Description of Work: 1. They were on time. 2. They had to order a part and notified me when the part was in which was the day after they first came to look at the refrigerator. 3. They scheduled the part to be installed the following day and my refrigerator is fixed. It works great.

Description of Work: Our Samsung dryer was not working. I called Samsung for service, but their process is slow and inefficient. When I called John at Appliance Repair Masters, he worked me in the next morning. He knew immediately that we needed a new dryer element. He had the Samsung element on his truck, and fixed it within 45 minutes. The thing that was "over the top" was that John noted the venting was done poorly and wanted to fix it. So, he returned the next morning with the proper venting, reconfigured the dryer, installed the vent so it will never fall off. And, he doesn't spend a lot of wasted time talking. In and out. Very knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. If he's not on Angie's List, he should be!

Description of Work: Washing Machine: Provider charged $68 just for coming out whether it was fixed or not. I was stuck cleaning up dirty water... thought he would do that. He checked several things and couldn't find the problem, and was ready to walk out the door with my check in hand without machine being fixed or even any suggestions. Finally, I told him something had to be wrong, and please find it. Finally, he looked at the machine further and did find the problem. He was unsure of what it would cost to repair it, although he thought it would be several hundred dollars. I was very uncomfortable with him. He did not appear to care about the job. He seemed to just want my money, and leave without doing anything. I wouldn't want him representing my business. In addition, my subscription to Angie's list had expired and in order to even get this far, I had to sign up again. All told, this visit aggravated me and did not get anything fixed. If you can refund my money, that would be great!

Description of Work: Called with a problem with my washer. He recommended replacement instead of repair

Description of Work: Looked at the ice maker on my fridge. Project ended up being much more than initially anticipated. They didn't do a full check initially. It took a long time for the project to finally get completed as well.

Description of Work: I placed a call with my home appliance warranty company, to have a service company come out and repair our washing machine. They washer is a front-loading Kenmore, approximately 6 years old, which was thumping and "walking" and had a minor leak. John, the technician, arrived, assessed the problem and informed us that they would need to order a part, a counterweight. That was on June 2nd, 2007. It is now July 6th, 2007, and repeated calls to the Appliance Repair Masters have resulted only in "We are still waiting for the part."
