He came to review the project and give me a bid. He stated that he needed a few days to put the bid together. I waited a week and emailed the company. I never heard back from them.

Handyman Connection responded very quickly (literally the next morning) to my request for a estimate on replacing a door. They came out within 2 hours of contacting me, gave a very good estimate on a replacement door, offered to order the door themselves and bring it with them for the install. Saved me from having to go order and have the door delivered myself. They also installed the Schlage Smart Lock that I bought with ease. I will most definitely use them again!

Knowledgeable team provided estimate and then came back to do the work. The quality of the work was great and they cleaned up after themselves. Months later, no issues with the work they did. I would definitely use their services again. Thank you!

The good: 1)For the most part my ceiling is smooth. There are some parts where you can still see some popcorn texture and some places where it wasn't evenly sanded. Also, there were some places that got missed when it was painted. 2)I got an appointment immediately for an estimate and work to begin. 3)It was Thanksgiving week. Greg and his co-worker came back the day after Thanksgiving, as well as, Saturday to finish the job. They were polite and tried to clean as best as they could. They worked daily 9-3:30. The bad: 1) When I first got the estimate, I was not told it was for labor only. It does state in a box by the customer info the customer is responsible for materials outside the labor. Here's how I interpreted it, if they had to do extra work that was unforeseen then obviously the customer would have to pay for it. Warning, whatever materials they need to buy they add a 15% surcharge onto it (not written anywhere in the contract) I've never had a vendor not include materials in their estimates 2)The original agreement was for 1x3 wood firs to be nailed to the ceiling joints, drywalled, primed and painted. On the day labor began, Greg mentioned that he was going to have to sand the popcorn down anyways to get it even so they were going to try to scrape it and I wouldn't have to lost an 1 1/2 in in ceiling height. Sounded good, yet the labor was still the same price. I was going to save on materials since no wood nor drywall was needed and my crown molding did not need to be removed.The original plan just sounded more labor intensive to me so the same labor price was questionable to me. Overall, it was a decent job. The materials not being included in the estimate and the 15% surcharge on top of it just bothers me. I live 5 min. from a big box store.

Everything went well. They have done a lot of small jobs for me over the years, they are always polite, professional and skilled in many trades. Steve and Charlie are amazing, they work hard by going above and beyond. I recommend to everyone

The company came out for estimate. I waited one month for the estimate and finally contacted them again to find out what was going on. They said they had trouble with the quote the estimator submitted and needed a new one. I asked why I was not contacted about this. They stated it must have been over looked. They came out to give me another quote but I did not use them because they were not professional and never carried through until I contacted them. I felt they were not reliable.

Not well. The First Contractor we had to fire since he did least than quality work. But Handyman Connection did partially refund our down payment. Was not a good experience.

I received bids as high as $10,000 to replace the back porch; but this contractor knew he could repair it. There were minor scheduling problems -- some my fault. The price was fair for the work actually needed, and the work was done professionally in a timely manner. I am satisfied with the results and would use this contractor again.

Contractor was very professional showing when he said he would, doing the work in a timely fashion, and cleaning up when finished.

Went well. He purchased and installed drywall.

Initially it did not go well. I contacted them for an estimate and arranged for a time. Nobody showed up. I called and they got someone to my place several hours later. After I scheduled the job, I got an automatic email stating they hadn't heard from me. I contacted them about this and they were very responsive. I thought Steve was professional and prompt. The job had to be delayed for a day because of rain. Steve called that day stating he would do the job tomorrow. He showed up when he said he would and did a good job. I thought the price was really reasonable. Despite the initial problems, I think they do a good job at a reasonable price.

Handyman Connection was amazing. We needed the wood siding replaced on the south side of our house and initially had a hard time finding someone to help us. The job was too big for the first couple handymen we contacted and too small for siding companies (who just wanted to replace all of the siding on our entire house with vinyl). They were out to do an estimate within days of us contacting them, and the job was finished within about week. We were in kind of a hurry to get the job done because our house was on the market. They sent out 3 guys to do the job, and even finished on time and on budget--despite a worker quitting mid-job and the fact it was blazing hot mid-July! They matched the paint perfectly to the rest of the exterior, and the end result looks phenomenal. Greg and the rest of the company was a pleasure to work with--we didn't know we needed a lien waiver, but when we requested one they got it too us asap. We will definitely be calling Handyman Connection for future inside and outside projects!

The repairman was very nice and helpful.

It went great! No problems, no mistakes. He arrived on time, performed the work quickly and competently. He was very friendly and obviously knew what he was doing. John will be the first guy we ask for the next time we need a handyman.

They came out seem professional at first. But they could not give a upfront estimate so that is why they were supposed to email or call me within the next day

They said that my dryer vent needed to be resealed and unclogged. They did that, but it didn't solve the problem. I ended up using another service provider who solved the issue. The issue was actually being caused by a bird's nest.

He removed the old threshold, replaced it with a new one, and calked and painted the threshold.

Discussed work and had agreement on the date and time. Provider did not show or call. When I called the office to check, the phone had already been switched to the after hours contact. Extremely disappointed since I have been waiting 8 business days for this appointment and taken time off work.

I wanted a faucet that you can pull it out and spray, and he picked out an awesome one. Our experiences with them have been really really good.

Set up three appointments to hang curtain rods and fix a few things. Cancelled three times. Never will use them again. They are not reliable.

We're very pleased with what they did. They did very good work, were very nice, and cleaned up after themselves. I was only slightly dissatisfied with the communication from the front office follow-up, but we got it all sorted out the next day. I would still highly recommend them.
