Blue Chip Pest Services

It went very well. We have used Blue Chip for a while now. They are very accommodating. A while back we had seen a couple of brown recluse spiders in our house (yes, I was freaking out)! Anyway, we called Blue Chip, and they were very prompt to respond. They did a dusting in our attic, as well as in the rafters of our basement. They pretty much eliminated the problem. We will still occasionally see one, and when we do, they will always take care of it. They guarantee their work. It is a little more expensive, but worth the money!!

They were kind and courteous after I freaked out. They did not want to put poison down when there are pets and children around. I told them I did not want mice in the home. So know what you want and ask for it.

The first fellow who visited was very zealous in searching out ant nests as far as 15 feet from the house but missed one in the wall of the house. He also didn't answer all of our questions completely. We later found out that he was new. He and the second fellow who visited trampled several plantings (that could easily have been avoided). The fellow who came to install the Centricon system seemed very knowledgeable and took a lot of time to answer all of our questions. After talking with him, we feel comfortable that we made a good decision regarding our course of action.

Horrible. I would expect a company that offers a "contact us" section of their website to respond to a request. Have since gone with another company and they were very responsive and helpful. I am very disappointed after all the wonderful feedback I read on Blue Chip.

They are always very professional and come out when they are suppose to. They are very quick to respond if I have any issues. They are very knowledgeable. They never over sell.

It had been 2 years since our last inspection. We had found a flyer for Blue Chip on our door and checked previous reports on Angie's List. They came out and completed the inspection. No hassles. Professional.

The initial visit was great. Stephen sprayed and injected at least 3 different pesticides to target the ant area and even brought back a sample of a 'gnat' bug to have it properly identified and called back to let us know that it would be taken care of with the whole house spraying. Information was left regarding spiders and ants etc. He recommended the annual plan but wasn't pushy about it. Our follow up visit was fine, but the technician fair. He was surprised that we hadn't seen ants since the spraying (I'm guessing the problem wasn't that bad initially) but let us know of some spiders in the basement. He told me the were dead brown recluses and left some spider traps in the basement corners. Having an infant crying, I wasn't able to go downstairs and see them for myself. I was kind of surprised that for discovering dead brown recluses that they didn't recommend any follow up. To his credit, he did spray outside the house during a monsoon cloud burst of pouring rain. The first visit left me very impressed with the extent to which he treated the ants and helped identify another bug, but the follow up visit was just ok.

Extremely well. Technician was thorough, courteous, prompt. Highly recommend this company. Office personnel were extremely helpful and pleasant.

We were very happy with their services. They were prompt, polite and ultimately saved us money by showing us how to refill the bait stations ourselves.

The technicians who were here were polite, clean and conscience. They wore little booties to keep from tracking up our house.

Blue Chip Exterminating blows any competitor away in any and every category. Their technician was on time, was very personable and professional, and, took the time to educate us on what exactly he was treating and it all made good sense. We signed up for a regular maintenance plan with Blue Chip, at their recommendation. Blue Chip utilizes cutting edge technology, they are punctual, they gave us specific instructions on how to prepare our home before they came to spray, and, they are very easy to work with.

They were on time and were very knowledgeable.

Blue Chip came quickly, came back when they said, & their price was highly competitive. Best of all, they sent the man who now lives in our memories as "Mark, the Mole Man." Mark walked my yard with me, back & front, taught me about moles & answered all my questions including why the trap we had set didn't work ("Why, Ma'am" - Mark was very polite - "that trap is just too deep. Not gonna' catch nothin'". I may have fallen in love at that moment. Don't tell my husband.) Mark set four traps and told me why he set them where he set them. Next morning we had the biggest, fattest, deadest mole on the block! My son came for dinner that night &, seeing how Mark the Mole Man had set the traps, went home & reset his own trap (he had also foolishly followed directions and set it too deep.) Within a day also had himself a dead mole. It was glorious! They came back twice more but that was our only mole and that critter was dead, dead, dead. Very, very nice job and we are quite happy!

I think they were very thorough. They were professional and arrived to our home on time. I haven't since found any spiders and am happy with their quality of work. We have since signed up for a monthly maintenance treatment. I think their prices are quite reasonable.

I thought that they were fine. They did a good job. The man that came out seemed really thorough and knowledgeable, more so than some of the others we have used in the past. They also gave a discount because I am an Angie's List member.

I have used their services for six years. I found them as they are located in my neighborhood. I am very pleased with their services as they do as stated. I will definitely continue to use their services for the years to come.

Blue Chip is everything we expect. They are dependable and reasonable. They get the job done and do what we need of them. They are good and we have not had any pest problems while using their service.

We were having an insect problem and when we called they came out two days later and sprayed everywhere. They did a very good job because we haven't had to call again so that really says something.

They have addressed several issues and are always prompt and courteous. They are very professional and do a great job. Their prices are very reasonable and they are always very thorough and competent.

I have used them for years for different problems I've had. Whenever they come they leave a card under the door explaining what they did and they also leave some educational information about insects and pests in the area. They have been quite satisfactory for us.

The termite system cost $600 which could be paid over 3 years. For the treatment of pests, I received a $25 discount because of my Angie's List membership. The technician was very good about giving explanation about the treatments. I can even go on-line to check my termite activity. The cost reflects the termite system and one treatment for pests.

We do not have a contract with them, so this was a one time service. The guy showed up on time a and did a good job. We do not have any bugs in the basement and the hornets are gone. He gave good advice and did not try to sell additional services.

I was very pleased with the ridding of the fleas! I actually had a $20 coupon for Angie's List that I was able to use, which was very helpful. Normally, the initial treatment would have been $95 and they will charge me $55 every other month, from now on. I feel they charge a very reasonable rate and do a nice job.

I called and was able to reach the owner right away. They were out within 24 hours.

I found some small ants inside my bedroom around the built-in cedar chest by our bay windows. I called Blue Chip in the morning, and someone was there that afternoon to look at the problem and take care of it. Their technicians always seemed very well-trained and knowledgeable, but if they don't know something for sure, they'll tell you, which I appreciate.
