Description of Work: due to hot weather I had to wait for someone to do the job. It took a few weeks to get the service done and a couple of appointments, as well as several phone calls.

Description of Work: Cleared out a condensate in our a/c. He was an hour late for the appointment, even though he called to say he was on the way. We were charged for an hour when the work took maybe 20 minutes. Overall friendly, and did the job we asked, but would not use again due to price and punctuality.

Description of Work: Called them on Monday morn. Explained that we needed a pressure valve installed on our water line. They said they would have Plumber get back in touch with me. In a short time, Plumber called me back. He was able to give me an estimate and made arrangements to come later the same day. He was very courteous and professional. Job was completed timely and for no more than the initial estimate. Would use them again.

Description of Work: I was totally impressed with their service. They came out the same day I called, Gave me a written quote of $800. Knocked off another $100 from the quote. That day, they had the utility companies marking sewage, water, and gas lines. They were right on the case at every turn! The day they projected to begin work, they came out and, presented me with a "miracle". Yes, I had a leaking water which we thought we'd have to dig up...but... When they went to turn off the water, they found under the crawl space, the a defective waterline joint spraying water the under the house! They fixed that leak in about 5 five minutes (or less! Suddenly, instead of being faced with a $800-700.00 bill, they just as asked for $114.00 and my problem was solved beautifully! They've done work successfully in the past, but this latest contract with A&W completely exceeded any and all my expectations! A great company, with great contractors totally reliable and true to their word!

Description of Work: 5 items were promptly addressed : (1)a toilet turn-off valve was leaking and was replaced with a new one ; (2) a toilet from which you could hear continuously running water was rebuilt with a kit; (3) a bathtub faucet was rebuilt to stop a shower head from dripping; (4) a 40+ Yr. old toilet that repeatedly overflowed was treated with acid (this toilet previously had been roto-rootered , but this plumber, Rob, told me the solution was to either install a new one or try an $80 treatment with acid with just a 50% chance of that working. I chose the acid and luckily it worked. He had to go get the acid as he felt it was unsafe to stock on his truck; (5) the reason for a wet section of wallboard in the basement ceiling was diagnosed (my son had already cut out a portion of it) and the problem fixed by replacing the old and/or missing caulking around where the bathtub/shower faucet fixtures join the tile in the bathroom directly above the wet wallboard. That bathtub/shower is only used when out-of-towners visit, so it may be a while before I can say for sure that solved the wet ceiling wallboard problem. However, he seemed to have no doubt about it. I had been dreading having to locate a good plumber and was extremely pleased with the job done by Rob from Air and Water Solutions that I found on Angie's list. I'd definitely call him again when needing any plumbing services.

Description of Work: He came to look at 4 small jobs and gave me a cost quote on 3 of them. The 4th only needed a minor adjustment for which he didn't charge( I like that a lot). The only other one I had time for him to do was rebuilding the inside controls in the hall bathroom toilet. I have to schedule him back to do the other jobs, It's my schedule thats holding things up, not his.

Description of Work: Air & Water Solutions did come out to my house and sent me a bid for the cost of an electric tankless water heater and installation - an estimate of approximately $1,500. However, due to a family illness, I will not be able to follow through until after the Christmas holidays. I emailed them to that effect and asked for a bid without the price of the water heater, as I found it online at what may be a lower price. I do still plan to have the heater installed, but not for a couple of months. The "C" for price is strictly because I have not heard back on the cost of the heater itself.
