They were punctual and very professional. They explained everything that was done and why it was needed. We were very satisfied with their service.

Made 5 attempts to set an appointment and I only received one call back. All of my calls went into voice mail so I prepaid for a service that I never received. I put this also on Angie's List because they are not doing the proper screening. You need to have the proper staffing levels to offer these services at a discount.

I signed up for their deal twice. The 1st time they never contacted me. The 2nd time appointments were set twice and both times they failed to show. I suspect they did not want to come to Il.

I only conversed with Tim over the phone, however I was told he had a professional manner as he did on the phone. Our fireplace which is gas and apparently very outdated and unused for years. He suggested some nice options. I was in agreement that an update and safer insert and logs were in order as was my partner who was home during the time of the visit. I do wish he would have at least cleaned it very well so it would have at least looked nice while not in use,...ie..clean the glass and the dirt between the glass and brass frame etc... I would like to use him however when we get ready to replace the logs themselves as long as he does the cleaning that I was hoping we would get during the tune up inspection phase.

I responded to their email and I have left 2 messages over the past week and I have NOT received a call back. Very disappointed.

Great! First service in 8 years so it was way overdue. Tim did great, communicated exactly what I needed and fixed my problem on the spot. I would highly recommend Trinity.

They did not do a very good job. The furnace and air conditioner has been working fine. It is just that the actual installation in the fireplace gas line was not installed at a professional level. I ended up fixing the gas line myself because he ran the gas line out the back of the house and then the side the chimney. I took pictures of the initial attempt to install this and it involved two blocks of siding that were ripped out and he cut the jig saws so there was no even lines to it. It was like a two inch or three inch holes drilled from the jig saws which then left the gaping hole even after he put that block of siding back in and then tore down form and then the smaller logs he put in the ceiling that he cut out that was not straight. It was two blocks and then 15 inches by 2 feet. So, I ended up cutting out a square or a rectangle and take another siding cut out the same size and put it in there. The line I initially told him it can't stick out and can't be coming out the siding he moved it instead of a foot in the house from the fireplace to about 5 inches from the fireplace but still sticking out the side of the house and going inside of the fireplace. Again, I told him this is not acceptable and he said he couldn't fix it that night and that he would have to come some other time to fix it. I was not going to leave it that way so that's why I cut his past work of siding out and put in my own and I drilled holes next to where the pipe was down into the consecutive holes so I ended up with a groove and a curve and moved the pipe down under to where it was under the siding going towards the fireplace. So, I put steel plates so that nail through that into the gas line and I marked so they know there's a gas line there so when they are putting the siding on they would be aware of it as well. So, he had to come back and put in a new valve and he still didn't run the line the way I wanted him to run the line and also he told me we didn't need an inspection. So, we called to make sure and we were told we did need an inspection and so we called the inspector that was going to come out and he said that because he hadn't put in a number of supports for the gas line going to the outside the house and there was supposed to be every three feet gas line and there was a five or six foot gap with no support. So he had to come and put that in and there were a few other odds that he had to fix and he came back out to fix them. The line that was running next to a water line, the gas line that he ran from the fireplace ran next to a water line and he needed to mark that with yellow so that somebody who was cutting the water line wouldn't make a mistake and cut the gas line instead. So, the furnace is working fine, the air conditioner is working fine and the thermostat we let him put in as one of those remote controllers so we when leave we can turn the heat down and then on our way back turn it back up from our phone. That was one we ordered ourselves because he couldn't find it. Everything else is working and it's just the way he put in the fireplace that was not a good job. And then after we told him we have to have it inspected he had to admit that he didn't actually have a license himself. He had to go back to his former employer and get them to say they put it in and that he put it under their license.

They showed up and was rushed from the get go. I paid $29.95 for estimate to replace my HVAC system. Needless to remind you every company gets free estimate. They were nowhere near the pricing of three other HVAC companies. They were almost $3000 more.

Tim arrived timely, diagnosed to see if there are cooling issues. He explained things I needed to do to keep AC working properly such as using a hose to keep the filters clean.

It could not have gone better. We have two units at the house. I was only concerned and only paid to have one unit tuned up, but he did both of them without me asking and without me paying anything extra. What? He figured out and fixed a problem with the unit in question, charged me nothing extra, and then recommended that I replace a part on each unit that is getting very old and if it goes out it can ruin the entire unit. After the clear and concise explanation, as well as the excellent and above and beyond service that I had already received, I was happy to pay extra for this ac unit repair which should make the units last much longer now

Nothing. I left a message for Tim on Sunday, and he called me back on Sunday to make the appointment. We agreed on between 9am-noon on Thursday (06.29.16) After that we texted back and forth. They are as follows: Jennifer: Hi Tim, this is Jennifer Krueger. We are supposed to meet for you to check the fireplace tomorrow at 9. I was wondering if I could pay you online or over the phone and have my neighbor let you in. Please give me a call when you get a second. Very punctual and professional. These guys really know their stuff -- and treat customers with respect by being very flexible and available with scheduling.

Owner actually arrive early for the appointment which was very nice. He checked the pilot light controls and burners on both fireplaces. He told me both pilot/gas valves needed to be replaced. He quoted a price for replacing the entire log set. I ask for and received a price for just replacing the pilot controls. He did not clean the logs or the glass fireplace doors which the deal claimed he would do. He also was to check the furnace but I had already had that work performed so I declined. He was in the house approximately 30 minutes. I certainly had the feeling he was more interested in selling me new fireplace logs and less interested in repairing and cleaning my current set.

Tim, the owner of Trinity, did a very good job. The only issue was getting him here. Fortunately, I am retired and I could meet with him at any time. If time is of the essence, using Trinity might be more inconvenient. Tim is a great guy and he does a good job explaining what he is doing in terms that are easily understood.

On his Angie's list page he indicates that he can do water heaters and plumbing related repairs. Tim is not a licensed plumber and should not be doing that type of work. After calling him to have our water heater replaced he focused on our furnace and not on the problem at hand which was our leaking water heater. He was going to perform the water heater work without getting a permit which is required for our area. Tim seems like a nice guy but he really shouldn't be doing plumbing type work.

Tim arrived promptly and was both courteous and professional. He handed me his business card as soon as I greeted him at the door. Although the deal was for only one fireplace, I had a second that Tim serviced for free. My fireplaces were rarely used so not in bad condition but we all know that to most service providers that doesn't matter. They want to get paid for their time and the number of things serviced. Rightfully so. Tim went above and beyond and that is what will stand him apart and keep him successful! He gave me instruction on how my fireplace worked ( I'm clueless) which was appreciated. He also talked about vent-less fireplaces ( I have one in basement) and their health concerns. I appreciated the education . Tim and Trinity was a good find on Angie's List. You won't be disappointed if you choose him ! He also put on shoe covers to protect my carpeting. He definitely respects his customers. Thanks Tim!

It went well. They were on time, and went out of their way to get the fireplace log set and get it installed just before Christmas, and my family coming for the holidays. They were efficient and very professional/ I will recommend them for future work.
