Just wanted to share my experience w/ Blue Chip Pest Control. My 6 month old puppy got into their rat poison box in my back yard which they assured me would never happen. They said he could never get into it and that the poison would never hurt him because of his size. (About 50lbs. at the time). He couldn’t stop vomiting and was pooping blood. My girlfriend took him straight to the Vet where they treated him with vitamin K and some nausea stuff for his stomach. I have been a customer for over 10 yrs. and when I called to notify them they told me that wasn’t possible like I made it up. All I asked from them was to please pay the approx. $400 Vet bill. We went back and forth for several months finding it very difficult to get ahold of them most times. Finally they asked me to get something in writing from my Vet which I did and they still would not respond for over a month. I then threatened to leave a bad review and within an hr. they responded offering to credit my account for the Vet bill. That would have been great if they’d have did that in the beginning, but after all the grief all I really wanted was to get reimbursed so I could take my business elsewhere. I know the ownership changed recently but that is no way to treat a long term customer. I will never use them again and if asked, will def. urge others to use someone else!

They were honest, reliable, on time and provides high service.

Nate called an hour before he arrived at my rental property. Once we met, he took charge of the situation and handled it just as I had hoped. I had one tenant who is sensitive to chemicals and he went out of his way to work with her. He found the ant colony almost immediately.

Called Blue Chip and they were very informative. Scheduled the extermination the same day. Chris Tooley arrived on time, looked at the nests and said no problem. He also sprayed the perimeter of house while he was at our home. Yes - I will hire again.

Great! They came out the same day, problem is taken care of - so great we signed up for the service every 3 months - only $96!

They’re good. They were okay. This is the first time I’ve used them and they were okay.

We have an annual service plan with Blue Chip and have had for over 5 yrs. Over the last year to two years I have become more and more disappointed with the service. When we first contracted with Blue Chip we were happy with the service, but the last 18 months plus we have had more and more bug issues and there was never a break in service. At first it was just ants in the kitchen and this warm season not only were they in the kitchen they were in the bedrooms and bathroom! We are serviced every 2 months and did call occasionally for additional treatments, but the problem continues (only the cold weather is helping now). In addition, one of the times my home was being serviced I heard my outside water running, I looked to see what was going on and found the Blue Chip technician filling their ranks with my water. I called about this and was told that they do use customer water and that if I didn't want them to, they would make note of it in our account. Lastly, I recently called to pay my bill and was told that our next service would be in about a week at a time I would not be available. I explained I needed my indoor rodent traps replenished because we are still having that on-going issue too, I asked about other times and was only offered that day and really no other times because they had commercial clients that needed service first thing in the morning. I would have recommended this company at one time, but not any more.

Technician Tony W. was AWESOME. Super punctual, professional, always had a smile on his face. I asked if I could " tag along " and he welcomed me on board. With the cooling temperatures, we had spotted several wolf/ garden/ and even a brown recluse over the past few weeks. Blue chip initially scheduled me for a treatment, and then a 2 week follow up. After Tony's thorough inspection and treatment he cancelled the follow and said everything looks good. Saved me 50 bucks! He answered every question thoroughly with a smile and welcomed everything I had to ask. A true professional! Thanks so much, Tony! You are our hero!

I really like these guys. I've used them for about a year and a half. I've found them responsive, punctual, and professional. Jason came yesterday and he was really nice and helpful. They do a good job of letting you know what you need and what you don't need. I'll keep using them and recommending them.

The gentleman that showed up, Stephen Mills, was polite, interested in our problem, and discussed it with us. He explained what he was going to do and even explained a little about the clover mites we were seeing. He then proceeded to take his time and do a great deal of spraying in our house, our basement, and around the entire house outside. He didn't do just a small dribble along the foundation and inside walls like some services did; he did a lot of spraying, especially outside where he thought they were nesting. We actually saw good results beginning a few weeks after he was here.

Very nice, professional, left us updates and the best part...no new mole runs! YAY! I found the price very fair as I have tried everything to get rid of them. I wish I'd called them first!

They were professional and prompt. Very knowledgeable.

We are very happy with them. They have taken care of our problems. If ever we do have a problem, we just call them and they will come out extra. I think their price is very comparable.

They have been wonderful. We used them on a rental property that we have and they are really good at working with our tenants. They are always on time and they do a good job. They take care of whatever pests we have at that time.

They were very nice and prompt, their cost was so reasonable! I would definitely use them again! They offered to come back in ten days to re-bate the traps for $75.

