The bidding process was great. The work was eight windows and a patio door. It was a complete, huge project, and they did it in only two days. There were only two people and they cleaned everything up. They are remarkable because the house is sort of sound proof. They made all of the windows work.

They did a great job. They did all the work perfectly. There was only one slight problem with the color of the glass in one window but they took care of the problem very quickly.

They gave me a good deal and as far as the job they gave me more than the original agreement without the extra cost. I was very pleased with their workmanship and would definitely recommend them.

The concrete work was scheduled and just before that time a couple of Champion people came out to my home to do some site work. One of those people, we later found out, was the sunroom manager who told us all our "stuff" was in the warehouse. The concrete work was done one schedule and in a professional way (by a subcontractor). After ten days of nothing else happening (and after the concrete work was done but half of my stairs were removed) we called to find out when they would start construction. We were told that our materials were not even in, yet. This was 10 weeks after signing a contract where it state we should be starting 8-10 weeks and would be done 21 days from the start of construction. Twelve weeks later, they started work. The work took over 30 days to complete, and during that time there were days where nothing happened. Weather was not a major factor, here... nice, sunny days with no one around and our stairs still not safe to walk on. Near the end of the project we were told that they never ordered the window blinds we asked for on the original contract. They screwed up getting us the right samples so my wife could, for the second time, pick what she wanted (she did all of this a day or two after the contract was signed, but they had no record of it for some reason and never looked at the contract until we asked about it when they thought they were done). After being told the blinds would show up on a particular date, we were then told that they "missed the truck" and it would be another two weeks for them to show up. Well, at least that time they were right. We had them installed approximately seven weeks after the construction (and ten weeks after the concrete work) began. So much for being in our room my June 1 like our sales representative mentioned on March 1 when we signed the contract! The construction people were very nice, but there was a lot of foul language at times when a large group was around for some reason. Not terribly professional, but the work was very good and the product is very nice. We love our room, but it was not a smooth process like it should have been. Oh, yes, we live walking distance from the showroom! I was expecting that to help make this go well, but it didn't seem to matter. I said I'd use them again, but only because of the product. I would be very careful to keep on them every step of the way to ensure things don't get missed like they did on this project.

I liked the quality and efficiency of the windows that they offer. I like the reputation that Champion has and the transferable warranty that I received. The sales presentation was informative. The installation took only four hours.

They didn't return phone calls and they didn't do that great of a job, I still have problems with the new windows.

We were under a time constraint because of violations with our siding. They came out in the winter, which was really nice. Because they knew we were under the time constraint they came out in the dead of winter. The workers were very friendly and professional. When we did have some problems they came out and were good about getting them fixed. The approximate cost listed was for the siding work that they did.

They had reasonable prices on a good window. I was very happy with their service. They were clean and efficient. They only sent one installer, and probably could have used two. But he did a good job and the windows seem to be excellent.

Sales rep arrived on schedule, took his measurements, and worked up an estimate at that time based on door designs selected. Decided no to use this one.

Installation was great; the windows work great, clean easily and look terrific!

Customer service was very professional and easy to work with. However, the price was outrageous for the worked performed. So I chose not to hire them.

This company is extremely high and the salesman tried to tell me that their windows are better than others on the market. In reality, they are the same window. Looking through Angie's List I see people received similar quotes. I hired another company and paid $2300. Could not be happier with their work.

The sales person was very condescending to my husband and I. The visit lasted two hours during which we had to endure a company history lesson, a company bragging session, a window lesson, and a horrible quote. We told him that the quote was too high and thanked him for his time. He thought we were haggling (we weren't) so he slowly started to bring the price down. After almost an hour, we got a quote of approximately $9,000, but only if we signed the contract immediately and went to their showroom on the next Saturday (in two days) to get the "Sale" price. I was uncomfortable during the entire process and would not recommend the company based on how we were talked down to and treated like children. Also, it's been four months since we received their quote and we told the sales person we were not interested and we are still getting phone calls from Jack Krause's recorded voice as a "courtesy follow-up" to see if we want to purchase windows. It's been very frustrating.

We were able to easily obtain an appointment. They wrote up a competitive estimate during the appointment. Told us they would match any comparable door. The warranty on the installation and door were better than others. This door itself is of high quality, low maintenance & energy efficient.

I think that they could've been a little cheaper. If I were to investigate companies a little more I probably could've found a better deal. The work however was great. They had no problem with the installation and the workers were very friendly to me.

We asked if we could get to the estimate and he took out a piece of paper and started writing something on it. He came up with some figures from who knows where and decided it would be $7,000 but if we got it done by Saturday he would decrease it this much and if we let them put out a sign they would take off that much until he had the price down to about $5,200. Now my husband and I are dumbfounded at where he is coming up with this and ask for a written estimate. He takes out a paper, puts the numbers on it, and hands it to us. We were amazed to say the least! He kept pressuring us to make a decision and have them do it by Saturday. We asked what would happen if we didn't do it this Saturday since we need some time to think and he said we would have to start over and we would have to come down to the office to speak to him. Needless to say, we did not hire him. He was extremely unprofessional.

We thought there was nothing to do about it until they came back to replace an upstairs small window they installed when they removed the window completely and were able to shave off some of their spray-in insulation around that window to make it fit better.? I wish I had known that could be done before I sacrificed my inside window shutters.? The window upstairs fit better after that, but they had to return at least three more times to try to get actual window like it should be (grids were not level which was a factory problem), and we finally just accepted it on their fifth visit (total) as we realized they would never get it right.? We were completely satisfied with them the first time they installed nine new windows for us several years before, but after the experience this time, I would not buy from them again.

They did a great job. They were in and out of the house in a flash and were very professional about the work that they did. I liked that all the guys here were very nice to us and didn't get in our way when they were working.

They were fantastic. They showed up on time to do the work and were very professional. Their price was good. They were not the lowest or the highest in price but I don t mind paying a little more to get a quality job done.

DID NOT "GO" AT ALL. NO RESPONSE TO MY EMAIL.

Champion made it very easy. We had every window in the house replaced (total of 15 windows) and everything from the initial sales call, the follow-up measurement appointment and the final installation went off w/o a hitch. All 15 windows were installed in a single day and they look great! My only complaint is that I (still) need to do a bit of plaster repair around several of the windows. Removing the old windows caused some minor plaster damage, and while all of the cracks and voids were filled, a few spots were fairly deep and need another application or two to be good as new. However I believe my wife told them that I would take care of it, so I can't really fault the window installers; however they should have taken the initiative to send someone out later in the week to repair the plaster themselves. (For nine grand I don't think I should have to lift a finger.) One more thing: They give discounts (5%) to Angie's List members!

Clean, conscientious and punctual. We have a warranty for as long as we own the house.

I am looking at having siding, gutters, etc., done and would call them for a bid, for sure. I know they stand by their guarantees, as my parents also worked with them and had a picture window and sliding glass doors installed. One of the locks was being stubborn, and they came out and replaced it without any quarrel, and the doors were about a year old. I would say in the world of subcontracting, home remodeling, etc., they have to be one of the better ones I've dealt with, or heard of others dealing with.
