It went well. No high pressure from salesman. Windows came in early. Installation went well and job was done professionally. We would use them again.

They always do quality work and their clean up is great.

They did a good job and they followed up how they were supposed to. The salesman was very good. I don't deal with anybody that high pressures me. I would recommend them and use them again in the future.

My experience with this company was fine. They were timely. They did a neat job. They did what they said they were going to do. I would recommend them and use them again.

They have always been very responsive. They come out when we call them and there are no problems. They have done more work than we asked them to and did not even charge us. We've compared prices with many companies and they always have the best prices. There is no grief.

It was very good. They came when they said they were going to and completed the work in two days. They cleaned up after themselves. It was very cold the day they came, so instead of taking all the windows out at once they took one out at a time and installed them that way. I appreciated that. The installer was courteous and professional.

The salesman came by (I'm bad with names), showed up on time and gave us an estimate and a drawing of the proposed kitchen. He helped us make some decisions about what we wanted to change, took measurements and drew up the contract. We planned on paying for it outright, so they were able to get right on the job. They ordered the materials and we waited for them to show up for a while. It took a couple of months from the time of the estimate to the time of the installation. During that time, at least one additional person came by to verify the measurements. During the installation, they found that we had no electricity in the wall where the countertops and cabinets were going. Additionally, they found that the electricity we had wasn't up to standards. It looked as though we were going to end up getting dinged for some additional costs, as the electricians didn't expect to install more than one electrical outlet, that being on the new island. After much hand wringing, it was determined that the salesperson had no reason to think there would be electricity in the wall, and it should have been in the contract, and it was decided that he intended for them to install the appliances, with whatever that implied, and it implied that the electricity would need to be run. We did not get charged any extra for the unplanned electrical work. The installers even managed to install an overhead microwave that I got from the bargain section at a store. I found that it didn't have any installation instructions or templates, and the pdf's I downloaded said they were necessary, but the installers didn't seem to have much trouble. We even determined it was in the bargain section because it had some stripped screw holes, but they made it work, and it all looks great.

When we received the bill, they charged more than agreed upon because of the extra repairs. When we challenged it, they asked us what we were expecting to pay, we told them based on the estimate they had given us and they agreed. They told us they wanted us to be happy. They even honored the gift card they offered through Angie's List.

We had a roof leak so needed help ASAP. We called & they called us back within 24 hrs. to set an appointment to come to the house for an estimate. The representative was friendly & professional & gave us literature & shingle samples to review. The estimate was detailed & included choices for extra options. Their contract was detailed, unlike some of the other companies we contacted & I was happy about that. They allowed us to add to the contract so it specified EXACTLY what we were getting. They said they would get to us in 2-3 weeks but showed up within a week & completed the job in 2 days! That surprised me since I thought it would take longer. The supervisor was on-site & the workers did a good job of installing waterproofing mats, new plywood where needed, new pipes, & metal plates in squirrel/raccoon entry areas. The cleanup was thorough, including passing magnets around the area for nails & other metal that may have fallen. Our overall experience was positive.

They were excellent, on time, courteous, right on budget. They were perfect.

Bryan Bell arrived on time, looked at the windows--and we sat down to discuss the price. Bryan pressured me to agree to have his company be the one to replace my windows. His prices kept changing, but the worst of it all--he suggested I get a CASH ADVANCE FROM MY CREDIT CARD so I could pay him right then! And unless I paid him at that moment, he could not guarantee any price! What professional person would even have the guts to ask somebody to do that just so he could make a few bucks? I was rather disgusted to have to deal with a person who did not care about anybody else but his own pocket at whatever expense! Although the price was initially high, he brought it down to good--but I did not like his business practices!

They seemed priced right, and willing to get the job done. Haven't yet decided whether or not to use them for the windows. We did go with someone else for the door.

The sales person was at our house for about 1 1/2 hours. He was respectful and professional, until he realized we were not interested in the product or the quoted price. He lowered the price, but the new quote was only good if we signed the contract that very morning and if we agreed to wait to place our window order until another window order was also placed (to get a "bulk discount"). We were not ready to commit, as we still were waiting on several other quotes and had several concerns about how they would do the installation. There is wood molding around the interior of our windows that is in good condition. The sales person was not confident and could not guarantee that the trim would not be damaged during the window installation. In fact, the installer would "simply remove part of the molding" during installation. But they would not be responsible for any damage done to it in the removal or rehanging process. He did not seem to be accustomed to working in older homes.

They did a fantastic job. The crew was very conscientious and dedicated to doing the job right. I had received other bids that might have been lower, but the quality of work with this company made it worthwhile.

The quality of the work was not good. They had to come back several times to fix things and the "finished" product is still not to our standards.

The house looks great, and they did an amazing job. The salesman stayed involved through the job and let me know whenever they came across anything that was out of the ordinary. They provided me with the best service after I had dealt with 7 other companies. They had the best bid and follow through. The clean up in my yard was a C. They had set up their equipment and kind of wrecked the lawn, but that was the only negative part of the job. There was a little delay due to storms, but they communicated to me through all of that, but once they got started they finished in a timely manner with no hesitation.

Our home was hit by a hail storm. Dalco came out and gave us an estimate for all damaged areas. They worked with our insurance company to make sure we had sufficient money to take care of all the work that needed to be done. We are very happy with the professionalism of the company. The salesmen was very helpful and not high pressure at all. The work was done within the time frame we were given and we couldn't be happier with quality of the work that was done.

