They work went great. I would use them again without giving it a thought. They were really good.

We got several bids on windows and they were all pretty close, but we were the most impressed with Dalco. My husband liked the fact that it is a local co. and can be easily reached. The windows are actually made here in Missouri and the installers have been with the Co. for 30 yrs. It was a NO pressure sale. The installer was great. Super professional, neat and quick. We LOVE our new windows. They're beautiful and we can already tell a difference with heating and cooling. I would recommend Dalco to everyone!

It went very well, they showed up early and worked through the day. We've used them in the past and we are always pleased.

Overall, it was a great experience. Dalco's roofing team came out first to remove the two layers of old shingles, then replace with new shingles, as well as, install a ridge vent. This was completed in one day. The siding crew was excellent. Because of all the work needed, this part of the job took over two weeks to do, especially because of holidays and winter weather. Larry and Alex did a fantastic job and were very thorough in all the details, including caulking around the windows after the new siding was installed. I would highly recommend Dalco.

I was very pleased with the door and quality. I feel they did an excellent job. If they miss something, they will come back and correct the problem.

From start to finish, the staff and crew were easy to work with and responsive to our needs. The work needed to be completed within a very short time frame to accommodate our insurance requirements, and Dalco really pulled out all the stops to get it done. The crew arrived on time, and Brian (the crew chief) explained what was going to happen and when, asked me if I had any questions, and told me where he would be at all times during the job, and whom to contact if any additional questions came up (they didn't) during the job when he wasn't around. Gotta say, I really appreciated this extra communication - most contractors just do their thing and you have no idea the communication process to follow during or after the job. Anyway, the job took 2 days, the crew was very professional and careful, and the clean-up was magnificent (no nails on my driveway or trash in my flowerbeds)! A week later I had the gutters/downspouts replaced by a different contractor, and they told me what a great job the roofers did: I figure they must know a thing or 2 about roofs, since they're up on them all day replacing gutters. The other work was also completed in a timely fashion. We will definitely use Dalco again and recommend them without reservation.

Installers we fast and did a great job. Saw a few nails after the project but in general they were thorough in their cleanup. I called the owner a week later during a rain storm because I thought I heard rain coming in and he sent someone over the next day.

Every person that I interacted with was professional and thoughtful. They had to replace a bunch of old windows of non-standard sizes and fit them into window frames that are not really square after 100 years. They did a great job. The windows are great. Finished details are clean. I opened one of the windows the wrong way (there is a trick to tilting them in for cleaning) and got it screwed up and stuck. I called the company and they walked me through fixing it cery easily over the phone. I thought one of the windows was leaking so I called. They had someone here in about an hour. It turned out it was not the window, but part of a gutter that was leaking. The guy very kindly did a quick-fix on it just to be nice. I reviewed several window companies. These are the best windows and the company is so easy to deal with. The coupons for $100 window replacements from other companies that come in the mail are for really low-quality windows. Also, every one working for the company dealt with me appropriately. No talking down to me because I'm a woman.

I have used Dalco multiple times and am always pleased with them from estimate to finished product.

Great look. Good installer. Took care of our home and did all the cleanup. Gave tips on how to keep it looking good. Still looks like new today.

Excellent craftsmanship. Polite, courteous installers and Jack Mansfield, who originally planned and estimated the costs was terrific. We did have a problem with the kitchen cabinets not arriving on time. There was extensive electrical and plumbing work required, which we did not originally anticipate. However, Jack explained that once they got started, they may find additional issues.

The door came in when they said it was. The installer showed up when they said he would. They were very professional and it was an all around great experience. I'm getting ready to replace my front door and while they may have been a little pricey, it wasn't by much. The great customer service was worth the small amount of extra cost.

Awesome. Estimator was professional and courteous and he was not pushy. Project manager for each job was also professional and courteous. The crew cleaned up all of the debris from the yard. We will use them again.

It went well. Like all window sales companies they want 1.5 hours of your time for a sales pitch. But the price was a third of the other two guys I talked to. I got 11 vinyl windows, 9 were the same size ~30" x 60", the other two were smaller (bathroom and kitchen). I chose the dark bronze color over standard white. I got the full screens. I did not pay extra for the invisible-esque screen upgrade. In retrospect, I probably should have done that for the two windows I look out the most. Nine windows were double-hung, double-pane. The two windows in the garage were double-hung, single-pane. The sales guy's performance wasn't 'anything to write home about', but he came across as a normal person, not overly pushy. The installer on the other hand was impressive. He had all 11 windows installed in about 7 hours. He was polite, he cleaned up before he left, and he was amazingly fast. He accidentally removed some of the paint on the shutters as he took out one of the old windows. He took the time to repaint that small spot on the shutter (size of a quarter). I wouldn't have even noticed except he took the time to point it out during the final walk-around. The installer was excellent.

