Description of Work: Reed Heating gave us an estimate and we have heard nothing but good things about them. We didn't select them because we went with Air Water Solutions who could provide everything we needed (heat pump, air conditioner, tankless water heater and water softener) plus do all the paper work for the rebates offered through the city. If you are just replacing your furnace or air conditioner I would recommend them.

Description of Work: I knew I was low on freon because unit was iced up. They charged me $67 for freon, plus 2 hours of labor at $100 per hour. I feel like he messed around cleaning air filters for 30+ minutes and that's not really worth $50 to me. Then he called me with an estimate to replace leaking coil, but I feel like he priced it for an upgraded version instead of basic unit. Probably will try somebody else next time.

Description of Work: I used Reed Heating and Air Conditioning last July. They checked the air conditioning and cleaned all the ducts. They were trying to figure out why my a/c wasn't working. He power-washed my air filter.

Description of Work: They fixed my humidifier on my furnace which had not worked properly for some time. The other company that came out several times did not fix the problem. It took a little while to fix it but the person stayed with it until it was working properly and 3 months later it is still working.

Description of Work: We use Reed Heating & Air Conditioning for heating and plumbing. They were last here because our air conditioner was making a really loud noise. They checked out the unit and the filter ended up being frozen so they cleaned out the filter and checked everything else out.

+ -1 moreWe set up an appointment with Reed Heating and Air and they came over right away ... told us when they would return to do the job and arrived when expected. These people are courteous and friendly ... work as expected and clean up after themselves. We think they're great!
Description of Work: Needed someone to do duct work on an existing furnace/air conditioning unit in order to fit our new washer and dryer into a very compact space. We were very pleased with their professionalism, courtesy, cleanliness and work. We would definitely have these people back into our home. We highly recommend them.

+ -1 moreIt was one of the first hot days. After noticing the house was not being cooled enough, I checked inside and outside and noticed the ice. Made a phone call and they came two days later, which was OK because the weather was not that hot and many people were having A/C problems, bieng the start of the cooling season.
Description of Work: A/C was losing refrigerant and ice was accumulating near the A/C unit. The leaking part was replaced and refrigerant was added.

+ -1 moreThey are always prompt and they are very professional. We’ve been using them for years and they’ve done a number of things for the furnace and the air conditioner. We had a kitchen fire prior to that and they had to replace the filters and do a lot of stuff because the people before hadn’t cleaned out the furnace. They are very good and you can count on the quality of their service.

+ -1 moreThey are thorough, professional and competent. They are very nice people. I have never had a trouble with my furnace or air conditioner since they keep it in perfect shape. I have had them for 20 years. The price that they charge is not a lot. They checked everything and did everything that needed to be done during their last visit. I have no idea as to what other companies would charge for what they did. I am very happy with what they did. I think it was reasonable. I would definitely use their services in the future too.
Description of Work: I use the services of Reed Heating & Air Conditioning twice a year. They came out in May to service my air conditioner.
