within a day or two to makesome last minute corrections - one of which was AFTER they were paid! From the start, they were professional, courteous, worked hard, and completed the job as they said that they would. Even the front office was on board and in support of their crews. (Congrats to the Ladies in the office.) I will likely add a few features to the system in the future and will have Lawn Systems do the work - no questions asked!!!!

Lawn Systems Inc were very professional, very high quality, they were very responsive, and I was very pleased with them.

Alex and his crew were punctual and professional. We had a couple of small glitches which they handled quickly. The utility locator service mis-marked our cable line by three feet. The cable line was cut but they were able to fix it in a timely manor and we were without service for just a short while. Brandon came out this morning and went over the system programming with us. He was very patient and really explained everything well. We had 13 different zones with all of our landscape beds and vegetable garden. They put soaker hoses in the veggie garden and we put that on a separate program. We would highly recommend Lawn Systems.

They were always prompt. The people they sent out were very knowledgeable about the product. The yard was not torn up in any way. We have had no problem with the system.

This company blew us away with every conceivable measurement!!!! From the first contact with Keith, the sales rep, down to the installation crew headed by Bob, and finally the walk through with Brandon, we were completely satisfied. Each person involved in the process, even the crew, was respectful, courteous and knowledgeable. There was practically no damage to the lawn--even though it had rained hard 2 days before installation. Brandon even installed an additional sprinkler head during the walk through because he didn't think the coverage in one of our flower boxes was adequate. The only, and this is a nit-picky item, complaint was there was about a cup of water on the carpeted floor from where the plumber had tied into the water main. As I said, this is a MINOR item and one I didn't downgrade the company for. Overall, like I said earlier, this is an extremely fine company to work with--from the bidding process right through the final walk through. I would heartily recommend this company!

They maintain our sprinkler system.

I called to schedule an appointment to shut down my irrigation system last year, they were busy so I had to wait a few weeks to have someone come out, completly understandable due to the time of year. The gentleman arrived on time and as scheduled. He was professional the entire time he was at my home and verified each sprinkler head was drained properly and even ran a few of the zones a few times to make sure because he felt they did not completly drain. The entire process took about 30 minutes and he went over what he did and thanked me for calling, when I asked him what I owed he said nothing, the first shut down was free, I was completly suprised, I couldn't remember being told that when the system was installed but to get a great service for free.....what a deal!!! I would deffinatetly have them come out every year to close my system, they have all the right tools and the know how to do the job right!!

They suggest repairs that we may be able to do ourselves to help save save money. They are very prompt and professional.

They apply all the proper chemicals and you get a 10% discount if you pay upfront. They got my lawn back in shape. If there is something wrong they will tell you or if something needs special attention they will tell you. They are very professional in what they do.

When we bought the house in May we already had irrigation in the front yard. We had no idea the condition it was in so we called a company that was close to us to get the system in the front up and running. The first person we dealt with was great, seemed to know what he was talking about, but the system needed some repairs. The next three times that company came over they never had the parts they needed, and it took over a month to finally get the system up and running and even then the house would still vibrate when one of the zones would shut off. We decided that when we were going to add the sprinklers in the back yard we would not call this company. We called Lawn Systems and set up an estimate. Jason Floming came out and was outstanding in explaining what they would plan to do. Our backyard was a mess because the previous owners never took care of it, so he also set me up with an estimate from their landscaping group to get sod laid in the back yard and clear out the debris. We did not end up going with their landscaping, but the best part about this company was after the landscaper we did use came in a prepped the yard for sod, Jason was able to get a team out and get the sprinklers set up before the sod was laid and cleaned up and raked all the dirt back so not to disturb the landscape prep. Jason did not come out when the actual team came out to do the install, but another guy, whose name I can't remember came instead and was absolutely great. He introduced me to the foreman and his team of just 3 guys and I can't remember the foreman's name either, but he was very professional. The whole job did take most of the day, but the part that came after the install is the reason I will continue to use this company. After showing me how to use the new timer, we kinda walked around the front yard and I wanted to show him the problems I had with the other company. Without charging me and after working all day at the house on a Friday, they took probably an extra 35-45 minutes and changed a sprinkler spray where water was hitting the house and I had a head that was above the ground where they dug up and lowered to where the head would be below the ground. I was very impressed with the whole team and after putting half the money down for a deposit, this company allows you to make payments on the remaining balance with no interest and is just a "gentleman's agreement" on getting it paid off in a reasonable amount of time.

Very professional will use them again.

They showed up right on time (8:00 am). The head guy walked me around the yard and explained to me what they were going to do. He also explained that the plumber would arrive at 10:00am. The crew got right to work digging trenches. The plumber arrived on time and was done with his part of the job in about 30 minutes. He, like everyone else, was nice, polite, and professional. The crew took a break for lunch at 11:30 and were back and working at 12:30. They wrapped up around 3:30. Then the foreman took me quickly through how the system works and I got to see all of the sprinklers work once. He explained to me that someone will be back in the spring to do the system start up and the will walk me through how the system works again then. I have had a great experience with Lawn Systems. They have been very professional every step on the way.

These are excerpts from letters written to Lawn Systems on September 28: Lawn Systems left left behind from the installation of the irrigation system (which tore up the lawn) combined with the fact that one of the installed valves was bad and water ran for several days before being replaced. This broken valve resulted in a large hole near the valve box and has never been attended to by anyone in your company. I have been told that today?s crew will fill in this hole, level out the other low and high spots created when the lawn was dug up, fill in the low areas with top soil, and replant grass seed in these spots. After Lawn Systems left, holes still remained. On three separate occasions, a technician from Lawn Systems came out to repair our lamppost, which has not worked since the irrigation system was first installed two weeks ago because the underground line was cut during installation. After these attempts, the company that installed the lamp initially came out and fixed it. Lawn Systems covered the cost of the repair, but the entire episode took nearly a month. When Lawn Systems came out to aerate and seed the lawn, they aerated and seeded both the front and back yards; they were only supposed to seed the front yard. This is another sign of the lack of communication that apparently exists between the groups within Lawn Systems. These are excerpts from a letter I wrote on November 16: Once again, I must write to you about the shortcomings of your company. Yesterday, one of your technicians came out to winterize our system. It was bad enough that when he left, he left a trail of mud in several rooms in our basement (boiler room and laundry room). This was nothing new, since when the system was first installed, we had to clean up the mud (which was never reported to you) left behind by the plumber who installed the backflow system. However, this inconvenience was minor relative to what happened today. Our control box is in the laundry room. To get to it, the technician must reach behind the wash machine. The drain hose comes out of the back of the washer and discharges into a sink. When the technician reached behind the washer to service the control box, he (inadvertently) pulled the hose out of the sink. So, when we did a load of wash today, all the wash and rinse water discharged onto the floor, creating quite a mess and soaking the rugs and laundry on the floor. Also, despite my informing your company several times that the northeast corner of the yard is always wet, a solution was never found. When a technician came out on 26 October to check for a leaky sprinkler head, he didn?t find one and concluded that the area needed to be filled in; on his service ticket, he states that Lawn Systems will continue to ?work with the customer to accommodate for the wet area.? No follow-up has ever been done. I think all that was needed is putting down some soil to fill in the area after the irrigation system was installed. No attempt was made to level out the lawn after the system was installed. I was told, ?in a few weeks, everything will level out.?
