Called this company to come to the house to give me an estimate to haul junk out of my basement. During the call the background noise was so loud the guy taking the information could hardly hear me. We arranged a date and time for them to come and give me an estimate. They showed up 1-1/2 hours past the appointment time (they did call about 45 minutes after the scheduled time and left a message) and the guy that showed up had a real "attitude", like this was a waste of his time. Would never use or recommend this company.

It went fairly well overall. They came on time and worked hard. They didn't clean up afterward but there wasn't that much to clean up when they were through. They gave me their quote after they saw the amount of trash I had. The charged $350 for everything except the piano which seemed reasonable compared to other costs for them on Angie's List. They charged $140 for the piano which seemed excessive. It may have been reasonable but I have now way of comparing their price.

They showed up at the appointed day/time and did the job just fine. They did not have a wheelbarrow with them, so they borrowed two of our trash cans and cleaned them up when they were done. I would use them again.

They were definitely prompt. I called and they were able to do the job same day.

Of the many contractors I have dealt with, Skip was by far the most obnoxious and arrogant. I contacted Skip and left a voice mail. He called back on the same day. I initially asked him for a rough estimate on removing the concrete sidewalk and he said it would be about $375. We agreed that he would come the next day to see the area and give an exact estimate. The next day a whole crew showed up ready to remove the sidewalk. I asked for an estimate and after calling Skip they said it would be $475. I offered $300 and also asked for an estimate on excavating about 500 sq ft of the backyard to a depth of 7 inches. He thought I was offering $300 for both jobs and abruptly said he was pulling out. After I clarified to him what I meant, he insisted on $475 for the concrete removal and quoted $600 for the excavation, which was to be done the next day. I said OK, and left a check with my sister to give them after they were done. When I came back I noticed that they had left almost half of the concrete untouched. I called Skip the next day and he said he would look at the site and do what is necessary. Throughout our interactions, he made me feel like i was wasting his precious time with every word that I said. He did remove the rest of the concrete - no apology for collecting his check while leaving the job half done the day before. He then started the excavation and told me he was not responsible for damaging any buried wiring or plumbing. Period. He did indeed cut one of my satellite cables although I had pointed out where it was buried. Again, no apology. He ran over my strawberry patch with his Bobcat - again not even the courtesy of saying sorry. When he was done, I was trying to measure the slope and level of the excavated area to make sure it was OK. He became impatient and started telling me that he is done and that I am wasting his time. When I pointed out a slab of concrete he had left behind, he practically started shouting at me and telling me that this was not part of the agreement. When I asked him to calm down he became even more agitated and said that he would remove just this one piece and that he wants his money and asked whether he was making himself clear in a very hostile manner. Overall, he did an OK job but left the excavated area uneven. He took his second check and left without thanking me or saying goodbye. His crew on the other hand were very nice people, and I feel bad for them having to work for such a person.

I called Skip a couple days ahead, and he was able to come on the date, at the time I requested. He removed everything that I requested, and charged within the range that he had estimated over the phone. I would definitely call him again if I needed more hauling.

The work turned out well and they did a good job. They took away old lumber of the deck that I had rebuilt. They also took some stuff from my basement. They took about 3 to 4 hours to get the work done and they were fast. Everything that they did was fine and I don?t have any complains about them. The price charged by them was reasonable for what they did. I would use their services in the future as well.

Our experience of working with Skip?s Hauling went well. We called him and he bought the truck, the very next day. It lasted there for a week, while we dumped the roofing material in it. Later, he came and took it away. He was a sweet guy. He was not very responsive, but he was punctual.

It went very well. We underestimated the amount of material to be removed from the home. Skip picked up the dumpster, offloaded it, and returned with very quick turnaround.

They were prompt, and they took all the junk away. They cleaned up after themselves. Their price was okay. I would use their services again.

Three men and a truck showed up on time and removed the fence. They were not well equipped for removing the posts. Four of the posts came up easily but the fifth one was in concrete and had to be cut off.

Just fine--they did what I asked quickly and professionally.

I couldn't find a company to leave a dumpster inside an old two-car garage of mine that I was going to tear down with a bunch of hired hands. Skip said he could maneuver a dumpster inside the garage, but then suggested another option, that he and his crew tear it down. The price was right. He and his guys completely removed the garage and a ton of old, discarded stuff the previous owner had left. They did it in about 4 hours. I was expecting it would take 2 days for me and 6 guys working on the garage. Skip and his boys cranked it out, and cleaned it up in only 4 hours, then left me a new dumpster, for my ongoing rehab work in the house.

It went well. Initially they gave us a quote on the phone but then they wanted more. I pushed to have them charge me for only the quoted amount which they eventually did after they tried to tell me they couldn't. They arrived promptly and finished on time. They were pretty friendly besides when they tried to tell me they couldn't give me the quoted price.

They were a little late, but it was pouring rain and they called first. Did a nice job, but had to borrow my wheelbarrow. Would use them again.

They were polite and the price was reasonable. They arrived 15 minutes later than their 2 hour window. Some type of pink substance was dripping from their truck onto our driveway. They tried to remove it but couldn't get it all. They also broke a fluorescent bulb and again got most but not all of it off the drive way. They forgot to take a few small items in the basement. We would try another company before hiring them again, but maybe they were just having a bad day.

They were prompt, they came in lower than the estimate, and I was very pleased. They were very polite and professional. I would use them again in an instant and I highly recommend them.

Skip's underestimated the amount of material I had accumulated in a bathroom demolition and only sent 1 worker to haul it away. Needless to say, he was at the house for most of the afternoon. The price did not increase, and the worker did a great job cleaning up after the debris was put on the truck.

Very well. They return calls quickly and gave me an estimate over the phone subject to actually seeing the site. The estimate only rose about $10 from the phone call. I was very pleased about that. Skip called that morning to let me know they were on their way. His crew arrived (2 men) and he followed shortly thereafter. The crew had already started. They had the pool down and the tree removed in a little over two hours. He had a bob-cat like tractor and trucks. They were quick and polite and did an overall great job. I am very pleased with the work.

Two men arrived on time and took great care to take things upstairs and put on the truck without damaging anything in the house. They were also careful to clean up the mess in the driveway before they left.

It went very well. I called one afternoon to get an estimate of the cost of removing the items I had accumulated. I was given a two-hour window for the following morning. They arrived half an hour into the timeframe, and the actual cost was at the low end of the estimate I was given over the phone, the day before. The two workers were courteous, considerate and hard-working.

Skips hauled off a 16ft and 2 12ft trucks of junk and trash. They hustled and were very reasonably-priced. I was expecting to pay over $1000.

THE CREW (3) WORKED HARD AND CLEANED UP REASONABLY. DID NOT HAVE THEIR OWN ''CONTAINERS'' OR WHEELBARROW.. HAD TO USE MY TRASH CANS. DID DECENT JOB.
