Description of Work: Ran a camera down the toilet. We had removed the toilet first, ourselves and put it back on, to save money. Our old clay pipe had a belly in it, which may be serviced or replaced in the future.

Description of Work: Water had collected in my basement. I thought it was the sewer line, so I asked the tech to clear it out. He quoted me a price for that, but then did a quick check and determined that the sewer line was not the issue - it was a stuck trap underneath the floor. The final bill was significantly less than the quote, since the sewer line was just fine.

Description of Work: I have used Mr Rooter for the last 3-4 years because he knew how to fix my old water heater, which finally went out in July 2011. He does good work, is very professional, and offers an "Advantage" membership ,which will save you money on many jobs he performs. a few years ago, he noticed my plumbing did NOT have a pressure valve? It regualtes the water pressure in the house Great Service and I highly recommend him!!

My wife said it was entertaining to her because the plumber that came made it really clear that he was kind of annoyed that the place where we had the access to the pipe was in our basement and there was no door, so he had to carry his big old machine through our house and down the basement stairs. She said she kind of got a chuckle out of how perturbed he acted. He gave his personal commentary on the way our house is laid out, which I did not like. We had just had it done and I haven't even run the water in our bathroom where the drain was running slow, so I am not sure about the quality of work. Their responsiveness was good; my wife called them yesterday afternoon and they came right out this morning. I may use them in the future if I do not find someone better in professionalism and price.
Description of Work: We used Mr Rooter of Columbia Missouri today because we had a drain that was running slow which made me think that we probably needed to have our main sewer line snaked. They came and snaked it. They had a camera so they were able to see what was going on.

+ 0 moreHe gave his assessment that there was no major break or hole in the pipe and that no further major pipe replacement was needed. I thought this was honest because he could have told me they needed to dig up the yard and put new pipes in at a cost of thousands of dollars. I now trust Mr. Rooter and will call that company again.
Description of Work: Toilet would not flush completely with some backup into the drain in the nearby tub. Technician removed the toilet, used power snake to clean out roots grown into old iron pipes, then used camera with monitor to show me interior of pipe walls. He also tightened the connection of the toilet to the floor and repaired a leaky faucet.

+ 1 moreWhen they did their free camera inspection they found a broken fitting and needed to excavate. They made all the arrangements, informed me of the step by step process and showed up on time and did exactly what they said. It even cost less than their estimate.
