Great windows, but very expensive. The original bid before discounts was $17,751. These are supposed to be some of the best windows on the market, but they are not in my price range.

The crew arrived on time and completed the majority of the work on the first day. They made a huge mess that I was sure I'd be cleaning up for weeks but after they were gone there was little evidence they had been there at all. During the installation two screens were damaged and one of the window frames was damaged. The installation manager inspected and then sent someone to repair those items and I have no outstanding issues with the windows.

The doors were installed the same day as windows I had installed (separate report). I overheard the crew discussing wanting to complete the whole job in one day so they could take another day off. I wasn't too happy with that but they reassured me they could complete both in a single day. I feel that the old door frames were removed too quickly and there was excessive damage to the brick and plaster (plaster damage has since been repaired by the company). There was a lot of dust generated, not just in the immediate area but spread through the whole house. In the end, the doors were installed and they feel very solid. I worry about the long term effects of the loosened brick behind the frame but I have no evidence that this is or will be a problem. The only outstanding issue is the transom about the back door. It was scheduled to be painted (or replaced if painting doesn't match) but the company has not completed this work yet.

They didn't install one window right and had to come back to do it. The supervisor that came out was a very nice and intelligent man.

The experience was mixed at best. The work commenced 6 weeks after the date promised after a series of excuses which amounted to Champion's inability to schedule the work and manage competing priorities. Almost immediately there was a change order because the builders could not build to the specifications stated in the contract. Then, the ran in to a problem related to the sewage pipes which had to be altered to pass inspection. We agreed to split the cost which added $768 to the cost, although such a contingency was never stated in the contract. There were other incidents such as minor damage to a downspout when a work truck ran into it. (We didn't claim this). The final product showed good workmanship but there were a few minor issues. In general I would not recommend going with Champion. For the premium prices they charge, there should be a more professional approach to the work.

Our experience with the company was wonderful. The entire job was done in one day. The workers were courteous and did a very professional job. The salesman came to our house when the project was near completion to make sure we were happy with the work. Champion delivered a great product and wonderful customer service.

The installer did a terrific job. He didn't stop working from the moment he arrived until everything was installed. The quality of his work was excellent. We are very happy with the quality, features, & warranty of the windows & door. The cost was more than most & the "40% off" coupon was a joke. Otherwise, this was a pleasant experience.

This company was slightly higher in price than the other window companies, but we felt the money was well worth it. The quality and service from everyone was EXCELLENT. Our salesman gave a very informative presentation, that was used to compare other companies, that was correct and not just a "sales pitch".

ALTHOUGH THE CHAMPION WINDOWS APPEARED TO BE A QUALITY PRODUCT, THEIR ESTIMATE CAME IN AS THE HIGHEST OF FOUR THAT I RECEIVED. I WAS A LITTLE PUT OFF BY ALL THE "DISCOUNTS" THAT WERE OFFERED, AND YET THE PRICE WAS MUCH HIGHER THAN ANY OTHER ESTIMATE I RECEIVED. I DEFINITELY GOT THE FEELING THAT I COULD HAVE NEGOTIATED MORE ON THE PRICE, BUT I NEVER REALLY COULD TELL IF I WAS GETTING A GOOD DEAL BECAUSE OF THE CONSTANT BARGAINING.

THE SALESMAN FROM CHAMPION GAVE A POLISHED AND CONVINCING PRESENTATION, BUT THE FACT IS THAT CHAMPION'S WINDOWS ARE NOT CHEAP! ALTHOUGH I'M SURE CHAMPION MAKES A WONDERFUL PRODUCT, THEIR ESTIMATE WAS MORE THAN DOUBLE ANOTHER ESTIMATE I RECEIVED. THEIR WINDOW MAY INDEED BE THE BETTER PRODUCT, BUT THEIR PRODUCTS ARE SIMPLY OUT OF MY PRICE RANGE.

THE SALESMAN WAS THOROUGH AND PROFESSIONAL. OUR VISIT TO THEIR SHOWROOM ON DORSETT RD. PROVED VERY INFORMATIVE. TWO, PROFESSIONAL INSTALLERS COMPLETED THE WORK IN ONE DAY. ALL DEBRIS WAS TAKEN AWAY. THE WORK AREAS THOROUGHLY CLEANED. WE EXPECTED THE QUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM BUT WERE SURPRISED BY HOW QUIET THE EXTRA INSULATION IN THE WINDOW CHANNELS HAS MADE OUR HOUSE.

THEY WERE GREAT. THEY ARE VERY RESPONSIVE AND ALWAYS GOT VERY GOOD DEALS. THE QUALITY OF WORK IS GREAT.

THE GENTLEMAN WAS ON TIME, POLITE, AND VERY THOROUGH IN EDUCATING ME ABOUT WINDOWS AND THE QUALITY OF HIS PRODUCT. VERY GOOD PRESENTATION. WE HAVE NOT MADE A DECISION ABOUT WHOM TO DO BUSINESS WITH, AS YET, BUT HE IS IN THE TOP TWO.

THERE WERE A NUMBER OF COMMUNICATIONS ''GLITCHES'' WHICH PROLONGED THE TIME IT TOOK FOR THE CONSTRUCTION. HOWEVER, EACH PROBLEM WAS CORRECTED TO OUR SATISFACTION AND THE END RESULT IS SPECTACULAR!

THEY DIDN'T BASH OTHER COMPANIES WHEN THEY GAVE THEIR ESTIMATE. THEY GOT RIGHT INTO MY JOB AND EXPLAINING EVERYTHING. WHEN THEY CAME TO DO THE WORK, IT WAS VERY COLD, AND THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, CLEANED UP, AND GOT THE JOB DONE. THEY ALSO DID A FOLLOW UP CALL TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING WAS OK. IT WAS A VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE.

CHAMPION WINDOWS WAS PRETTY GOOD TO WORK WITH, BUT THEY SUBCONTRACT THE LABOR AND THE CREW ON MY JOB WAS ONLY OK. I HAVE HAD WINDOWS PUT IN IN THE PAST AND IT WENT WELL.

WE ATTENDED AN OPEN-HOUSE AND SIGNED A CONTRACT TO HAVE A WINDOW INSTALLED. BECAUSE WE NEEDED TO HAVE SOME PRE-WORK DONE IN PREPARATION AND WE WERE HAVING DIFFICULTY IN GETTING IT DONE IN A TIMELY FASHION, I CALLED TO ASK IF WE COULD CANCEL THE CONTRACT AT THIS TIME. THEY WERE EXTREMELY GRACIOUS AND COURTEOUS, AND CANCELLED THE CONTRACT.

THEY GAVE US A MORE REALISTIC BID THAN THE OTHER COMPANIES, AND THEY DID A FABULOUS JOB.

THERE WERE A LOT OF MIX UPS ON PERMITS.
