SKIP'S HAULING

Skip called to tell me he was on his way, arrived on time and gave me a quote quickly. I asked when he could complete the job and he said "today". Hows that for survice. He and his staff removed everything I asked and cleaned up after themslves. I will use Skip again in a minute.

Skip showed up on time and was communicative via email prior. He bid the job and then provided a discount. There were approximately 20 yards of trash and 20 yards of yard waste. Skip and his crew were professional, very efficient, and the entire job was completed in about 2 hours. Overall, a great experience!

Everthing went very well. We received a call asking if they could come a little earlier than originally scheduled, which was fine. After looking at the stuff to be removed, they called the office to get a price, which seemed reasonable, and proceeded to remove everything quickly. The two men in the crew were friendly, professional and efficient. We would recomment Skip's Hauling and will be using them in the future.

I called to get an estimate and date of pick up. They were able to come the next day and gave me an estimate of $125 based on my description of the items to remove. I received a phone call beforehand telling me they were on the way. Two men arrived shortly after and immediately gave me the final price of the job and started removing the furniture. They were very careful not to hit the light fixture in the room while moving the hutch, which is a monster to move. They left some dirt trails on my floors, but other than that I had no complaints with the work done. I would definitely use them again to haul items away.

The crew came out about three weeks ago. They loaded the items that I no longer wanted and took them away.

it wen very well from start to finish. They arrived on time,, got right to work and finished in less than an hour.

I called Skip's Towing about noon and they were able to come out by 2:00 PM! We had a refrigerator in the basement (no walk out) that had to remain sealed but needed to be hauled away. That made the refrigerator a lot heavier and increased the cost. But that was fine with me. Three men took it up the steps very carefully. When it got outside I emptied it out and anticipated getting rid of the bottles myself. But the men cleaned up a broken bottle from the driveway and took all the bags with them! The gentlemen were polite, professional, and did a great job. I will be certain to keep their number handy for other hauling jobs.

In some ways, I was very pleased and in other ways, I was not real happy. The guys who came out were really young guys; they looked like eighteen or nineteen years old. They were kids; so they were not real professional but they were nice and quite caring. I don’t know but I didn’t feel that was right. They came out when they said they would. They got here on time. They were able to do the job that day and they were really nice. In terms of quality of work, they were so young that they were clumsy with things; they were not really polished, but they got the job done. In terms of responsiveness, the owner I spoke to got the work done. He was out here quickly and he was here when he said he would be here. In terms of professionalism, they lacked maturity. I would use their services again in the future.

The 2-man crew arrived as scheduled and completed the work quickly and carefully.

Called Skip's based on previous reports to see if they could not only haul away items left in our new home by the previous owner but also provide demo of the kitchen cabinets and appliances as well as an old "beat" entertainment center. They said sure and had someone out that afternoon to look at the work and gave me a price on the spot. I wanted the work done quickly and they accomodated by scheduling the work for 2 days later. When they arrived (a little late) I had disconnected all the utilities and they got right to removing the cabinets and appliances. Since we were going to refinish the hardwoods anyway I didn't put anything down on the floors but simply asked that they be careful. In the end the floors had no damage and they swept up and removed everything as discussed. I will admit that this was not a delicate operation. The unscrewed what they could cut, pryed and yanked things out as quickly as possible. That was fine with me and pretty much what I expected for the price, which was very reasonable, because it was all going in the trash. I would not necessarily use them if I was overly concerned about the walls or floors or if I was keeping what was being demo'd, but if you have a straigtht, dirty demo job, they can probably do it and haul away the mess. The guys on the team were nice and worked their butts off. It was dirty, hot work and they knocked it out. Exactly what we needed.

It turned out great. They came out, gave me a bid, and stuck to the bid. They were in and out within a day. They were gone in no time and cleaned up everything great. Everything was great. I sat on the porch and watched them. They did what they had to do, and they were gone.

Skip's price was a lot less than I expected. He sent a team within 24 hours. They moved everything out in less than 30 mins from the three locations on the property. Very polite, professional and helpful. I highly recommend them and will use them soon at my own house!

Great experience. Called Skip this morning and left a message. Skip called back within 20 minutes, I explained what I needed removed and he gave me a rough estimate bid of 120.00, but said that could change depending upon the amount and types of items. Skip said he would be out between 11:00 - 1:00 today. Skip called around 12:30 stating he was running late and would arrive around 1:20. Excellent communication skills on Skip's part, I appreciated his advising his new ETA. Skip arrived a little after 1:00, looked at the volume and type of items to be hauled off, his rough estimate on the phone was within $ 5.00 of the actual cost. Skip loaded up the items, we paid him and he hauled our junk away, thank goodness. Wouldn't hesitate to use Skip again.

I thought that they were little pricy but I was desperate to get that out of my garage because there was no parking in it. I was impressed that they responded very fast when I called them and they said that they would be able to come a couple of days later. They didn’t show up and two or three hours later then I called them as I had to go somewhere. The lady whom I spoke to was very apologetic and said that they had some trouble with their truck and they would be there the next day. Then they were sitting in front of my house when I got home from work. So they made sure they were here. They were very polite. I appreciate their willingness to work for not calling me.

I called Skip's Hauling in the morning to pick up materials from a demo we'd originally put in a DumpsterBag that we purchased at Home Depot but when we called the company to haul it away they had extra rules not included in the bag (we had a wire low enough that they couldn't move around it). Skip's gave me an estimate over the phone upon description and set up an appointment for that day to come by and look at it and take it away. They were supposed to arrive during a window of time, didn't arrive and called after to say they would be another 45 minutes. About an hour later they came and then said it would be a higher price. I went ahead and agreed because they were there and I wanted the stuff gone. They then got the job done quickly. I am giving them a lower rating because of the timeliness (the amount of time I spent waiting for them) and the difference in price from the phone quote and actual cost.

I called Skip to find out about removing an old basketball goal that was set in a large ball of concrete. He gave me an estimate from $95 to $135 depending on the size of the concrete and said they could come that same morning. I met Skip at the house and he was finished on his way in about 20 minutes. He brought the right equipment and simply lifted the probably 500 pound goal and concrete into his truck.

They came in and they seemed to work hard. They seemed to know what they were doing and the best way to get it done. I would use them again in the future.

Called this company in the morning and requested same day service whiich was provided. They removed unwanted items from the yard and basement and hauled them away.

Excellent responsiveness. Called that morning and they had it picked up by 5pm that day.

I needed to clean out my basement for a move and they came in and removed about two and half pickup truck's worth of junk, including tables. Took about an hour and a half.

He was very nice and pleasant to work with.

They came when they were supposed to. They moved things around to get to it. Their price was reasonable. They were efficient, quick and friendly.

The gentlemen from Skip's Hauling were here on time, very polite and professional and were finished in an hour. Even cleaned up the driveway area where material was loaded! Very impressed AND WOULD DEFINITELY USE AGAIN!!

The hauling went very well. They arrived when scheduled for an estimate, I agreed to their service and they hauled all the stuff that I requested in a timely manner. The yard looked great after they left and I would recommend this company to anyone who has a variety of junk to get rid of.

I was very well pleased. I had checked other places and they wanted a lot more money.