We've been very happy with them. They get the job done, no problems. They come out, they take care of the pests in the house and the ones that are trying to get into the house and it works out very nicely. They're great. The people are very professional and courteous. They make an appointment, they're on time, get the job done within a reasonable time frame.

I have been using the company on and off for 3-4 years. The moles go away and come back from time to time. The staff is punctual and do a good job. They can always get rid of the moles when they come out. I have not had to use them for a few years. I have never had a problem scheduling them out for a schedule. I like that I do not have to be home while they do the job.

The flea treatment of the house and backyard required two visits. The first one was around $200, but I used the online coupon for $30.00 off. The 2nd treatment was $65.00. We just had our 2nd treatment today. I'd say for the follow up treatment where the 2nd person came seemed to be more thorough. (Both men were very nice and locked up the house for me while I went to work). The only negative I'd say is that when I called Blue Chip they took down my address incorrectly so the first person called to tell me he was on his way and I was able to tell him the correct address,and he arrived 10 minutes early. The follow up person was 30 minutes late because the address was never changed in their system, so not his fault. I am thankful and my animals are thankful too to be rid of the fleas. They have been on frontline--but had some exposure to fleas and it was brought in the home. We are now vacuuming and sweeping everyday to guarantee they won't return. We had to have the animals taken out of the house to our vet both times for 4-6 hours while the house was being sprayed. But it worked out because both times we had the vet give the animals CAPSTAR, which is a pill that kills fleas within an hour., and then when we brought them home we gave them flea baths to get rid of any eggs or dead fleas on them. Thanks Blue Chip!

Everything went great! I would definitely recommend them for anybody! I even signed up for their service program.

They were professional. They were careful with their proposal. We decided to ask for a bid because they were nearby. The quality of the presentation was presentable.

Everyone in blue-chip pest control was very helpful. They responded quickly and came to spray my house the next day. When Steve arrived he was very friendly and informative. He was very conscious and aware of the fact that I have two small children in the house. I've signed a contract for them to come out quarterly and spray the exterior of my house, keeping the chemicals outside rather than inside. Initially they thought that I would be more than one treatment, but after closer inspection said that I should only need the first treatment to solve my initial problem. I appreciated the honesty!

We thought that with one of the raccoons out, the other two might go somewhere else (which appears to be the case). They were fine. I would probably use them again for similar problems. There was a discount on Angie's List on the first visit. They set up three traps for a standard fee and there was one return visit. They were able to come out quickly and they seemed to be doing a pretty thorough job. They did a thorough inspection in and around the house to see if the raccoons had gotten inside. I think their pricing was competitive.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I am a returning customer with this company. Last month I noticed a small collection of ants forming on my lower outside deck. I called Blue Chip because I utilized this company two years ago. The technician came out to my home and I explained to him that I never saw ants anywhere else inside my home. The tech began to spray along the baseboards within the rooms. I noticed that the spray was not thorough. He proceeded to treat the outside perimeter and concentrated on the area where the ants were forming along the lower deck. Once he left, I thought that everything was taken care of. A week and a few days later, I noticed ants crawling along my walls within my breakfast nook and kitchen floor. I immediately called the company and explained the problem. A different technician arrived a day later. He placed powder along my kitchen baseboards. The technician told me that the purpose of the powder is for the ants will take it back and kill the colony along with the queen. Once again, I am assumed that this issue has been taken care of and I should not run into any additional insects. Yesterday I noticed a small bug crawling on my kitchen wall. I could not identify it at all. Later that evening, I noticed an ant crawling on my kitchen countertop. I had planned to contact the company manager first thing the morning to vent my concerns. When I entered my kitchen the next morning I was met with a cluster of ants all over one section of my kitchen countertop. I had no choice but to destroy them. I look over to the other areas of the countertop and I saw other ants. The insects were crawling on my kitchen floor, sink, cooktop and cabinets!!!! I contacted the Fenton office to file a complaint. The customer service I received was absolutely horrible. I did not receive a sincere apology for this incident. Instead, the rep tried to teach me about the inner works of insects. When speaking with the manager named Chris I detected that he was not sympathic to my needs at all. I could tell by the tone of his voice that I was disturbing their work schedules by requesting service IMMEDIATELY. I was repeatly told that someone would come to my home to address this issue during the late afternoon on the next day. As a result of my constantly argument with the manager and rep to come and treat the problem now, the manager found a supervisor by the name of Gary willing to come to my home within the next few hours. As stated previously, I have used this company about two years ago and have never encountered any issues or problems. Before this incident started, I seriously considered going on contract with this company. I do not know what has changed since my first encounter, but I AM DONE WITH BLUE CHIP FOR GOOD!!!
