They are good.

I used their services throughout 2011. I so much wanted to like this company. Ed and company really want to treat the customer right and they do excellent work. After having great luck with their sprinkler service, I decided to contract with them for landscaping and maintenance. There work is great, their front office, billing, etc., needs a LOT of work. For our first job, we were bid $1,506.00. After the work was completed, we received a bill for $1746. The additional amounts were for two plants that were billed for double the estimate and for labor that was double the estimate. We were home the entire time the work was being performed and no one bothered to ring the doorbell to let us know about the additional charges. The bill also showed a due date of 7/28/11 and it was sent to us on 8/5/11. The response I received was that the two plants cost them twice what they estimated. My point is that we should have been consulted on the additional cost before they planted them. We would not have paid that much. They settled this matter by splitting the additional charge for labor, bring the invoice down $90. The second job was completed in September. I sent them an email stating: "I am scheduling this for payment; however, I once again need to express some displeasure. I'm not unhappy about any of the work that has been done, but I am very unhappy about the lack of communication. I realize I signed up for a fall service, but logic says that if we had all of our bushes trimmed around the first of August, they wouldn't need it again at the end of September. Someone should have talked to us about exactly what we needed for this treatment. At this time, I wish to discontinue any regularly scheduled landscape service. We've been very pleased with your sprinkler service and we will contact you when we desire sprinkler or landscape service." I agreed to meet with Eric in late December to reconsider our decision to cancel services. He assured us that we would be contacted prior to any scheduled services. Last month we received an invoice by email. The attached invoice was a .dat file which is an invalid file format so we couldn't read it. It also linked to a payment service which showed a payment due of $1400+. No work has been done! We talked to Eric and he seemed surprised that we had not received an email detailing what was going to be done THAT week! Obviously the front office problems persist.

I would recommend this company to a friend. The installation crew was great and they made sure that I was completely satisfied with my system.

They were here previously in the spring to begin the project. They were slow. It took them quite a while to get here both times. I thought the price was reasonable for the new box and rain sensor but I thought they were overpriced for the repair work.

They got back with me very quickly - bid higher than most . Tried to strong arm me into services I did not want. Promised work done either Fri or Sat. No show. Called and left msgs at office and personal mail for Eric Williams. Never even recvd a courtesy call back explaining why they did not come.

Company did not install french drain correcly. the slope of the drain is higher on one side of the yard which means the drain does not work. Failed to connect all downspouts to the drain as laid out in the proposal for work. Drain endings are not capped, but one has a trash bag stuffed in the end by the crew to cap it. Even after we install additional drain heads in the low spots because Green Grass set them too high in the yard, the system does not drain properly. Crew did not use laser level to get correct slope, even though they had the equipment in the yard during install. I think this was just for appearence, Im not sure.

Upon signing of the contract, I emailed it back stating the contract said I was paying by check but would be using a credit card. I got a response that that was fine and that the office manager would contact me to set up the appointment. I then did not hear a peep for over a week. [In hindsight, I was told it would be about a week and a half before they'd get to my project, however, I didn't expect to wait that long for ANY contact. I expect some sort of advanced notice/appointment] After not hearing and wondering what was going on, I called several times but the phone was usually answered by a machine. The one time I got a person, they immediately asked with whom I was dealing and cut me off saying they'd have that person call me back. He did - but I was in a meeting and unable to answer. Frustrated, I never called HIM back. The DAY I was going to call and cancel the project, the office manager left a message that they would be arriving at my place first thing the next morning. No notice - no asking if that worked... just a statement. (I did call back and voice my frustration, but kept the appointment.) At 8:30 that morning I got a call from the project lead. He said they had errands to run and they would be at my place shortly. The workers were VERY nice and did good work; however I'm not happy with the 'solution'. All that happened was the puddle in my yard was relocated. It does not drain to other areas. Nor do I understand how an open hole will push the water up. At least before the drain would prevent backflow. I think there is still a bunch of water hanging out in the tubing with no release. Shortly after the workers arrived, the original contact person called to remind me to give the project lead a check; at the end of the day the project lead asked for my check. Poor communication and attention to details. When the office manager called for my CC number I stated I was not content - and they DID offer to come and look at it - but really, I don't have the patience to wait for them again, nor the faith that it can be corrected as desired (NO water in my yard).

Ed (owner) came out and gave me his opinion and estimate. We negotiated what I considered was a very fair price. His crew came out the following week to scope out the job. The install date was pushed back a few times due to the heavy rains. When the crew did the job they showed up exactly on time and got right to work. They asked me questions and made sure they did everything according to plan. I was very impressed with their punctuality, professionalism and price. After the job was completed Ed came out to inspect the work himself and make sure I was completely satisfied with the results.

They did not charge for coming out. They were fine, but I did not use them to do any work. Their prices were a little higher than the company that I have decided to go with.

This is the second time I have used this company and couldn't be happier with their service, promptness, and price.

The few adjustments that I?ve had, they?ve come right out to straighten them out. I even made some alterations that could have cost me a lot of money but they didn?t take advantage of me and charged me a very reasonable price. They also do snow removal and ice removal during the winter, which is a wonderful program! I would highly encourage people to take advantage of it.

They were very good and their approach was very professional. They told what would be the exact price and I was very pleased with the approach. I didn't use them because their price was more than the other company that I used. They were very responsive because they called me back after a week and they were very punctual.

Excellent reasonably priced work. The estimate was exact. They also located sprinkler heads I didn't know I had. I've lived here for five years and the system was installed by previous owner. They explained everything they did and prices were very fair. I know I saved more than enough to pay for my Angie;s List subscription!

Everything went well. The installers had to work through two days of rain and storms which delayed everything but it all went well.

They did a great job. Every part of the experience was wonderful. There was minimal amount of damage done to the yard. They did all of the adjustments. They did an estimate and never charged for it.

It took a while for the company to return my call but once they did they were available the same day and came within an hour. They explained how the system worked and what needed to be done.

Superior quality and excellent! They built the mulch up around the trees and was very generous! The price is very reasonable!

My experience with this couple was very good and restored my faith in the working man.

They did an excellent job of the installation and the cleanup afterward. It was beautiful. One head needed to be adjusted, they are very good about coming back to take care of that. They are very prompt. They were very good business for the quality. They warranty was about a year longer than every bodies else.
