Fresh Air Heating & Cooling

The service tech, arrived on time. Worked for well over an hour making sure he covered all aspects of the air conditioners. Went outside and completely cleaned the outside units. We have used Fresh Air for 16 years, and have purchased a service agreement with them each year. The service agreement runs roughly $272 (we have two heaters, two air conditioners, and two humidifiers). This is an excellent company to do business with. Easy to schedule an appointment. The technicians are very knowledgeable and very neat. They kept our old units going as long as possible, but in 2008 they told us our units were now becoming unsafe. We had total confidence in them and so we purchased all new units. They did the work, which again was outstanding, to install all the units we needed. I never once feel like "we have been taken." I totally trust what they say.

A/C unit broke on weekend. Representative from the company arrived next day as was promised. Explained in detail the necessity of A/C replacement, suggested good deal for furnace replacement too (both were 30 years old). The work was done next day very professionally and in time. Some excessive noise from A/C bothered us and we called again. Upon next appointment the muffler was installed and some additional balancing work was done to quiet A/C (no charge). Very satisfied.

The repairman was professional, knowledgeable, and personable. We have used Fresh Air Weinrich for 33 years and will continue to use them and will continue to tell our friends about their excellent service.

Kevin has been the (tech) one to check our system and both in the fall & spring for about 12 years now. He is always on time & reliable.

I was very happy with Fresh Air-Weinrich and used the coupon posted for the service repair. I will be calling them back when it's time to purchase new furnace and air conditioner!

Called ahead that repairmen was on his way. Service took 1 hour. Appropriate amount of time. Always wear booties in the house. Efficient, polite, through.

We started using them 3 years ago and liked them so well that when we needed to replace our a/c, they were our only consideration! They have even come to our house for repair on a holiday!

They did just fine. They came out the day they were supposed to. I didn't compare their prices. They were very responsive, which was probably the best thing.

I recommend them highly. They have done a tremendous job for us. I went in for a high efficiency air-conditioner and a more expensive furnace. I am sure I could have done for a lot less. They are excellent installers as well as they do a good job in maintenance work on your equipment. Price wise it was high because I got an expensive unit. I like them very much.

The service rep showed up on time for theinitial appointment, and suggested that we just try adding some freon to the system to take care of the problem (rather than run a leakage test). Then he proceeded to try and sell us a maintenance package that would provide general services, and some additional cost benefits, for any future services. Less than a month later we still had a problem with the air conditioning unit, and called Fresh Air out again to isolate the problem. But because we didn't purchase their maintenance plan. we were charged ANOTHER diagnostic fee, on top of an inspection fee, to finally locate the leakage. After paying almost $400 just to find out what the problem was. we ended up using a different company (Absolute Comfort Systems) to fix it. They were cheaper. and got the job right the first time.

House AC stopped working, company responded within 3 hours of being called and had the problem fixed within an hour of arrival. It turns out to have been a bad electrical wire to the ac unit. Technician was knowledgable and friendly. Had no problems using the Angie's List coupon. Would definitely use this service again.

My A/C went out middle of the night on Thursday, but I didn't have time to deal with it until Sunday. I placed a call mid-morning on Sunday, and Tim returned the call within 10 minutes. He promised to have someone out "later this afternoon"; I didn't pin him down on a time, since I wasn't going anywhere. About 2pm I got a call from the tech, Kevin, saying he was on his way. He arrived about 20 minutes later and immediately found the problem - a blown capacitor. Less than 20 minutes later the part was replaced, and cool air was blowing again. Kevin gave me a brief, no-pressure overview of their annual servicing contract, and he was on his way -- polite, professional, friendly.

They send the same guy every spring/fall to check the system for my warrenty. He does a very through check of everything and they stand behind their products.

Overall, it went very well. We will use this company again for AC/heating service.

I have been using them for years. They are a wonderful company. They operate by appointments and they are always on time. I have used multiple technicians and they have all been competent, well trained, disciplined, and they call ahead of time before they arrive. They give you a morning or afternoon window, so you don’t have to miss a whole day of work. They are courteous and clean. I would never consider going somewhere else because I like them so much.

I switched to them because I knew one of the kids that was working there. I was very happy with their service. I signed up for a yearly contract with them. I spent $500 on that work. One of my daughter?s friends who went to school with her works there. They were located not too far from where I live and I decided to change to them.

The service was great and everything was performed in a timely manner.

The price was competitive and the service very professional. The installers were on time and completed the work without any difficulty in short order. The sales consultant was very responsive to all questions both by phone and email; no pressure. We will use this group again.

We asked 5 companies for quotes (all rated A on Angies list). Fresh Air-Weinrich was the lowest price when comparing the same scope. Even when I asked them to add on an electronic air cleaner, the incremental cost was less. They provided me with insurance certificates before starting work (this is needed to protect yourself), and scheduled the work to start within 1 week. The first technician showed up 15 minutes early (good), and brought in different people during the day to perform different tasks. The first technician was there for the whole installation. When the job was over, the technician went through the work that had been done, showed me what each part was, and explained the required maintenance and operation of the new system. It was a very good experience.

Our first time to use this service. We put in for the AC/Heater combo contract. Everything cost what they quoted and the guy was professional. He even showed me how to remove and clean our electrostatic filter (no extra charge, thank you).
