Description of Work: We asked for a consultation and a fireplace cleaning. His consultation was excellent, and we discovered that we will actually want to convert our fireplace to vented gas. We are still in conversation about our fireplace project. Our consultant has gone the extra mile in providing us with information that will help us realize exactly what we want as a finished product. He has remained in touch with us to be sure our project will be done well, in a timely fashion, and to our satisfaction.

Description of Work: Tim Ryan performed the gas logs safety checks and re-lit the pilot gas. He asked me if there were any problems (NO). I also used his service last year. I didn't need the furnace check, as my furnace is new and the dealer performs this service.

Manufacturing instructions for maintenance inspections of the gas fireplace states that during the annual service call for maintenance of the unit the burner should be removed from the burn try and clean that was not the embers her to be replaced but they should make sure they do not block the pilot that was not done All he could say was he's never seen this unit I just became fearful but he was going to damage the unit I just wanted him to leave |As this months Angie's list magazine states on page 13 call and Expert you're better off with a specialist technician than with someone who knows how to work on furnace

I told him I could meet anytime after 2:00 p.m. Tim called at noon because he was in my area but I couldn't leave work at that time. I didn't hear back until I called again October 2nd. He was driving and asked me to send him a message on his phone so he would have my info and would call me that evening. It is now Monday, Oct. 6 and I have yet to hear from him. I would like my money back!

Description of Work: I purchased a big deal for $49 for a Gas Fireplace Tune-Up, Cleaning and Inspection, and Furnace Safety Inspection. He arrived on time. He cleaned the furnace and did a good job. I was hoping he would change the logs in the fireplace.
