We got three bids for waterproofing of 9 stress cracks in our basement. We chose Eric because he clearly explained the entire process, answered our questions regarding polyurethane versus epoxy, and his references were very complimentary. Eric and Todd showed up as scheduled and began by prepping the cracks - grinding paint and old hydraulic cement patches off those that had been previously repaired and cleaning the concrete around those that had not. At one point it was a bit dusty but a new vacuum filter fixed the problem. They then set the epoxy injection ports (varying the spacing depending on the crack width and if there were bends in the crack). They let the ports set up for some time. Then they placed an epoxy coat over the entire crack making sure to cover the edges of each port and smooth the epoxy for a nicer looking finish. The cracks were then injected, the ports removed, and the port area smoothed over with more epoxy for a paintable finish. They finished up by sweeping the floor and removing all debris. We've had several good rains since and only one crack leaked. Eric promptly responded when contacted regarding the leaking crack and excavated and sealed the outside of the crack. I'm happy to say all cracks were dry during subsequent rains.

We chose Eric for this work because he took the time to discuss the installation and answer our questions so we could choose between a straight drainage pipe installation and a pipe with a 90 degree bend, pop up cover, and 2' dry well. We chose the pop up because it would prevent animals building nests and blocking the pipe and reduce erosion at the end of the pipe. Eric and Todd showed up as scheduled and began by removing the mulch and placing down a tarp to catch dirt. They then hand dug an approximately 40' long 4" wide by 8" deep trench including digging under the flower bed edging and sidewalk (being careful to avoid the seam). They placed the sod off to the side, installed the pipe, backfilled and replaced the sod. Then watered the entire excavation area with our hose. Once they were done there was no dirt in the yard and the mulch was replaced. The whole processes took about 4 hours.

The work was well done and we have had no issues. We are very happy with the work and the results.

Excellent from beginning to end. Eric explained everything very well as to what we could expect, provided a reasonable quote within a quick timeframe, and then when the guys arrived on time (with Eric to brief the workers on site as well), they were all very friendly and professional, completed the work early, had tarped everything extremely well to protect from jackhammering dust, and cleaned up well after their work. Everything appeared to be done as expected, and we have every reason to believe that it will improve our flooding problems with heavy rainfall, but we can't actually attest to its performance in those conditions just yet. I would definitely use and recommend their services in the future.

Couldn't give more praise for the professionalism of this contracting company provided. When Eric the first time to give his opinion of what would solve our dampnish in the basement, he was easy to understanding and treated us with total respect. In other words he didn't try to "BS" us. He followed up but did not hound us until we contacted him when we were ready. He then proceeded to make contact a couple of days prior to when the work was going to take place assuring us of the procedure and what to expect. He and his coworkers were pleasant , hard workers. When the job was completed they left their work area cleaner than when they came. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were quick and performed quality work.

In two days, the tuck pointing on the north and south sides of our building and our piping was done. Very professional. Highly recommend.

There are many waterproofing companies, and we feel like we have explored them all. Eric Leonard and his company stand out among the companies we have investigated and/or used in the past. Many waterproofers are just looking to sell you all manner of sevices, from filling cracks to installing drain tile and sump pumps to the tune of thousands of dollars. In contrast to the others, Eric never tried to sell us anything. He took the time to investigate and fully understand where our water problem was coming from before developing a plan of action. In fact, Eric encouraged us to first try other self-help and low cost fixes to correct our water problem without taking a penny from us. When those actions were insufficient, he came out with his team and fixed the problem. Highest recommendation.

Timely, we needed it done before vacation, and were there in week before. Said two days and it was done in two. A lot of rock and dirt was removed with no real cleanup at all. Very professional. Explained what they did as they went. Clean job.

Arrived on time and always professional. Gave a written estimate and did not add charges. Very knowledgeable and easily explained issues and remedies. Gave expert advice on other ways to avoid water running to the house. Very comfortable with contractor and felt no need to stay and supervise. I would recommend to others.

Eric and the guys did a great job! The retaining wall is beautiful and really adds to overall appeal of our back yard. The most exciting part is that our yard is no longer a swamp and our dogs do not come in from playing covered in mud. The second french drain along the side of the house has really helped the water in the basement. We plan on getting Eric out there soon to work on some existing water damage in the basement.

In spite of this being a busy season, Eric came soon after he came out and gave me a bid. He was professional and polite. The quality of his work was excellent and the charge was$350.00. I would definitely hire him again.

Eric was there when he said he would be and had the project done in record time. The guys did a great job mitigating our water issue.

LEONARD DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB IN REPAIRING ALL OF THE CRACKS AND TAKING CARE OF THE LEAKING WE HAD BEEN EXPERIENCING. HE IS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND NEAT. THERE WAS NO SMELL AND THE CRACKS ARE DONE TO PERFECTION.

Eric came it and did a fabulous job. Was on time, generous, and was right on with price. Will definately use him on my next project.