When Mr.Bell arrived, I knew immediately he was a salesman, first and foremost! We actually called for a bid just on windows, stormdoors, and a new gutter system, but by the time he was done we were getting new entry doors, siding on the back of the house, and I don't know what else! He stayed for 2 hours, of course he needed to, to write down all the work they'd be doing, and totaling up all the numbers! He had my husband convinced this was a great deal, I was not happy at all! He then told us the bid was only good until he left, and he'd need something down to hold it! My husband insisted we do it! Not happy, I gave him $200 check! The next morning I called the office and ask for the manager, Tom. He agreed with everything Mr.Bell said. I told him I wanted to cancel and get my check back. He said no problem. I never got the check back, I finally stopped payment on it, to make sure it wasn't cashed. Mr. Bell called me twice after that, he wanted to come back to talk with us,I said NO!

Jim Schallon gave us the best bid from the outset. He did not criticize other companies (which some other companies who also gave us estimates did), and told me what I should ask everyone I talked to. He was honest and explained what additional costs we might incur and what the maximum amount would be (there weren't any, but it's nice to be told that up front). The installers were professional, prompt, and did a great job cleaning up when they were finished. The windows look great! When someone from the company said they would call me back, they DID. I2011 - would like to add that several years later, we have called Dalco several times and asked them to caulk windows, or check leaking windows, and not only have they come out promptly, they have not charged us! The leaking around our windows actually wasn't caused by anything they did, it was from work done by the company that put on our siding, but they were willing to look and help troubleshoot without charging us a dime. You cannot beat customer service like that.

The sales manager I worked with was very accommodating and helpful with both the preparation and engineering of everything. I felt that the pricing was very fair. I used to be in the construction business and am very knowledgeable with this type of work.

I WAS SUPRISED THAT THERE WERE NO PRICING GAMES WITH BILL ERDEL, THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE. HE MEASURED MY WINDOWS, GAVE ME A PRESENTATION ON HIS PRODUCT AND THEN GAVE ME HIS BEST PRIZE. THERE WERE NO GAMES AND NO YARD SIGN DISCOUNT BALL!

A comedy (tragedy) of errors. Usu. arrived aft 10 am; changed work team 1/2 way thru project; dragged heavy bags of debris thru dining room, scratching floors; electrical subcontractor poor quality; had to re-do tub after drywall set; punched thru wall into our office by accident; installed floor model sink when we ordered new (had to re-do); told us we could paint, spent the weekend painting, then they decided the work on the walls wasn't done, so we wasted weekend (they did repaint); didn't caulk everywhere they needed to; one obvious corner not a 90 degree angle (used to be); main light source (wall sconce) not centered over mirror. There's probably more, but I'm trying to forget it. Most stressful remodel we've ever done. To their credit, they do keep coming back to fix some things; others they say they can't fix--that's the best they can do with our ''old'' house (1940s). Also, the plumbing subcontr was good, too bad he didn't get to install tub 2nd time. Also drywall guy very nic

I DID NOT HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO REALLY PRICE SHOP, BUT THEIR SALESMAN WAS THE ONLY ONE INTERESTED IN TALKING TO ME AT LAST YEAR'S HOME SHOW. THE INSTALLERS WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL AND DID A GOOD JOB OF CLEANING UP. ON ONE OF THE DOORS, THE REINSTALLATION OF OUR STORM DOOR CAUSED A PROBLEM, AND I GOT A CALL AT WORK TO CHECK ON HOW I WANTED TO PROCEED. THEY PROVIDED A MEANS FOR FINANCING, BUT THE BANK DID A POOR JOB OF FOLLOW UP AND WE HAD TO CONTEST A LATE CHARGE. OVERALL WE'RE VERY PLEASE WITH THE WORK AND THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT.

THEY WERE PROMPT, EFFICIENT, AND PROFESSIONAL.

I RECEIVED AN ESTIMATE IN MAY 2004. I CALLED ON NOVEMBER 22 REQUESTING THE WORK BE DONE (THEY HONORED THE PRICES QUOTED IN MAY). LARRY (SALES REPRESENTATIVE) CAME OVER THAT DAY FOR CONTRACT SIGNING AND DOWNPAYMENT. HE WAS THOROUGH, PROFESSIONAL AND UNDERSTANDING OF MY CURRENT SITUATION. BY DECEMBER 10TH THE WORK WAS COMPLETED. JOE, THE INSTALLER, AND HIS PARTNER WERE PROMPT AND COURTEOUS AND DID AN EXCELLENT JOB ON THE INSTALLATION. EVERYTHING WAS CLEANED UP AND ALL DEBRIS WAS REMOVED FROM THE PREMISES. I NOW WISH I HAD INCLUDED MORE ON THE CONTRACT. (I.E. NEW LIGHTING & NEW TOILET). PRICING WAS IN LINE WITH THE OTHER ESTIMATES RECEIVED. I NEED TO STATE THAT THE ROOM WORKED ON WAS IN THE BASEMENT SO ALL OF THEIR GEAR, NEW SHOWER AND OLD TUB & DEBRIS HAD TO BE HAULED UP AND/OR DOWN A FULL LENGTH STAIRWAY.