They get to you right away. They're responsible and professional.

Salesman Bill was great in explaining functions of the windows. Before Bill departed my home, I expressed my concern regarding a portion of hardwood floor that appeared to be rotten near my patio door. Bill reassured me that the installers will be made aware of the situation. The installers arrived in a timely manner early in the morning as promised. The work was done efficiently by Charlie and Craig. The two installers worked diligently throughout the day. I was informed by Craig that the decay of the hardwood floor was caused by my aluminum pato door. Apparently water had been seeping under the door for years. Craig explained that the problem would be correct by the run off feature on the patio door. He was able to repair the hardwood floor by placing wood under the area to act as a reinforcement. At the end of the day, the installers cleaned and placed trim around the windows. The installers removed all debris from the premises. I am satisfied with the product and services so far and I am looking forward to many years of enjoyment and energy savings.

They were professional and cleaned up any mess. It took a bit longer than they estimated but the windows look really nice from both the inside and outside.

We needed a new roof and got 7 estimates. The Dalco sales person gave us an estimate that was $2000.00 above any other bids we had gotten. When I told him that we probably would not use Dalco since the estimate was so much higher than the other, the sales person got very offensive. Stated that the other bids couldn't be from reputable companies, if there bids were that much lower than his. He re-did his figures for our estimate and still came in much higher. When I told him he could leave the estimate, but we probably would not use Dalco... he got so agitated, he slammed his notebook close, stood up and walked out of my house with out saying another word. So "not professional" and reminds me of the tactic I use to see 25 years ago when you let someone into your home for an estimate on work, and they kept bargaining and bargaining prices. Will never contact Dalco for ANY services.

From the sales team, to install, to after sales everyone is very helpful, professional and provides wonderful service for an excellent product

The 2 installers Arrived on time and very friendly. They had the old door out and the new one installed in about 1 hr. The door looks and operates great.

Dalco was very professional about the initial home visit and estimate. The salesman, Tom, was prompt and always followed up if we called him. He explained in detail about their products and warranties. I felt their price was fair and reasonable for the products we purchased. I needed them to return for a slight problem with the caulking and they followed up immediately. Since we had quite a large investment, we did the purchases in increments. We were promised a discount with such a large purchase, and up to date, that promise has been provided. There is still one purchase of a front door that we plan to make. Dalco does not contract out their installers, which was something we were looking for in a company. I would highly recommend them.

First, I'm extremely happy with Dalco and the services they provided! Sales Stage: From the beginning, the sales person was very knowledgeable, friendly and presented me with a number of options. The bid was very well presented and thorough and all of this was done on the first visit. They also explained every step of the process including the little, extra, bits like how they were going to use double-layered felt in certain areas and a weather-proof membrane in the valleys. The bid was pretty much competitive with other contractors (perhaps just slightly less), so I gave four stars for price. Would have given five stars if it was 700-1000 less, but I must say, giving four stars in no way is to say anything bad about the price. Pre-construction Stage: Just coming out of a cold and long winter, and since I personally felt more comfortable waiting for the weather to warm up, the people at Dalco were more than accommodating to my schedule and me asking to hold off installation for almost an entire month. They never pressured or bugged me about this decision for which I am thankful. Construction Stage: I was contacted a few days prior to the job about having the roofing materials dropped off sometime the coming week. Initially I was expecting the materials to be dropped off first, then at least a day or two for the installers to arrive. This turned out to be a call on Monday that both the materials and installation would happen the next day on Tuesday. Although I would have like a little more lead time in order to take off work, it wasn't that big of a deal and I completely understand how these things are dependent upon things like Mother Nature. The day of the installation, the installers arrived first thing in the morning (right on time) and got to work right away. Dalco has (what I can only refer to as) job site Managers/Foreman that arrived soon after with a trailer for the old roof and to (again what I can assume) make sure everything was going as planned. I introduced myself to this person (was very nice and sorry to have forgotten his name) and he let me know if there was anything I needed to call him or Dalco. The foreman was there for 20-30 minutes and left to attend to another job site. He returned once more about mid day before the new roof was about to be installed and yet again at the end of the day. The supplier for the roofing materials arrived a couple of hours into the removal of the roof, was very friendly and asked permission to use my driveway to offload the materials. So, to wrap this up, the installers were very efficient and did a great job installing the new roof and they cleaned up extremely well, and were very friendly. Basically, the outside of my house looked better than when they arrived, so I'm very happy for that. They even stayed well into a light rain shower to make sure the chimney flashing was finished. I would not only recommend Dalco (at least for a roof), but also look forward to using them again for other projects.
