I've been with Blue Chip for many years. In the last year I've used the Mosquito spray service, mole service and termite service. They are always punctual, professional and a joy to work with. I listed a B on price just because nobody is perfect. You pay for what you get. I felt like the mole service was a little high and would like to see more bundled services. So there was a somewhat negative thought but I am still using them, still very happy, and would highly recommend them to my friends and family. I would not leave for a cheaper price at this point. The guy that came was great, but the woman in the office was snippy. They keep the traps there for 10 days and then they come and pick them up. I was out of town when it was time for them to pick them up. They wanted to come and pick them up and she acted like I was trying to steal her traps.

Inspection showed termite tunnels in garage area & floor joists at garage walls infected. Bid was given & explained treatment. The Bid accepted and service was scheduled for one week later. Prompt and punctual service was performed. Tech was at home for 2 plus hours. Job well done. Neat and clean.

I was in complete panic...termites were swarming my house...i found this company on Angies List, provided then with a txt pic of what i saw; at which time Chris confirmed it was termites and within 1-1/2 hrs they were here to verify...could not be more impressed with this company!!! Set up an ongoing plan for termites/pest control at a VERY reasonable rate and am considering utilizing this company for misquito/mole issues in future...A++ for customer service and just genuinely nice workers in office/sales.

I discovered termites while I was installing new hardwood floors when I encountered termite issues. They came out quickly to inspect and give an estimate for removal and prevention. They sprayed to kill existing termites and installed traps with bait to kill any new infestations. The use of bait to kill new termie is what sold me. They were fast, professional and did exactly what they said they would do.

Overall, I would call them again.

They come here every six months. The quality of their work meets my expectations. They come here immediately when I call them.

Blue Chip is wonderful! We're set up for every other month preventive maintenance. I get an email a couple of days before they will come out and I can reschedule if needed. Most times we just have the outside done, but a couple of times a year I arrange to be home so the inside can be done. We don't have any pest problems at all and never have - this is just something I am paranoid about and arranged for practically right after we bought our home. I want to be sure we don't ever get a pest problem! Blue Chip is very reasonable, always flexible for those times when I ask for the inside to be done as well, always polite, and they take the time to answer any questions we have. I appreciate their patience and great customer service. They're a pleasant, professional company to work with. I feel like I don't have to worry about bugs in my home, and if I did see something I could call and they would take care of it quickly and efficiently... which would be good since I might be freaking out :-)

We had wild animals in our attic which was creepy. Blue Chip did an outstanding job: They placed traps and baited them. They identified the points of entry and utlimately sealed them off. They were very responsive every time we had something in a trap, coming late at night and on weekends. They worked around our schedule and came when they said they would. They charged us exactly what they said they would. They called daily when we didn't call them to check on status of the traps. They were always professional and friendly.

Very quick response to my call. Worked within my time schedule. Knowledgeable technicians who educated me on what to look for/other possible explanations for noises I was hearing. No pressure to use their service.

As far as I can see, the work turned out well. I was happy with their response.

Blue Chip was excellent! They arrived on time and treated our home for potential pests, including setting up rodent traps outdoors at no extra cost. We had them back in October 2012 for regular maintenance and both times, we have been pleased. The exterminators that come to the house are friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend this company!

Technician was on time, and did an OK job, but was not as thorough as some past exterminators on the interior of the house (mainly on the main level, where I actually saw where all he did and did not spray.) Granted, we did not complain of bugs on this level, but if they are spraying the whole house, I thought they would have been more thorough. I guess as long as we don't see any bugs in the future it doesn't matter, so time will tell. The technician was nice and knowledgable, but quite a talker! He "soft sold" me on their semiannual maintenance contract, by starting to fill out the paperwork for it without even asking me if I wanted to commit to it going forward. However, since I was not totally opposed to it and willing to give it a try for the next year, I just went along with it.

i found this company through my Angieslist search. My first contact with the company was through a conversation with Nikki. She was very thorough and seemed very knowledgeable about the process and the insecticide that was going to be put down. She also had a very good handle on their termite inspection product. She seemed to be very client focused and it appeared that her management gives her the freedom to spend whatever time it takes to service the prospective client. Because of my experience in speaking with Nikki, even though I had called several other solid firms, I decided to go with Blue Chip. Stephen was the individual who arrived at our house on time to apply the spray. I work in the financial service industry and we have been taught to provide "Wow!" moments to impress our clients and turn them into long-term, loyal clients. Stephen did just that during the visit to our house. First, he was very thorough. I never got the impression that he was wanting to hurry through our job so that he could go home or could go on to the next job. Whenever I asked a question, he would take the time and provide a very comprehensive answer. He ended up staying at our house for 1 and 1/2 to 2 hours. The thing that impressed me the most was what he did after I asked him about their termite prevention services. He, like Nikki, were very careful to explain that it's going to cost me a significant upfront amount to receive that service from them because they would need to install new termite stations. He saw that stations still remained from the contract of the previous owner of the house and asked which company had maintained those. I found the name of the company and it turns out that he knew the name of the manager of that company. (I believe Stephen mentioned that he had been in the business for 20+ years.) He asked me to dial that company and after I called the company he took the phone and left a message for the manager explaining the situation and asking him to work with me to simply switch over the previous contract into our name. This call that he made for me could be worth up to $300, the cost of the station installation that I might avoid. Here's Stephen, not only being honest and telling me that it might be in my best financial interest to continue working with the other firm, but he actively helped me make that happen. This move locked in my business for years to come. Also, when answering one of my questions, Stephen relayed a story that involved another pest control company and instead of bad mouthing this other company he spoke very professionally about them. This is very out of the ordinary and shows that he is a professional and has integrity. I also appreciated that Stephen didn't give me a high-pressured sales approach to try to get me to sign up for a costly ongoing service program. He did clearly articulate the reasons why a quarterly program might be advantageous but ultimately gave me the impression that he would do whatever I wanted to do. I went with the quarterly program that he recommended even though before he arrived I was only going to have them come out in the spring and the fall. It was very refreshing to work with Stephen and his company. It seems like management has done a good job of stressing to their employees to focus on building a book of long-term, loyal clients rather than thinking about the short run and trying to twist customers' arms to generate a short-term profit.

We hired Blue Chip for this same procedure when we first moved into our home, roughly 4 years ago. We were pleased with their work then, and they were our first choice when the eight-legged critters returned to our basement. We were surprised by how quickly they were able to respond, and very glad that they were willing to schedule an appointment on a Saturday. Both technicians (for the primary appointment, and follow-up appointment two weeks later) were punctual and professional. Ultimately, though, the proof is in the spider-free environment we now enjoy.
