Description of Work: Furnace routine maintenance

Description of Work: Our gas fireplace was not performing as expected. Star staff person came out, did a complete review of the unit and determined the problem. He make the adjustments and cleaned the unit. After the basic stuff was done, he said that there were some minor issues with some of the wiring that could cause problems in the future. He repaired those issues within the price for a basic service call.

Description of Work: Replaced the gas log/fireplace insert. The prior company who had installed the fireplace when it was new was impossible. Difficult to get service and did not get back to me to replace a broken "log," which I would gladly have paid for. The Star people were fantastic! I like the new produce and it was a delight to work with Star compared to my last company which is now out of business. The above cost was for the insert and the complete installation. This time I treated myself to a remote control on the fireplace, which made the cost higher...but it sooo nice!

Description of Work: First of all I obtained bids from 3 companies. Star's bid was in line with what I thought it should be based on equipment cost. | |Star installed a heat pump and air handler for me in my shop/garage. They quickly came and gave me a bid when I requested it and installation was started and completed on the same day about a week later and they did a very good job. | |They of course had to drill a hole through my garage wall to install the line set but forgot to plug the hole around the lines before they left. When I called to tell them about it they sent a person out to plug the hole within the hour so I think they still deserved an A for professionalism. ALso, a day after the install I happened to look at the outside unit and saw a fine oil over the top of it and a few spots on my siding. It turns out that the installers had too much oil in their vacuum pump and it threw it out when they were vacuuming the lines. As soon as I called they sent a supervisor and another technician out to make sure there was nothing wrong and immediately cleaned up the oil. In my opinion you don't see service like that very often.

Description of Work: They found a leak in my AC coil. They were extremely quick on getting a new coil in for me and I haven't had any problems since then.

Description of Work: These guy responded quickly on a hot summer day had the part on truck and had me up and running in no time. They were much more resonable than other outfits I contacted
